I am an ex-gametester (Broderbund Software, LucasArts\nGames, Point Of View Computing) and an ex-arcade attendant (Namco\nCyberstation - Pier 39, San Francisco, CA). I also own multiple systems such\nas the Sega Dreamcast, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Atari Jaguar, PlayStation\n1 and 2, Xbox, and Xbox 360.\n\nI started writing guides in 2003 because I felt it was something I could do\nutilizing my writing skills gained in college and gametesting along with my\npassion for vidgames. Over time I have honed my overall writing and\norganization skills plus my creative thinking skills. Additionally, I have\nextended the play value of the games I have written guides and FAQs for many\ntimes over plus I have received many letters from all over the world.\n\nI am also what one may call an RGB Analog Video enthusiast. I hack most of my\ngame consoles to try to get the best possible video from them and that\nusually involves tapping into the RGB Analog video signals and using them on\nthe right monitors to achieve my desires. To this end I became a member of\nthe GamesX.com mod forum and I post on their \"RGB + Video Discussions\" forum\narea from time to time.\n\nIn addition, I am a member of the X-Otic Computer Systems of San Antonio\n(www.xcssa.org), a group who specializes in Linux, Mac, and other systems. We\nare also a group of hackers and electronics enthusiasts.\n\nI am also a regular forum poster at GameFAQs, an occasional poster at\nAtariAge, Digital Press, GTA Forums, and Video Game Saga. I am also a member\nof The MoFaT (a members only message board set up by \"Grand Theft Auto: Vice\nCity\" players who met on the Vice City message boards at GameFAQs).\n\nOutside of gaming, my interests include \"Godzilla\" (I have been a G-Fan since\nthe age of ten) and \"Red Dwarf\". I am also a long time soundtrack collector\nwith many titles in my possession. As far as favorite sports teams go, my\nteams are the San Antonio Spurs (NBA) [the local team], the Denver Broncos\n(NFL) [although I live in Texas, I am originally from Colorado Springs,\nColorado] and the Air Force Falcons (NCAA Football).\n\nThis guide was constructed using TextWrangler on an Apple Mac Mini. I view my\nwork in Safari to help in seeing how it would look on the web and correct\nformat errors.\n\nI originally played this game on a Dell Optiplex GX270 (at 2.4Ghz) with 1GB\nof RAM and on Windows XP Professional. The GX270 also uses a built-in Intel\n82865G Graphics Controller and SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio. I also have\na Dell Optiplex GX620 (at 3.2Ghz) with 2GB of RAM and on Windows XP\nProfessional. This machine also has a Galaxy GeForce GT 610 video card\ninstalled.\n\nThe version of \"Codename 47\" that I have appears to be the last, latest\nversion known as Version 1.92 (or b192 as it will be indicated at the upper\nright corner of the main title screen).\n\nI also played this game using a wonderful little program called Xpadder V5.3,\na program that will allow you to map keyboard commands to a joypad. The\njoypad I used for this game is the Xbox 360 joypad with the \"Xbox 360 for\nWindows\" driver.\n\n \/=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=\\\n \/=========================================================================\\\n| >GEN1. Many hours were spent going over each\nmission and finding unique ways to solve them. I think you will be surprised\nby some of the solutions found here.\n\nThis guide was written while playing the game on the Normal difficulty\nsetting which is what most people will probably play this game on. It is also\ndesigned to avoid Civilian kills to make things easier for you and to get\nadditional money for better weapons.\n\nThis guide was also written while using the Xpadder keyboard-to-joypad\nmapping program and may incorporate strategies that may only work with this\nsetup. If any of these strategies don't work with the standard keyboard\/mouse\nconfiguration then feel free to write me about it.\n\nI have worked hard to make sure that this guide is as complete as possible \nbut at the same time leave room for exploration. Hitman: Codename 47 |\n \\=========================================================================\/\n \\=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=\/\n\n\"Hitman: Codename 47\" is the first game that features the now-popular\nprotagonist known as Agent 47, a clone designed for assassination work. The\ngame was released in 2000 for the PC which was the only platform it was\nreleased for. Some of the missions in this game were remade for the sequel\n\"Contracts\".\n\nBecause it is the first game of the series it certainly does not look or\nsound as good as the ones that would later follow. And, of course, it does\nfeel a little rough around the edges but that is forgivable being that it is\nthe beginning of this series.\n\nThe gameplay is a little different too being that it relies a bit more on\ngunplay than its successors. The mapping is nowhere as useful too but you\ndon't need it as much because of how the game is designed. Like with the\nother games in the series I throughly enjoyed this installment. It was cool\nto go and see how this all started.\n\nI got into the \"Hitman\" games because of the PS2 demo of \"Silent Assassin\"\nwhich was made available during the summer of 2002. I decided to load up the\ndemo because I was kind of bored while waiting for \"Grand Theft Auto: Vice\nCity\" to be released (fall of 2002).\n\nBut I did not expect the awesome music that graced my ears when I got to the\nmain menu. A fantastic orchestral piece that blew my mind. I would just let\nthe game sit on the menu screen so I could listen to this piece repeatedly.\nAfter awhile I finally got into the demo and I also became impressed by the\ngameplay and additional music.\n\nFrom that point I became a fan of \"Hitman\". And it was the first time that I\ngot into a game series because of the music. The music was done by Jesper\nKyd, a fantastic musician who I was initially exposed to from the Sega\nDreamCast game \"MDK2\". I now own the scores to all four \"Hitman\" games (and\nthe score to the oft-maligned \"Hitman\" movie - by Geoff Zanelli).\n\nWhen I started writing guides I always wanted to do the \"Hitman\" series.\nHowever, I wanted to start with the first game. But the game was never\nreleased outside of the PC platform. This created a problem because I am a\nMac user and it was never released there either.\n\nI was aware that some of the missions from this game were remade for\n\"Contracts\" but that wasn't the same. As I was playing \"Blood Money\" I was\nactually writing a guide in my head but it never came out because I wasn't\nable to do a guide on the first game.\n\nIn 2010 I finally obtained a suitable PC and was able to play \"Codename 47\".\nI would also start writing guides for it and all of the other \"Hitman\" games.\n\n \/=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=\\\n \/=========================================================================\\\n| >GEN3. Eidos\nInteractive put out this statement on their website concerning WinXP:\n\n0===========================================================================0\n| You may not have any problem running any game published by Eidos |\n| Interactive using Windows XP. There are a few things that we want you to |\n| be aware. |\n| |\n| Many of our games were developed for Windows 95\/98 long before the |\n| release of Windows XP. Many of our games were developed using the DirectX |\n| API. |\n| |\n| While Windows XP does support DirectX, many hardware manufacturers may |\n| not have drivers that support the version that is included with Windows |\n| XP. It is common that some hardware drivers have not been brought up to |\n| the WHQL specifications required for Windows XP. |\n| |\n| Thus games that use DirectX will not function correctly or at all. We can |\n| only warrant and support our products when they are run using the |\n| operating system for which they were designed. These specifications are |\n| clearly listed on the product packaging or at our WEB SITE. |\n| |\n| Older DOS games (Such as Tomb Raider) will not function and are not |\n| supported. |\n| |\n| Ultimately, it is the responsibility of Microsoft and\/or specific |\n| hardware manufacturer to provide for backward compatibility with Windows |\n| XP; this is to insure that the device drivers are compatible. At this |\n| time we do not have plans to change our older titles to make them Windows |\n| XP compatible for the reasons above. |\n| |\n| We realize this may be a problem for some users. If you have Windows XP |\n| on your machine, and the game will not function, your best course of |\n| action may be to return the game to the place of purchase. |\n0===========================================================================0\n\nI have had no problems running this game on my current setup (other than an\noccasional crash when trying to load up the cutscene of the lab blowing up in\nthe mission \"Say Hello to my Little Friend\"). Of course, being that there are\nan incredible number of different PC configurations, your mileage will\ndefinitely vary from setup to setup. At this time I have no idea if this game\nwill run under either Vista or Windows 8.\n\nIt is also important to point out that I am mainly a Mac user. The PC I have\nis setup to be strictly a gaming machine focusing on older games I have\nalways wanted to try, emulation, and gaming gadgets and tools that their\nmanufacturers are too damn lazy to make Mac drivers for. Hence its\ndesignation as the \"Xbox Deluxe\".\n\nTherefore my knowledge of Windows and PC hardware is basic at best so I may\nnot be able to help much with problems with your setup.\n\n \/=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=\\\n \/=========================================================================\\\n| >GEN4. Even on old machines, seven years and older, it runs excellently.\n\nOne of my PCs, the Optiplex GX270, came out in 2004, four years after release\nof the game and far exceeds the maximum specs that the title was designed\naround. The integrated graphics processor (IGP) for the GX270 is the Intel(R)\n82865G Graphics Controller and was aimed more towards businesses since that\nis what the machine was initially designed for. So this IGP isn't geared\ntoward gaming and is considered fairly weak.\n\nHowever, even at 1024x768, this game runs excellently even on the Intel IGP,\nmeaning that you don't need a dedicated video card to get the most out of\nthis game. There are some major differences between this game and those\nthat would follow:\n\n >>Graphics and Sound\n ******************\n The graphics are a bit rougher than its successors but that is to be \n expected for a game released in 2000. However, it appears to hold up \n pretty well. The sound is pretty decent but the voice acting, \n especially your character, is substandard (this was improved in the \n later games). The music, of course, is excellent.\n\n >>Mapping\n *******\n Those who are used to the mapping in the later \"Hitman\" games will find \n that there is a lot less detail to be found in \"Codename 47\". The only \n things that will show on your Map is yourself, your Pick-Up Point (if \n applicable), and some Points of Interest.