In total, the PlayStation 5 version has 36 trophies, while the Xbox version has 35 achievements, and they cover practically every dimension of the experience: the complete narrative, the collectibles hidden throughout the sectors, the combat challenges that demand creativity, the activities in the Shelter, the post-game trophies, and those that simply ask you to explore the world with curiosity. The game’s platinum trophy is simply called Pragmata, and it is unlocked automatically when you earn all the other 35 trophies, without any additional conditions.

Before discussing each trophy individually, it’s important to understand the game’s overall structure so you can plan your journey intelligently. Pragmata is divided into five main sectors, each with its own areas, collectibles, special enemies, and bosses. These sectors are the Solar Power Plant, the Mass Production Set, Terra Dome, the Lunum Mines, and Central Harbor. In addition to these, there are more linear narrative areas that connect the sectors. After completing the game for the first time, you unlock the Unknown Signal mode and the Lunatic difficulty, which are essential for obtaining the post-game trophies. The general estimate for getting the platinum trophy is 25 to 30 hours, depending on how much you explore during the first playthrough.

The good news is that the vast majority of trophies are unmissable, meaning you can earn them even after finishing the story. The Unknown Signal mode acts as a post-game hub that allows you to access already completed sectors and finish what you left behind. That said, there is one specific trophy that must be earned during the main campaign, before reaching the game’s end, and that is Last Stop: My Pocket. We’ll talk about it in more detail later, but be aware that you will need to constantly interact with the Shelter’s printer to avoid missing the opportunity.

HISTORY TROPHIES

The nine narrative trophies in Pragmata are all guaranteed for any player who completes the main campaign. None of them can be missed, none require special actions outside the main path, and all appear organically as you progress through the game’s sectors. They are listed here in the order they appear during the journey, which can help you understand where you are in the story and how much is left to complete.

The Rendezvous trophy is the first of all and marks the completion of the game’s prologue. The prologue serves as an introduction to the universe of Pragmata, introducing the central characters and establishing the tone of the narrative. As soon as the final scene of the prologue ends, the trophy appears on the screen. No special action is required, just follow the events until the end of this introductory stage.

Soon after, as you progress through the first sectors of the game, you reach the Solar Power Plant. Upon completing the final area of this sector, called The Esplanade, where the objective is to restore the power supply, the Power Trip trophy is unlocked. This stage also serves as a first real test of the game’s combat and hacking mechanics, so take the opportunity to familiarize yourself with everything before moving on.

The Best Lunar Guide trophy, humorously named in reference to the character Cabin, is earned by completing the Communications Tower, the final area of the Mass Production Set. In this stage, you face some of the most elaborate platforming and combat challenges of the first half of the game, and the reward at the end is both narrative and in the form of a trophy.

Entering Terra Dome, the game reveals one of its most important revelations. Upon reaching the upper floor of the Center Hall and finding the character imprisoned there, the “Another Pragmata” trophy is unlocked. This moment is a turning point in the narrative and happens completely automatically, without any additional action on your part other than simply getting there.

Still within Terra Dome, upon completing the Terrarium area and obtaining the Interrupt Code, which is crucial for advancing the story, the Trusted Memory trophy will appear. This area is one of the most visually impressive in the game and is also where you’ll find some of the most exciting REMs in the narrative, so take your time to explore it calmly before proceeding.

In the Lunum Mines, upon reaching the Nexus Tower and completing this final area of the sector, the Duty Revealed trophy is yours. The Lunum Mines represent a considerable jump in combat difficulty, especially since Defender-type enemies appear for the first time in this sector, so come prepared.

The final three trophies of the main campaign appear in the final stretch of the game. Awakening is earned by completing the Experimental Pragmatics area, which is a narratively intense and combat-demanding section. Next, Sentinel Invasion is unlocked by defeating the Sentinel enemy in the Lunafilament Laboratory, within Central Harbor, which is the final sector of the game. Lastly, Our Promise is the trophy that confirms you have finished Pragmata on any difficulty level, ending the main campaign and opening the doors to post-game content.

Post-game trophies

Upon completing the main campaign for the first time, the game saves a special completion file and offers you three possible paths from there: the Unknown Signal mode, which is the main post-game content; New Game Plus, which is not required for the platinum trophy; and a new save on Lunatic difficulty, which is necessary for one of the game’s most challenging trophies. The three post-game trophies cover two of these paths.

The Unknown Signal mode is accessed from the completion save and takes you to an area called the Hidden Chamber. There, you will find ten special missions distributed throughout the game’s sectors, each representing an intensified version of encounters you have already experienced in the main campaign. These missions are locked until you reach 100% completion in the corresponding sector, so if you haven’t collected everything during the campaign, you will need to complete the collectibles before accessing each special mission.