\n\n >>Scoring\n *******\n The only thing you are scored on is money. The less you spend, and the \n cleaner the hit (meaning no unnecessary casualties), the more money you \n will make. That's it. You can be as stealthy or as ballistic as you \n like without any negative impact as long as you avoid killing Police \n and Civilians.\n\n >>Kill Only\n *********\n If you need to get somebody out of the way the only way you can do this \n is to kill them. There are no non-lethal ways to get rid of somebody in \n this game. Non-lethal means of dealing with people was introduced in \n \"Silent Assassin\".\n\n >>No Weapon Collecting\n ********************\n One of the fun things in later \"Hitman\" games was finding and \n collecting various weapons that you could use in later missions. \n However, that doesn't exist here. And there are\nno official drivers to allow you to play the game with a joypad.\n\nThankfully a programmer named Jonathan Firth wrote a program called Xpadder\nthat will allow you to map keyboard commands to a joypad. I used the Xbox 360\njoypad for this game and I configured it to be as close as possible to the\nlayout used for the Xbox 360 version of \"Silent Assassin\".\n\nThe current version of Xpadder is V5.7 which you have to pay money for. The\nversion I am using right now is V5.3 which is the last freeware version and\nwhat most people probably have.\n\nIt is recommended that you do *NOT* play \"Codename 47\" in Compatibility Mode\n(Windows XP) and in conjunction with Xpadder. If you do then either the game\nwill crash when you try to exit or it won't boot up at all. There are\nmany different weapons that can be used to perform your work. There are also\nadditional items that are useful. By the name of each item is an information\nsymbol which will allow you to get a closer look at it and provide a little\nmore information.\n\nUnlike with the later \"Hitman\" games you cannot increase the ammo for a\nweapon by picking up another one of the same kind. You will simply add\nanother one to your Inventory.\n\nFor example, if you pick up four Uzis, then you will have four Uzis in your\nInventory. This means that if you use one of the Uzis then you will have to\ndrop it and use another one when you run out of ammo for it. The only way to\nincrease ammo for a weapon during a mission is to find ammo clips for it.\n\nThe information on each weapon and item is broken down as follows (if\napplicable):\n\n --Cost: How much the weapon or item costs.\n --Ammo: How much the ammo costs and how many are in a clip.\n --Magazine Capacity: How many rounds the magazine of the weapon holds.\n --Maximum Ammo: The maximum amount of ammunition you can purchase. Its main use is to slit the \n throat of a person from behind.\n\n In real life slitting a throat will leave behind quite a mess \n as your victim bleeds out all over the place. However, this \n isn't an issue as your victim just drops bloodlessly to the \n ground.\n\n This is the best up-close weapon because you can quickly kill \n a person and Holster the weapon before anybody can become \n suspicious. However, the main problem with it is that you risk \n having the victim make noise as you are killing him which can \n attract unnecessary attention.\n\n To prevent this then you should be in Sneak Mode so you can \n totally surprise your victim.\n\n >>Fibre Wire\n ==========\n Cost: $110.\n ---------------------------------------------------------------------\n Notes: This is a specially made weapon using a very strong fiber \n wire. Another feature is that it will not trigger \n metal detectors.\n\n The main drawback to using this weapon is that it takes time \n to kill your victim during which you are vulnerable to being \n seen.\n\n0========0\n| Pistols \\\n0============================================================>\n\n These easily concealable weapons can take down people from a distance. \n However, they tend to make a lot of noise which will attract unwanted \n attention.\n\n >>AMT 1911 \"Hardballer\"\n =====================\n Based on: .45 ACP Colt M1911.\n Cost: $550.\n Ammo: $5 per clip (15 rounds).\n Magazine Capacity: 7 rounds.\n Maximum Ammo: 150 rounds.\n ---------------------------------------------------------------------\n Notes: This semi-automatic pistol packs a decent punch but has a \n small magazine. This \n makes it a rare and valuable collectable.\n\n Although it uses a slightly smaller caliber than the R93 the \n WA2000 is better because of its range which is 1,000m, 200 \n meters more than the R93, and the fact that you can fire \n multiple shots before needing to reload.\n\n It should be noted, though, caliber doesn't really matter if \n you manage to put the round between the eye sockets of your \n intended victim.\n\n This weapon also becomes the signature Sniper Rifle of the \n \"Hitman\" games.\n\n0==============0\n| Heavy Weapons \\\n0============================================================>\n\n These two large heavy weapons are very powerful and use the same ammunition \n (7.62mm rounds) but they cannot be concealed.\n\n >>US Army M60\n ===========\n Cost: $1,900.\n Ammo: $50 per clip (50 rounds).\n Magazine Capacity: 50 rounds.\n Maximum Ammo: 300 rounds.\n ---------------------------------------------------------------------\n Notes: The M60 is a very powerful belt fed large machine gun that \n normally is handled by two people - one to fire and one to \n handle the ammo belt. However, in this game, you handle it \n just like any machine gun. It is about as accurate than the \n M16 and is certainly more powerful.\n\n There are only two drawbacks to this weapon. First, it is \n pretty loud so expect more Guards to come calling if you use \n it. And second, this weapon only appears during the Columbia \n chapter of the story.\n\n >>M134 Minigun\n ============\n Cost: $10,750.\n Ammo: $1,000 per clip (1,000 rounds).\n Magazine Capacity: 1,000 rounds.\n Maximum Ammo: 6,000 rounds.\n ---------------------------------------------------------------------\n Notes: This large gatling-style machine gun is the most powerful \n weapon in the game. It spits ammo like there's no tomorrow and \n very little can stand up to it. In real life, this weapon is \n often attached to vehicles and cannot be carried by a person. \n But, just like with the M60, you have no problems lugging this \n thing with you.\n\n There are a couple of major drawbacks though. The first is \n that it takes nearly two seconds from the time you hold down \n Fire to actually shoot the weapon. This is because the barrel \n needs to start spinning before it can shoot bullets.\n\n So, by the time you start shooting, your target either has \n moved out of the way or killed you. Not good.\n\n But there is a commonly known trick to get around that. \n Quickly tap the Left Mouse Button to spin the barrel without \n firing. This way you can fire immediately when you fire again. \n But you need re-spin the barrel before making another attack.\n\n Another downside to the Minigun is that you move very slowly \n while carrying it. This makes you very vulnerable to attack. \n However, there is another commonly known trick to get around \n that. In order to speed yourself up when carrying this weapon \n you must Holster it first.\n\n But you can't use the Holster key to do it or you will drop \n the weapon. You must use the Holster option in the Inventory \n List to properly Holster this weapon so you can move faster.\n\n These two tricks are very useful in the one mission where you \n need to use this weapon.\n\n0+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+0+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+0\n| B. The most important thing to know about\nthis game, as well as the other \"Hitman\" games, is that everybody, Guards and\nCivilians alike, move in very specific patterns.\n\nIt is very important to note these patterns as it can make the difference\nbetween success and failure. When you first play a mission then it is best to\ntake your time and observe everything so you can get the feel of how\neverybody moves before doing anything of importance.\n\nOne way to break a pattern is if a body is discovered. Either the Guard will\nstand there (possibly making him easier to attack) or go back to his pattern\nas though nothing has happened (and leave the body alone). As you can see,\nthe Guards aren't exactly known for their smarts. There are situations where you need to\nquietly dispose of someone that may get in your way later. The quietest way\nto get rid of someone is to get behind him and then use the Knife\/Fibre Wire\nto take him down.\n\nThe main thing to know is that if you get behind someone and pull out any\nweapon then they will hear you pulling it out and you may alert him (even if\nyou are in the process of killing him). This can lead to problems, especially\nif he makes any noise.\n\nHowever, if you enter Sneak Mode, in which case you will crouch, you will\nmove about slowly and silently. Most importantly, you will also be able to\npull out any weapon without anybody hearing it even if you are up against\nsomeone. And, of course, your victim won't be able to make any noise since\nyou will completely surprise him when you attack.\n\nDuring the course of the guide you will see three specific Melee Attack\nwords: Knife, Slash, and Wire. They pertain to certain methods of Melee\nAttacks:\n\n0===========================================================================0\n| Knife | This is the melee attack method I use the most as it is the |\n| | fastest. Get up right against |\n| | his backside and walk with him, highlight the Knife, then quickly |\n| | press the Left Mouse Button to pull out the weapon and attack |\n| | before he can make any noise and immediately Holster the Knife. |\n|-------+-------------------------------------------------------------------|\n| Wire | This is the exact same method as the Knife but you use the Fibre |\n| | Wire instead. There are certain situations where the Fibre Wire |\n| | may be better for melee attacking than the Knife. |\n0===========================================================================0\n\nAfter killing your victim then you should drag him to a secluded area so he\nisn't found by other Guards and Civilians. To drag a body you need to be\nclose enough to the body to get the action to appear in the Action Window or\nplace the cursor on the body so you get the Pointer Menu prompt. Then\nactivate the Pointer Menu and select Drag.\n\nAt this point you will grab the body and start to drag it behind you. This\nwill slow you down a lot and you will risk being seen. If any other\nGuards see the body of the dead Guard you switched clothes with then they\nwill become suspicious.\n\nThe best way to get around that, other than by hiding the dead body properly\nin the first place, is to change clothes. Even if it looks exactly the same\nas what you were wearing before then that should be enough to get them off\nyour case (but you must not be seen changing clothes or your cover will be\nblown).\n\nIt is also important that the body you changed clothes with is not found or\nthe Guards will start looking for somebody dressed as the dead person\n(meaning: you).\n\nSometimes you will see Guards with weapons drawn. That is, if you do it the \nstandard way.....\n\n0===========================================================================0\n|====================| Mission Walkthrough (Standard) |=====================|\n0===========================================================================0\n\nFor this method you will need the Oyabun Knife and the Car Bomb w\/Remote\nDetonator.\n\nWhen you start the mission then you need to run to the Sewer Grating in the\nmiddle of this area. From your starting point, run into the alley and stop at\nthe Grating. Then look north at the wall. As you are doing this, the Target\nwill appear and stop at the Restaurant. The Chauffer will then leave and head\ntoward your position.\n\nWhat he will do is stop in front of you on the Grating and relieve himself.\nYou will need to kill him and take his Outfit. Even though he is a Chauffer\nhe is also a Guard and you can kill him without any penalty.\n\nHowever, another Civilian will be present in the alley, going from west to\neast behind you, and you need to wait for him to leave before you can kill\nthe Chauffer. While you are waiting for this Civilian to leave you should\nbring up the Inventory List and highlight the Knife.\n\nLook east and wait for the Civilian to turn the corner before attacking the\nChauffer. Slash the Chauffer and drag his body to the open Grating. The best\nthing to do is to go up against the wall as you are dragging the body then,\nas you are next to the opening, rotate yourself so the body is covering the\nopening and let go so he can fall in then fall down with him.\n\nAfter you do that then Change Clothes and climb out. You can also get a\nBeretta from the Chauffer as well if you want. From here, head to the Limo.\nHopefully the nearby Guard has walked away from the Limo so you can do what\nyou need to do.\n\nGet to the drivers side of the Limo, pull out the bomb, and use the Pointer\nMenu to allow you to plant the bomb. After that, then head back into the\nalley. At this point you should see a notice that your Target is leaving the\nRestaurant.\n\nHead to the sidewalk near your car then look east. You should see three Blue\nLotus members at the street curve ahead of you (with a fourth around the\ncorner and out of view). Pull out the Detonator and wait.\n\nThe goal is to wait until the Limo is in the right position before\ndetonating. You want the explosion to kill not only those inside the vehicle\nbut those at the street curve which will complete all of your objectives.\n\nAfter awhile you should see the Limo come into view and head east toward the\nstreet curve where the other members are at. Wait just before the Limo gets\ninto the curve before detonating.\n\nThere is a short delay between pressing the button and the explosion. So, if\nyou time it right, then the explosion should occur right when the Limo gets\ninto the curve which will kill everybody. Then simply head to your car to\nsuccessfully complete the mission.\n\n0===========================================================================0\n|======================| Mission Walkthrough (Cheap) |======================|\n0===========================================================================0\n\nFor this method you don't need to bring anything. As crazy as it sounds you\ncan actually do this without bringing in any outside weapons. Because of all\nof the Guards it is easily the hardest mission to do cheaply. To successfully\ndo this mission in this manner you pretty much have to kill everybody except\nthe three wandering Civilians.\n\nThere are a total of eleven Red Dragon members in this level. Two\nUzi-wielding members at the northwest corner, two Shotgun-wielding members at\nthe northeast corner, two in front of the Restaurant, four inside the\nRestaurant, and one that goes around the Map in a counterclockwise pattern.\n\nIn addition, there are four Blue Lotus members at the southeast corner, one\nthat Guards the Limo, one Chauffer (who is also a Guard), and three inside\nthe Restaurant (including the Emissary).\n\nYou have to deal with them in a specific way in order to be successful. This\nis because the Emissary tends to flee at the slightest sign of trouble.\nHowever, you can significantly increase your chances of success if you kill\nthe Chauffer as early as possible.\n\nWhen you start the mission then head west and find the short dead-end alley\nat the southwest corner of the Map. At the end you will find an R93 Sniper\nRifle and a clip of Sniper Ammo (this will give you seven rounds). Grab the\nSniper Ammo but not the Rifle. Turn around and look east out of the alley.\n\nWait for the cutscene of the arrival to start then press Esc and continue to\nwait. You should see a Civilian walking from left to right on the street\nbeyond the alley. After he passes then grab the Rifle and head to the\nentrance of the alley but *DON'T* go out. Instead angle northeast to find the\nRed Dragon member standing at the southeast corner of the road intersection.\n\nZoom in on him and nail him in the head. The other Red Dragon member will\ncome closer to investigate. Nail him in the head too. Stay zoomed in and wait\nfor the sound cues that tell you that the wandering Red Dragon member has\ndiscovered the bodies. Wait for him to turn the corner then nail him in the\nhead. Then drop the Rifle.\n\nIt is important that you need to use just three shots for this part since you\nwill need to use the Rifle later in this mission.\n\nGo over to the bodies and look out toward the Limo. Keep an eye on the Blue\nLotus member guarding the vehicle. If his back is to you then go and collect\nat least two of the Uzis dropped.\n\nIf he is not then wait for him to come to investigate and turn his back\nbefore collecting weapons. Also keep an eye out for the Chauffer who is\narriving back at the Limo after relieving himself. You may also need to wait\nfor him to come to investigate before finishing up with weapon collecting.\n\nAfter acquiring all three Uzis then head to the Sewer Grating and wait. The\nChauffer will eventually come back here again to relieve himself.\n\nEnter Sneak Mode, aim the cursor at his head, then pull out an Uzi and cap\nhim. Then Holster it, get out of Sneak Mode, grab the Chauffer's Beretta 92,\nand head to the end of the alley to the east. Stay just inside the alley and\nlook northeast to find one of the two Shotgun-wielding Red Dragon members.\nPull out an Uzi but *DON'T* fire.\n\nInstead, let him see you with it then quickly turn around and go to the\nnorth-south alley nearby. This will lure him into the alley where you can\nsafely dispose of him using the wall corner as cover. Poke around the corner\nand kill him with a short burst then quickly Holster your Uzi. This will\nattract the attention of one of the Blue Lotus members at the southeast\ncorner of the Map.\n\nHe will come into the alley and actually run up to you since you do not have\na weapon out. Whip out an Uzi and quickly kill him then Holster again and\ngrab his Uzi and Holster it. Another Blue Lotus member will run up to you and\nyou can repeat the process.\n\nKeep an eye on your Uzi ammo. Switch to another one when the ammo gets very\nlow. As long as the Blue Lotus members don't see you firing at someone then\nyou shouldn't cause the Emissary to flee. At least three of the four Blue\nLotus members from the southeast corner should come up to the alley one at a\ntime as you kill each one. But you need to do something else before you can\nget the last one.\n\nBring out an Uzi and creep to the end of the alley. You still need to get rid\nof the other Shotgun-wielding Red Dragon. Poke out just enough to draw his\nattention then go back around the corner and use it as cover when you kill\nhim as he gets into view.\n\nAfter killing him then go through and drop any Uzi with low ammo. Then head\nto the southeast corner of the Map to find the lone Blue Lotus member. Get<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
behind him, enter Sneak Mode, pull out the Baretta 92, and cap him. Then drop\nthe handgun and pick up his Uzi.\n\nFrom here, head back to where you dropped the Sniper Rifle (which, if you\nwere good in your aiming, should have four rounds remaining). Then go to the\nlarge red semi at the south side of the Map. Go just east of that and stop\njust before you get to a tree and look north. You should now be looking north\nthrough a long north-south alley. At the north end is the Restaurant.\n\nGo into Zoom Mode and you should see the Limo Guard and the two stationary\nRed Dragon members. Aim at the head of the Red Dragon on the left but *DON'T*\nshoot him. Instead, after you aim at his head, move your scope left so you\nare aiming at the top of the doorknob on the right side of the door. Then it\nis just a matter of waiting.\n\nDon't worry about the frightened Civilians. They're not going to be able to\nwarn the remaining Guards. It will take some time but eventually the Emissary\nwill finish his business and leave. The door will then open and he will walk\ninto the Crosshairs. Fire one shot at his head to kill him.\n\nThen wait for everybody to settle down. However, two Blue Lotus members will\nstay inside the Restaurant.\n\nLook for the Limo Guard and nail him in the head. Then nail at least one, if\nnot both, of the stationary Guards depending on how much ammo you have.\nNotice how they're just standing around like idiots as you pick off their\nfriends. Not exactly the brightest crayons in the box.\n\nDrop your empty Rifle and use your Uzis to kill any surviving exterior\nGuards. Go to the door that the Emissary went through and open it. Let\nyourself be seen by the Guards then run for the alley just southeast of the\nentrance.\n\nLure the Guards into the alley and use the corner near the sewer grating as\ncover as you pick them off (at least one of the remaining Blue Lotus members\nmay follow you too). After killing all of the Guards then head back to the\nRestaurant entrance but to the other door.\n\nGo to the door, look northwest, and open it. Slowly sidestep right to find at\nleast one, if not both, of the remaining Blus Lotus members. Quickly kill\nthem with your Uzi to finish things off.\n\nIf you take the time to explore the Restaurant lobby before leaving you will\nfind a small storage room with *LOTS* of Sniper Ammo. Lot of good that'll do\nyou now, right? And of you're thinking about it, no - there is no safe way\ninto this room. No disguise (Red Dragon, Blue Lotus, Chauffer) can prevent\nyou from getting shot at if you try to enter the Restaurant.\n\nAfter killing everybody off then head back to your Pick-Up Point to\nsuccessfully complete this mission.\n\n 0+=+=+=+=+0\n \/ Hong Kong \\\n0=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+\\\n| >HKG3. Dressing up as a Red Dragon and leaving behind a Red Dragon Amulet\nwill help in this cause.\n\nTo acquire the Red Dragon Amulet and Outfit you must intercept and kill the\nRed Dragon Negotiator before he can reach the Restaurant. In addition, you'll be chased out by the Chief and end up\nback outside.\n\nAnd you really can't wait until everybody shows up since you need to stash\nthe Red Dragon body and get the Amulet before he gets to the Restaurant. You\nalso need to be dressed as the Red Dragon too or the meeting will be\ncancelled the moment you climb in the window if you are still dressed in your\nstandard Suit.\n\nAccording to one my readers, Andrej, you may be able to do this mission\nwithout bringing in any weapons:\n\n \"Run towards restaurant, pick up key, head towards kitchen and wait. After \n the info about arriving targets displays, let the cook go 10x around the \n kitchen knife, take the knife. The kitchen knife is not possible to hide - \n when I tried, it just dissapeared. That means from now on, you will have \n to walk around with the knife until you kill the police chief. Do not run \n after the cook (if he feels persuaded, he alerts the guards sooner). Head \n through the alley towards the red dragon (do not bump into the old man \n with the kitchen knife, he will alert the guards), wait in the alley until \n red dragon passes, then run, knife, run-strafe-drag the body into the \n sewers - you have to manage to hide red dragon in the sewers on the first \n try. Take amulet, clothes, run like hell back as you came, climb through \n the window, open the door to the restaurant, lure the chief to go into the \n toilet. He will pull out a gun, but dont go into the restaurant, because \n waiter will kill you quite quickly. Knife the chief in the bathroom, dont \n forget to leave the amulet there, climb again through the window and run \n like hell trying to get to the car. While escaping, sometimes, it might \n happen that one police officer will kill another one ...well just give it \n another try in such case.\"\n\n0===========================================================================0\n|====================| Mission Walkthrough (Standard) |=====================|\n0===========================================================================0\n\nFor this method you need the Oyabun Knife and the Beretta 92 (Silenced) - 15\nrounds.\n\nWhen you start the mission then head straight east and enter the Restaurant.\nTalk to the Bartender and get the Toilet Key. From here, enter the Restroom,\nclose the door, and exit through the window. Now head to the northeast corner\nof the Map. It is here that the Red Dragon Negotiator will appear.\n\nBring up your Inventory List and highlight your Knife. Then get up behind him\nand walk with him. If you look at your Map then you will see a Sewer Grating\nat the north central part of the area. This is where you need to drag the Red\nDragon body when you kill him.\n\nAs you walk behind the Red Dragon then you will notice that he will slowly\ncross the street at an angle as he heads to the intersection ahead. You will\nalso see, just before the intersection on the sidewalk, a short pipe railing.\nAfter he gets onto the sidewalk, and just before he reaches this pipe\nrailing, quickly Slash the Red Dragon. Next, drag the body to the nearby\nSewer Grating.\n\nWhen you get near the Grating then go up against the wall and, when the body\nis near the opening, then angle northwest through the hatch so the body is\nover the opening so you can drop him into it. This takes care of two\nobjectives.\n\nAfter that, fall down into the sewer and Change Clothes plus grab the Red\nDragon Amulet. Then climb out of the sewer and head back towards the\nRestaurant. However, do not head to the front door. Instead, head back to the\nwindow you climbed out of earlier and re-enter the Restroom (but make sure\nthat no one sees you before doing this).\n\nAfter re-entering the Restroom then bring out the Red Dragon Amulet and drop\nit thus completing another objective. Next, head to the door, open it, aim\nyour cursor at the Chief's head, then close the door again. Then bring out\nthe Silenced Beretta, open the door, fire about three quick shots at the\nChief's head (killing him in the process), and then quickly close the door.\n\nIf you do this fast enough then you shouldn't have any of the nearby Police\ncome after you (mainly because of the speed of the hit and the silenced\nweapon). After killing the Chief then Holster your weapon and exit through\nthe Restroom window again. After getting back outside then walk back to your\ncar (getting your Suit back is optional) to successfully complete the\nmission.\n\n0===========================================================================0\n|======================| Mission Walkthrough (Cheap) |======================|\n0===========================================================================0\n\nFor this method you still need the Oyabun Knife but leave the Silenced\nBeretta 92 behind.\n\nYou do exactly as before in regards to the Red Dragon member and re-entering\nthe Restroom. It has a Restaurant\nArea, Kitchen, Bar, Lobby, and V.I.P. This is why I suggest using the Compass for this endeavor at\nleast for the first couple of attempts before trying without it.\n\nOne of the more popular methods of killing Lee Hong is by use of the Poison\nthat is provided to you in the Herbal Shop. However, using it will involve\nkilling one of the Waiters to gain an Outfit.\n\nHowever, this will incur a $5,000 penalty against your reward. So, to prevent\nunnecessary Civilian casualties and to save money, I will use another method\nthat will involve shooting Lee Hong through a skylight in the Restaurant\nroof.\n\nIf any bodies are discovered then the Guards will warn Lee Hong and his HQ\nwill be locked down. This doesn't matter much since you can't get past his\nGuard, Tzun, regardless of what disguise you have. This is nothing to worry\nabout since there is more than one way into the HQ.\n\nIn addition, the Jade Figure can be found in one of four random locations.\n\n0===========================================================================0\n|==========================| Mission Walkthrough |==========================|\n0===========================================================================0\n\nFor this method you need the Oyabun Knife. Although you have the option of\nbringing the Silenced Beretta 92 I found that there are better weapons to use\nin this mission.\n\nWhen you start the mission then you will be near the Restaurant where you\nwere at in the mission \"Ambush at the Wang Fou Restaurant\". This time,\nhowever, you will need to go inside. Walk into the building to enter the\nLobby and you will see several things.\n\nAhead of you is a large pillar and a couple of dividers. To your left is a\nshort set of stairs and a guarded door. To your right is another guarded door\n(with two Guards). You will also see a female Guard patrol about.\n\nGo around the pillar and you will see the entrance to the Bar. On the right\nside of the hallway leading to the Bar is another Guard standing in front of\na door. As you explore the place you will find that you aren't going to get\ninto many areas while wearing your current Suit. You will need to get a Guard\nOutfit.\n\nThe Guard that is standing in the hallway to the Bar is the one that you need\nto take down to get an Outfit. The door he is standing in front of is a small\nstorage room which is conveniently perfect for stashing a body. What you need\nto do is get behind him and open the door but stand behind him just enough to\nkeep it open. Wait for the female Guard to pass you and enter the Bar before\nyou make your move.\n\nWhen she does then get up and Knife the Guard and quickly drag him into the\nstorage room and around the corner so he isn't seen through the door. Change\nClothes then head back out. Turn right, enter the Bar, then turn left and\nhead to the Bartender. Talk to him and he will tell you about the Brothel on\nthe second floor. Even though you are in a Guard Outfit you are still seen as\na customer. Odd.\n\nAfter talking to him then he will place a Flyer onto the bar which you will\nneed to take so you can enter the Brothel. From here, head east back through\nthe octogonal door and all the way to a single door in the east wall. Go\nthrough this door then straight ahead to another guarded door that will lead\ninto the Brothel. Go through this next door and follow the way to another\ndoor that opens into a larger area.\n\nAngle southeast and you will come to a door guarded by a fat guy who will let\nyou through to the upper floor where the Brothel is located. When you get to\nthe top floor then you will find two women - and old woman and a young woman.\n\nThe old woman will introduce you to Lei Ling who will lead you to her room.\nWhen you get to her room then you will find that she wants to leave the\nfacility and will help you by giving you the Safe Combination if you help her\nescape (which you automatically do).\n\nShe will then run out of the room and you have to follow her. She will lead\nyou to a ladder which will get you to another part of the rooftop. After\ngetting to the other side she will lead you to a gate.\n\nThis is where she will make her escape, give you the Safe Combination, and\ninform you of the Agent being locked up in the Basement. After this then turn\naround and head back. You won't be able to climb the ladder but you won't\nneed to.\n\nYou will see three doors along the west side of this area. The one you will\nneed to go through is the one at the top of the short set of stairs leading\nup to it (the middle door).\n\nYou will now enter the Kitchen area. Proceed forward past the cabinets, which\nshould be to your left, and you will see two doorways. The skinny one near\nthe wall corner is the one that leads to the Basement area. Proceed down the\nstairs until you find the pair of Red Dragons.\n\nWhen you find them then go left around the corner, go left around the next\ncorner, then turn right at the next one and go down the short set of stairs.\nThen go all the way to the wall at the end of this hall and turn right. If\nyou are in the right place then you should see a Red Dragon on a lower floor\nguarding a door. This is the where the Agent is being kept.\n\nHowever, there is something that needs to be done first. Get up behind this\nRed Dragon, despite his protest, highlight your Knife, and look left. On the\nupper floor is a wandering Guard. When you see him and he moves out of view\nthen Knife the Red Dragon and move to the left of the body. Highlight your\nKnife again and wait.\n\nEventually the wandering Guard will come back and see the body. When he runs\ndown to investigate then either Slash him or let him run off to warn Lee\nHong.\n\nThen go through the door and talk to the Agent. The Agent is Agent Smith, a\nrecurring character who you will run into several times during the course of\nthe Hitman games. He will then give you the Safe location as you rescue him.\nThat's two objectives down.\n\nGo back through the Basement the way you came and return to the Kitchen. From\nhere, look at your Map. The Jade Figure can be found in one of four random\nlocations (from hardest to easiest):\n\n >>The Guard Quarters\n ******************\n This is in a small room in the Guard Quarters. To get to it you need to \n get to the Elevator at the southwest area of the VIP Area. Take it up \n to the Guards Quarters then turn right when you exit. Head to the \n junction and turn left to find this room.\n\n When you get to the Safe then you will find it guarded by two Guards \n and another Guard that will patrol the area. Look on your Map and find \n the room that says Staff Area. It should have several smaller rooms \n attached to it.\n\n Go into the Staff Area room to find a Guard at the southwest corner. Go \n into the room just ahead of you to find two more Red Dragons. However, \n the reason to go into this room is to find several clips of SMG Ammo on \n the chair near the door. In the room at the northeast corner is some \n AK47 ammo and two Body Armor vests.\n\n After you get the SMG Ammo then go to the Guard near the double doors \n then Knife him, grab his Uzi, and Change Clothes (so you can preserve \n your Guard Outfit in case you are identified). Keep the Uzi out and \n head to the Safe.\n\n Near the Safe is a closet you can enter despite the objections of one \n of the Guards. Once you enter the closet then turn around so you can \n look at the two Guards. You need to back away from the door and \n sidestep left to align the heads of the two Guards. Then fire a quick \n burst to kill them.\n\n This will attract the attention of nearby Guards who will come to \n investigate. Reload before they arrive then kill them as they appear. \n Once the coast is clear then open the Safe to get and Holster the Jade \n Figure. Then go back and get your Guard Outfit before proceeding.\n\n >>The Meeting Room\n *****************\n This is in the room behind the double doors at the southwest corner of \n the VIP Area. Go through these doors to find two Guards. One that does \n a very short patrol and the other by the Safe.\n\n Get behind the one by the Safe and look right. When you see the \n patrolling Guard move out of view then Knife the Red Dragon. Then wait \n for the other Guard to re-enter the room and stand at the end of his \n short patrol route. Even though his dead friend is just a few feet away \n he doesn't do anything!\n\n Quickly get behind him then Knife him. Leave the body since it is out \n of view of the nearby door. Then open the Safe to get and Holster the \n Jade Figure.\n\n >>The Brothel\n ***********\n The Safe is found in the room west of where you first talked to the old \n lady when you were here earlier.\n\n When you get back up to the Brothel, head west through the door then \n continue forward past the old lady and through another door to find the \n Safe and a Guard. Get up behind the Guard then Knife him. Move the body \n into the northeast corner of the room then open the Safe to get and \n Holster the Jade Figure.\n\n >>The Storage Room\n ****************\n The Storage Room is located at the southeast corner of the Map on the\n first floor. When you are inside the Kitchen then head west until you \n get to the double doors leading to the Dining Area but don't go through \n them.\n\n Look to your left to find a single door. Go through this door then \n angle southeast to get to the door that you went through to get to the \n Brothel. When you enter back into the larger area where you found the \n fat guy then turn left to find a single door in a corner. Go through \n this door and through the next one to enter the Storage Room.\n\n Turn right and go past the wall extension to find a Guard and a safe. \n Get behind the Guard and Knife him then open the Safe to get and \n Holster the Jade Figure.\n\nWhen you have the Jade Figurine then go back to the Restaurant and head for\nthe northwest corner where you will find a pair of double doors. This is the\nHerbal Shop.\n\nGo inside and talk to the owner who will provide you information and a bottle\nof Poison that you can use against Lee Hong. However, you need to be dressed\nas a Waiter to use it so, at least as far as this strategy is concerned, the\nPoison is useless.\n\nExit the Herbal Shop and you will find a table with four bowls sitting under\na skylight. This is where Lee Hong and his Guard, Tzun, will sit. Now it is\ntime to go to the roof so you can assassinate Lee through this skylight. It\nis best to head to the Guards Quarters to get there.\n\nIf you hadn't already been here before to get the Jade Figure then go and get\nthe SMG Ammo and get Body Armor before heading to the roof.\n\nAt the south side of the Staff Area room is a set of double doors. Go through\nthen and through the next two to get to the roof. When you exit then you\nshould see a pair of stationary Guards. Head to the north side of the roof to\nfind a High Voltage area. To the left and right of this area are the\nRestaurant skylights.\n\nThe one I will use for the assassination is the one to the left. However, I\nneed to clear the rooftop of four Red Dragons.\n\nHead to the southeast corner of the roof to find the door that goes to the\nBrothel. Go near the wall corner and wait for one of the two patrolling Red\nDragons to stop at the end of his patrol route. Get up behind him and Knife\nhim then Change Clothes. Next, go west and stand east of the Helipad which is\nsouth of the High Voltage area.\n\nThe other patrolling Red Dragon will eventually stop at a point east of the\nnortheast corner of the Helipad. Knife him and leave the body.\n\nNext, pull out your Uzi and go back to the two stationary Red Dragons you\npassed by earlier. Position yourself south of the pair and line them up, aim\nthe cursor at the top of the head of the closest Red Dragon, then kill them\nquickly with the Uzi.\n\nThe noise will definitely alert nearby Guards and they will start looking for\na suspicious Red Dragon. But something else interesting happens. Head to the\nskylight where Lee and Tzun sit underneath. When you get there then you may\nfind that Tzun has left Lee to himself. Apparently the gunfire has caused\nTzun to leave. Some Bodyguard he is.\n\nAim the cursor at Lee's head then kill him with a quick burst from the Uzi\nthen run back and grab your Guard Outfit. This will automatically free you\nfrom suspicion. From here, head back through the Brothel and through the\ndouble doors where the fat guy is standing. Then head forward to the single\ndoor in the corner (this is the door that leads to The Storage Room).\n\nWhen you get through the door then turn right to go down the stairs back into\nthe Basement. Use your Map to help in finding your way to Hong's HQ. Continue\nnorth through the Basement area and you will then need to take another\nElevator into Basement 2. Then go through Basement 2 and to another Elevator\nwhich will lead you into Hong's HQ.\n\nAfter exiting the Elevator then take a right which will lead you to a metal\ndoor which contains an Elevator that goes to the dock and a boat that will\nlead you out of Hong Kong and successfully complete this mission.\n\nNow onto the next Target.....\n\n \/=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=\\\n \/=========================================================================\\\n| >HTM2. The Village of the local tribe is at the east side of the Map.\n\n0==============0\n| General Notes \\\n0=======================================================>\n\nThis is a huge level and use of the Compass and Binoculars is recommended for\nat least the first couple of attempts until you get comfortable with the\nmissions here in Columbia before doing this cheaply. I also recommend not\npurchasing any guns for you will find all you need from the Weapon Caches and\nSoldiers.\n\nOne thing to note is that there is another objective that is not listed. That\nobjective is to rescue the Chief's brother who is being held on a bridge at\nthe south end of the Map. You activate this objective when you bring the Idol\nback to the Chief. However, you can rescue his brother before you give the\nIdol back. That is what I will do here.\n\nThe game also wants you to find the Crash Site before the Soldiers get there.\nBut you will more than likely run into four-man patrols who will fire on you\nbecause you are not in a disguise.\n\nFor this reason I prefer to let the Soldiers find the plane while I go and\ndisguise and arm myself. There are a couple of ways to safely get at the Idol\nwhen it is guarded by them.\n\n0===========================================================================0\n|==========================| Mission Walkthrough |==========================|\n0===========================================================================0\n\nWhen you start the mission then you will be at the western side of this very\nlarge area. Your first priority is to find a weapon. Head northwest to find\nthe double Weapon Cache. It is here that you can find the Beretta 92 and\nplenty of Pistol Ammo. Pick up one of the Berettas and all of the Pistol\nAmmo.\n\nJust south of this Cache should be a two-man patrol. When you find them then\nstay far back and find the pair of large trees just northeast of them. Stand\nbetween these trees and slowly sidestep right so you can find one of the\nGuards. Then shoot at him with the Beretta.\n\nIf you stand far enough away then he can't see you because of the jungle\nmist. Don't worry if you waste multiple shots killing him - you should have\nmore than 200 rounds. After killing him then sidestep right again to find the\nother Guard and do the same to him. Then go and Change Clothes with one of\nthem. If they aren't there then there is another place to find a two-man\npatrol.\n\nFrom this point, the next objective is to head to the triple Weapon Cache\nlocated at the northeast corner of this Map. As you proceed forward keep an\neye open for stationary two-man patrols. If you didn't get a disguise then\nyou will be fired upon if you are seen.\n\nWhen you get to the triple Weapon Cache then you will find one with two\nM16A2s and several clips of 5.56mm ammo. The other two contain five clips of\nMachinegun Ammo and two M60s. Grab all of the Machinegun Ammo and one M60. Do\n*NOT* grab an M16A2. The reason not to get an M16A2 is that it is not a\nweapon normally carried by any of the Soldiers here.\n\nIf they see you with one then any disguise you are in will be blown and you\nwill be fired upon. The Baretta is also a weapon not normally carried by the\nother Soldiers so it is important to Holster it as soon as you are done using\nit. The M60, however, is carried by at least one Soldier and is considered an\nacceptable weapon. And it is more accurate and powerful than the AK47s\ncarried by most of them.\n\nNow, if you haven't got a disguise, then head south toward the single Weapon\nCache. There are usually a two-man patrol you can find along the way so you\ncan get an Outfit here when you kill them. The M60 will make it pretty easy\nto dispose of them.\n\nAfter you get the M60 (and 300 rounds) and a disguise then head to the Crash\nSite. When you get there then you will find the plane and several Guards. All\nof the Guards are on the west side of the plane.\n\nIn addition, you will find a Guard that is standing by an open door and near\nthe Holy Figure. You cannot get the Holy Figure until you get rid of this\nGuard. But you will also see that all of the nearby Soldiers are facing west\nand with their backs to this one. Use this to your advantage. There are two\nways to go about this depending on what you bring with you:\n\n >>The M60 (Cheap Method)\n **********************\n Go to the east side of the plane and look west toward it. Pick off the \n Guard on the wing. Then use the south end of the plane as cover as you \n take down the remaining Soldiers.\n\n It should be pointed out that the very loud noise of the M60 will \n attract Guards that may be outside of the Crash Site and will run to \n investigate. Pick them off while they are standing around then grab and \n Holster the Holy Figure when the coast is clear.\n\n >>The Knife\/Fibre Wire (Standard Method)\n **************************************\n Go to the east side of the plane and drop your M60. Then highlight your \n Knife\/Fibre Wire, go to the other side of the plane, behind the door \n Soldier, and Knife\/Wire him. Then grab and Holster the Holy Figure, go \n back to the other side of the plane, and grab your M60.\n\nNotice that the Outfit of the door Soldier is a khaki color. He is of a\nhigher rank than the others (this info is useful in a later mission).\n\nRegardless of method, when you get the Holy Figure, then go to the bridge\nsouth of the Crash Site area to rescue the Chief's Brother. When you get to\nthe bridge then you will find several Soldiers. One will be in a tower at the\nnorth end of the bridge (and carrying an M60), three will be at the north\nentrance, three (along with the Brother) will be in the center, and one will\nbe in the tower at the south end.\n\nHead up northeast until you come to a tree then use it as cover as you pick\noff the three Soldiers at the entrance. The tree and the jungle mist will\nkeep them from seeing you. As you kill them then two of the three Soldiers in\nthe center will come to investigate. Kill them and wait for things to settle\ndown. If additional Soldiers show up because of the shooting then kill them\nbefore proceeding.\n\nAfter that then head to the large tree southwest of your position and use it\nas cover to pick off the tower Soldier. When you are finished with him then\nhead towards the bridge so you can take care of the Soldier by the Brother.\n\nIf he fires on you as you approach then sidestep left so you can get the left\nbrick bridge support between you and him. Stay back far enough so the foliage\ndoesn't interfere with your sight of the Soldier. Then slowly sidestep right\nand shoot at his head, with single shots, to pick him off so you don't risk\nkilling the Brother.\n\nIf he doesn't fire on you then stand by the brick bridge support on the right\nside. Then aim at his head and kill him with a quick burst. Once this Soldier\nis dead then the Brother is free and he will head back to the Village.\n\nEven though there is an R93 Sniper Rifle in the tower it is best to leave it\nalone and keep the M60. The M60 is best for what you need to do later.\n\nFrom here, follow the river northeast to the Village which is the grouping of\nsmall squares on the east side of the Map. As you get near the Village then\npull out the Holy Figure.\n\nIt is important to note that there is a bug that can occur if you talk to the\nChief *BEFORE* the freed Brother reaches him. If this happens then you won't\nbe able to talk to him again until you go all the way back to the bridge and\nback again. To prevent that extra work, head to the bridge just south of the\nVillage then stop and look north. You should see a small hut north of you.\n\nGo to the hut and go to its right and continue north to the fence and stop.\nLook northwest and you should see a large hut. The Chief should be standing\nabout twenty feet in front of this hut. Wait for his Brother to appear near\nthe Chief before approaching him.\n\nTalk to the Chief and he will help you by telling you of the passage to the\nDrug Lord. He will also tell you of the sacred grounds and to not upset their\ngod. When you get inside then\nhead to a tent directly southeast of the Mansion.\n\nWhen you get close to the Mansion then you will see a cutscene of Pablo\nenjoying himself (and a Bomb on his desk which you need to destroy the\nLaboratory). When you get inside the tent then you will find a Minigun and\nfour clips of Machinegun Ammo. Don't bother with the Minigun. Unlike with the\nM60 you will be fired upon if you are seen carrying it so leave this weapon\nalone.\n\nGet the Machinegun Ammo (for your M60) then proceed to the Mansion. The next\nstep is to clear the entire Mansion of Soldiers so you can proceed with the\nassassination of Pablo with no resistance. However, they need to be cleared\nin a specific order to prevent interference as you dispose of them.\n\nHead to the front door and past the Soldiers (who will warn you). But don't\ngo through the doors. Instead turn left and proceed forward on the wooden\nwalkway and enter the first door you come to on your right. Inside you will\nsee a stationary Soldier and another door that leads further inside the\nMansion.\n\nGet behind him and Knife him. Then drop your M60 and drag him to the corner\nfurther from the door so he isn't seen by the others as you open the interior\ndoor. Go through the next door and you should see another stationary Soldier\nin front of you and another one on the opposite side of the dividing wall\nnext to him. Go to the one on the other side of the wall (and standing next\nto the door leading outside) and Knife him.\n\nNow go past the other Soldier who is looking around to see what is going on.\nHe is too skittish to do anything to him so leave him alone for now. Follow\nthe hallway past the double doors and through the single door at the end.\nInside is another stationary Soldier standing by a large pot (this room is\nthe Kitchen).\n\nKnife him then highlight your Knife, head to the door leading outside, and\nopen it. Outside is another stationary Soldier. The idea is to let him see\nthe body so he will run inside. When he runs inside to investigate the dead\nbody then go up behind him and Slash him. After that then head back into the\nhallway and to the stationary Soldier you left behind who has now calmed\ndown. Knife him the drag his body partway into the hallway.\n\nHighlight your Knife then open the nearby double doors and go back to the\nbody. Inside this room is a pair of Soldiers. One of them will see the body\nand run to it. Slash him quickly when he stops. Then go through the double\ndoors and Knife the remaining Soldier.\n\nNow go back into the Kitchen and turn right when you go through the door to\nfind another door. Go through it and you will be in the Lobby and you should\nsee a Soldier in front of you.\n\nDo *NOT* kill him. There is another one above you to the right who is\nguarding Pablo's office who will fire on you if you kill this Soldier.\nInstead, turn left and proceed forward a few steps to find another door which\nis next to the door you just came through. Go into this room to find another\nSoldier. Knife him then leave.\n\nWhen you exit the room then turn left to find the front doors. At the front\ndoors you will see two sets of stairs. Go up the set on your left and you\nshould see two doors. Go through the one furthest from you and you should\nenter the Bathroom.\n\nInside is another Soldier but he is dressed in a Khaki Outfit. He is one of\ntwo Soldiers in the Mansion dressed this way. You need to have one later so\nyou can safely enter the Laboratory. Only a khaki uniformed person can go\nthere. However, I'm just going to Knife this one and drag his body in the\ncorner so he isn't seen by the Soldier by Pablo's office. Then leave the\nBathroom and go through the door near the top of the stairs.\n\nInside you will see a Ladder leading to the upper level of the Mansion. Here\nyou will find another Soldier. Knife him then leave the room and go down the\nstairs. After going down the stairs then go up the next set and through the\nfirst door you come to and close it when you enter the room. Here you will\nfind the other khaki uniformed Soldier.\n\nFor now, Knife him and leave the body be. Then grab the Beretta 92SD and all\nof the Pistol Ammo. Then go through the next door that leads into the next\nroom. Here you will find another Soldier. Knife him the drag the body to the\nwindow. Then highlight your Knife and open the door to the upper walkway in\nthe Lobby.\n\nEventually the Soldier by Pablo's office will see the body and run to\ninvestigate. Close the door and Knife him. Then go back downstairs and Knife\nthe Soldier in the Lobby. Now go to the front doors. It is time to remove the\nSoldiers outside.\n\nStand to the left of the doors and open them. Aim your cursor at the head of\nthe Soldier you see. If the doors close on you then get close enough again to\nopen them.\n\nAfter you aim at his head then quickly whip out the Silenced Beretta and kill\nhim with a few shots then Holster the weapon and close the doors (if you\ncan). Wait for the other one to find the body and return to his post. Then\nopen the doors and sidestep right to see him, aim at his head, then bring out\nthe Silenced Beretta and kill him.\n\nAt this point I have now removed all of the Soldiers inside and outside of\nthe Mansion. Now go back and retrieve the M60 and head to Pablo's office.\nOpen the doors and Pablo will taunt you which begins the fight. Pablo will\nthen grab his M60 and go to various places within his office to fire at you.\n\nWhen the fight begins then immediately sidestep left so you are out of the\ndoorway. Then rotate, and gently sidestep, to your right so you can see a\nstack of three crates. What you want to do is to aim at the wall corner to\nthe left of the top crate. Eventually Pablo will come to this point and fire\na burst when he does.\n\nHowever, because of the drugs he snorted he will be pretty tough and will\ntaunt you. After he taunts you then sidestep left to get out of his line of\nfire and move the camera right to see him. When he leaves that position then\nrotate and sidestep right and aim at the wall corner again. Fire another\nburst at Pablo when he returns and initiate another taunt.\n\nThen sidestep left to get out of his line of fire and repeat the whole\nprocess until you finally kill him.\n\nThen go into Pablo's office where you can find an M60, a Letter from Prof,\nand the Bomb. Get the Bomb then go and grab a Khaki Outfit from one of the\ndead Soldiers on the upper floor. Then exit the Mansion through the front\ndoors and head west to the Laboratory. When you get to the Laboratory grounds\nthen go to the east side and past the trio of Soldiers. Go through the door\nand then through the next one (and close it).\n\nHere you will see a bunch of khaki Soldiers but most of them will be on the\nwest side and with their backs to you. There is one here on the east side\nthat you can, and should, Knife. After Knifing him then remain in Sneak Mode.\n\nCarefully go left and to the Box of Explosives. When you get close enough\nthen pull out the Bomb and Place Bomb. Then Sneak your way back to the door\nnear the dead Soldier, go through it, and close it before you go through the\nnext one. From here, head back out of the area and to the tent closest to the\nHangar so the others can't see you. Then pull out the Remote Detonator and\ndetonate the Bomb to complete another objective.\n\nIt is *VERY* important to note is that, if you are using Windows XP, that the\ngame may crash when it tries to load up the cutscene of the exploding lab. It\nhappened to me about four times during multiple attempts but this happens\ninfrequently. But it will *DEFINITELY* crash if you detonate the Bomb with\nyou still inside the Laboratory.\n\nAfter the cutscene is finished then run to the Hangar and enter it. There are\nthree Soldiers stationed by the plane but won't become hostile unless you\nhang around too long inside the Hangar. When you see the plane then quickly\nrun to and enter it before they get hostile to successfully complete this\nmission and leave Columbia.\n\nNow onto the next Target.....\n\n \/=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=\\\n \/=========================================================================\\\n| >HTM3. But you don't want to do that
quite yet at this point.

The Dobermans can hurt you even if you brought Body Armor with you so you
should use the fence to your advantage to help keep them at a distance. I
should also point put that they can go through the standard closed gates
nearby so keep that in mind.

The Uzis that you get from the dead gang members are very inaccurate from a
distance so it is best to use the Silenced MP5 if you wish to use the fence
as a shield. You don't need to kill all of the Dobermans. Just the ones
closest to the stairs on one side of the Warehouse. But, if the Dobermans are
guarding Pakhuis #13, then there is something else you should do first before
trying to get rid of them, especially if you did not bring a Silenced MP5.

Just northwest of Track Switch #2 is a trio of Gang Members standing around a
fire. He will then start to head towards your position.
Stay just inside the Warehouse until he reaches the top floor then step back
out, sidestep right, and aim left about 45 degrees through the door.

When he comes to the door then kill him and he will drop against the
cardboard boxes beyond the door. If you looked straight through the door
instead of the 45 degree angle then you would find a gap between the boxes
that you can actually knock people through when you shoot them and they would
land on the wooden boxes on the ground floor.

I do not want to knock them to the ground floor for reasons explained a
little later. Sometimes they can come through the door and join you on the
platform outside. But this will cause no problems if you kill them here.

Keep an eye on your Uzi ammo. You don't want to run out of ammo in a close
firefight. When you kill a Gang Member then grab his Uzi before going after
another one. When you spot the one guarding the Briefcase then shoot at his
feet to lure him so you can kill him.

After killing all six of them then you will get a notice that Ivan will
arrive in three minutes. You would need to hide all of the bodies before he
arrives or he will run if he sees any.

By killing all of the Gang Members on or by the stairs then you don't need to
worry about that since you have already \"pre-hidden\" the bodies. If by any
chance you knock any of them down to the ground floor then quickly move him
behind a nearby crate.

Then all you need to do is Change Clothes (to look like a Gang Member), go to
the Briefcase, pull out the GPS Transmitter, and pick up the Briefcase so you
can attach the Transmitter. When you get to the gate then you will find that as long as you are
sticking with the patrolling Guard then the gate Guards will not bother you.

After going through this first gate then angle northeast to find another
guarded gate. Find another patrolling Guard and do the same thing here. After
going through that gate then go northeast then east past the corner of the
fence and to another guarded gate that leads south. Once again, use another
patrolling Guard to make your way through.

At this point you can now head south and towards the Ship. I still need to go
to the Weapons Depot but I am going to clear out some Guards first. Head
south toward the Warehouses (Pakhuis #13, Pakhuis #14). At the east side of
the north Warehouse is a Limo with a stationary Guard. Stay far away from
him.

Instead, head to the northeast corner of the north Warehouse (Pakhuis #13)
and wait for a patrolling Guard to come by. After he turns the corner then
wait until for him to go about twenty feet then get up behind him and Slash
him then back a few feet away from the body.

Another patrolling Guard will come around the corner and see the body. He
will run toward it to investigate then Slash him when he stops by it. From
here, head to the east side of the south Warehouse (Pakhuis #14). Here you
will find another patrolling Guard.

Follow him and, and when he turns the southeast corner, wait for him to go
about twenty feet then Slash him. Go back to the northeast corner of the
warehouse and wait for another patrolling Guard. Follow him then Slash him
just before he gets to the southeast corner. The Guard by the limo will be
too far away to see what you are doing.

Now *RUN* to the Limo. When you get close enough then you will be warned by
the Guard. The reason to do this is to get him turned so you can have easier
access to his backside. Back away a few feet from the Limo, get into Sneak
Mode, then go around the other side of the Limo and behind him. Then Knife
him and take his M16A2.

With all of the Guards cleared from this immediate area it is time to head to
the Weapons Depot.

Head north until you find the east-west tracks and turn east. Eventually you
will come to another guarded gate. Use the patrolling Guard to get through
this one and stick behind him so you can go through the next one after this.
After going through this gate then look to your left to find a rooftop Guard.
This info is useful for later.

Now run east along the tracks and turn south with them. There are Dobermans
stationed at the west side of the two Warehouses you will go past but you are
too far away to alert them. However, just past the second Warehouse, is a
train platform where a Doberman is posted. Kill it with the M16A2 and
proceed.

Eventually you will get to the Weapons Depot but there is another Doberman
posted just south of it. Kill it then enter the truck to find all sorts of
weaponry.

Inside you will find a MP5SD, a Franchi PA3 Shotgun, a Car Bomb, a Beretta
92SD, a Beretta 92, a Hardballer, a WA2000 Sniper, and Sniper Ammo. Grab the
WA2000 Sniper, Sniper Ammo (which will give you a total of eighteen rounds),
the MP5SD, and the Car Bomb.

The Car Bomb is different than the one you used earlier in the game. This one
is ignition based, meaning that it explodes when the victim tries to start
the vehicle. This is the weapon that I will use against Boris.

And, by acquiring these weapons, then you will also change one important
factor of this mission. The Guards that patrol through the guarded gates will
no longer do so. They will either become stationary Guards near certain
buildings or disappear.

So now you can't use the patrolling Guards to go through the guarded gates
since they will no longer exist. You must now kill your way through. This is
why you need to take the Sniper Rifle.

After acquiring these weapons then head to the entrance of the truck and zoom
in on the Warehouse. You will find a stationary Guard standing at the south
side of this Warehouse (or you will see him running to this position).

It may be a good idea to kill him before he finds the dead Doberman nearby.
Either snipe him with the Sniper Rifle or drop it then run up to him, Knife
him, and then run back to the truck to get the Sniper Rifle.

From the Weapons Depot, head back to the tracks and proceed north all the way
to the fence then turn west. Stop after a few steps then zoom on the guarded
gate ahead. If you can't see the Guards because of the darkness then get a
little closer and try again. Continue this until you can see the Guards when
you zoom in.

Pop the first Guard then kill the second before he either gets close enough
to confront you or run away to warn Boris. After that then rotate right until
you find a stationary Guard then nail him.

Remember that rooftop Guard I mentioned earlier? You need to kill him too but
only his head can be seen from your current position. Find him and pop him.
After this then go over to the stationary Guard you just killed and pick up
his MP5 then head back to the gate and stop just a few feet away from it.

Use the Sniper Rifle to zoom in on the two Guards at the next gate beyond and
kill them both quickly. Then angle right and up to kill another rooftop
Guard. Even though he is far away he can still see what is going on and will
fire on you if you go near the second gate so it is important to get rid of
him.

After killing him then drop the Sniper Rifle. You will no longer need it for
the rest of this mission.

Go through both gates and head back towards the Limo. Pull out the Car Bomb
and plant it. This will take care of Boris later. After planting the Car Bomb
then head to the Ship. At the south end of the Ship is the stairs leading up
but it is guarded and you cannot go up them dressed as a Guard. You need to
be disguised as a Sailor.

Thankfully, just to the south at the corner is a Sailor. Get up behind him
and Sneak him then drag his body just a few feet backwards and Change
Clothes. From here, head up the stairs and to the deck.

When you get up onto the Ship you do not want to cause any kind of trouble or
Boris will be warned and he will activate the Nuke and then escape before you
can get into position to disarm it plus you will have to fight a lot of
people to get where you need to go.

From the top of the stairs, turn right and head north. Go through the first
door that appears on your left then go down the nearby set of stairs. When
you get to the bottom then you will see a door ahead of you and another set
of stairs leading down to the right of the door. Go down these stairs and
turn left.

Continue forward and enter the *SECOND* door, that should be to your right,
that you come to. Then turn the corner then head to the next one. Here you
will find another Sailor just standing around. He is dressed differently than
the others. He works in the Engine Room and you should just go up behind him
and Knife him.

If you don't kill him now then he will interfere with the Ship's engine
preventing you from leaving near the end of the mission and you will have go
back down and deal with him. Killing him now will save you that hassle.

After doing that then go back through the door and turn right. Continue
forward until you get to the wall then turn left again and go through the
next door. After you go through this door then turn left again to find the
stairs that lead down to the Engine Room area where the Nuke is being kept.

When you get to the Engine Room itself then go down the first set of stairs
and look left to find another Sailor. He is dressed just like the one you
just killed. Now get behind him and Knife him then bring out an *UNSILENCED*
MP5 and aim and the next Sailor just ahead of you. Even though he is nearby
he didn't see you kill his friend because of the steam.

Kill the Sailor with the MP5. Because of the noise someone will go and warn
Boris which is okay because at this point I *WANT* to have him warned. When
he gets warned then he will activate the Nuke and make a run for his
booby-trapped limo. But the Nuke is in the next room on this deck and I can
disarm it almost as soon as he activates it.

After killing this Sailor then get close enough to kill Ivan and carefully go
into the next room and kill the Sailor there (he will be to your left as you
creep up the stairs). Then Disarm the nearby Nuke which will take care of one
objective then wait for Boris to activate the Car Bomb which will take care
of another objective.

Now all that is left is to start up the Ship and sail out.

It should be noted that there is a Minigun in one corner of the Nuke room
but, since all of the Sailors have fled the Ship at this point, it is pretty
much useless.

From here, head back out of the Engine Room and go back through the door you
came through. When you get to the next corner then turn right 180 degrees and
go up the stairs.

When you get to the next deck then go up the next set of stairs, which should
be to your left, and turn right 180 degrees when you get to the top. Proceed
forward and go up the next set of stairs then angle southeast until you reach
a short hallway. Go south into this hallway and go through the door that
leads back outside.

From here, turn right, follow the path, and go up the next set of stairs. At
the top, turn right 180 degrees and you will see the door leading into the
control center. Before entering, pull out your Knife, open the door, then
Knife the Captain who is just standing there. Then that person will call up the
SWAT. However, the SWAT won't actually appear until you confront Dr. Kovacs
so you have plenty of time to explore the building.

Unfortunately, most of the building is sealed off by locked doors. The key to
open them can only be found in Dr. Kovacs' office. After grabbing the Uzi
then head back down to the Lobby. After
you pick up the vest then head back to the gate but *DON'T* go through it.
Aim through the gate, spin the barrel, and wait.

While you were doing all of this another Clone was released and has been
wandering the hallways looking for you. You will eventually see him in the
hallway but he won't fire on you. But that doesn't mean that
they can't do serious damage to you even with the Body Armor. Still, the gate
serves as a kind of shield that will help you.