The Lunar Challenge trophy is earned by completing any one of these ten special missions within the Unknown Signal. It doesn’t matter which one you choose first; simply completing one will unlock the trophy. The missions involve facing more powerful versions of bosses and minibosses you’ve encountered before, with more health, more aggressive attacks, and less room for error. Use everything you’ve learned throughout the main campaign and don’t hesitate to review the mechanics of each enemy before engaging in combat.

The “Right Guy for the Job” trophy, in turn, requires you to complete the Signal Unknown mode in its entirety. This means completing all ten special missions and also facing the mode’s final boss, which is a rematch against the game’s main antagonist in a dramatically more difficult version. There’s a crucial detail here that many players overlook: to access the Signal Unknown final boss, you must first complete all ten special missions, as this grants you a specific item that must be equipped before entering the final confrontation. If you try to access the final boss without this item, you simply won’t be able to progress in the fight. With the item in hand and the equipment prepared, the final combat is challenging but fully achievable if you master the offensive hacking mechanics.

Lunar Supremacy is undoubtedly the most demanding trophy on the entire list. It requires you to complete the entire Pragmata campaign, from beginning to end, on Lunatic difficulty. This difficulty is not accessible through New Game Plus; you need to start a completely new save and play the entire campaign again from scratch. In this setting, enemies have significantly more health points and deal considerably more damage, turning even routine encounters into situations that demand careful planning.

To face the Lunatic without excessive suffering, there are some strategies that make a real difference. Always prioritize unlocking Diana’s Offensive Mode as soon as possible, as it’s the most powerful tool in the game and allows you to significantly amplify hacking damage. Use the special combo attack, activated by pressing L3 and R3 simultaneously, whenever the meter is full, especially during boss fights. Manage your Lunafilament resources carefully, investing in the Shelter printer as soon as new items become available. Against bosses, patience is more valuable than aggression, so learn their attack patterns before attempting to inflict damage. Upon completing the game on Lunatic, you also automatically earn the Our Promise trophy, if you haven’t already.

COLLECTIBLE TROPHIES

Seven trophies are tied to collecting and interacting with collectibles scattered across the map. This group of trophies is one of the most challenging in terms of requiring detailed exploration, but none of them are permanently missable, thanks to the Unknown Signal mode which allows you to return to any sector after the end of the campaign.

The Cradle Explorer trophy is unlocked when you achieve 100% completion in any of the five main sectors. To fully complete a sector, you need to perform a series of tasks within it: find all REMs, shoot all Mini Cabins, open all normal chests, including those inside Red Zones, activate all data terminals, and defeat all special Elite enemy encounters that appear on the sector map. The game shows the percentage progress of each sector on the map, making it much easier to identify what’s missing. You’ll likely earn this trophy while aiming for 100% completion in all sectors for the Unknown Signal, so don’t worry about focusing on a single sector right away.

The trophies related to REMs, which are holographic Memories of Earth scattered throughout the environments, work in two stages. “Is it for Me?” is the simpler of the two: just collect any REM during your exploration and deliver it to Diana at the Shelter. She will accept the gift and react enthusiastically, unlocking the trophy immediately. “Extraordinary Replication,” on the other hand, is more laborious: it requires you to complete an entire series of REMs and place them all on the Shelter’s shelf, forming a cohesive set. Each series is composed of multiple memories that are part of the same story, and you need to find all parts of at least one of these stories to unlock the trophy. REMs are usually located in places a little off the main path, often behind holographic walls or in less obvious alleys, so explore carefully.

For the Mini Cabins, the small collectible figures attached to walls and surfaces throughout the levels, there are two trophies that follow a natural progression. “Well Found!” is unlocked by shooting any Mini Cabin for the first time, so you’ll likely earn it early in your exploration as soon as the cabin shooting tutorial appears. “Digital Mini Hunter,” on the other hand, requires you to shoot absolutely every Mini Cabin in the game. They are distributed throughout all sectors, sometimes in very easy-to-spot locations and other times well hidden behind obstacles or at unusual angles. The game map doesn’t indicate the locations of the Mini Cabins you haven’t yet found, so methodical exploration of each corridor and room is the only guaranteed way to avoid missing any.

The Escapist trophy requires you to unlock all the escape hatches present in the game. These hatches are special passages that connect parts of the sectors and are usually locked until you find the correct mechanism or panel nearby. Like the Mini Cabins, they are scattered throughout the sectors and require attention during exploration. Pay attention to walls with different markings and subtle sounds that indicate the presence of a nearby hatch.

The Last Stop: My Pocket trophy is the only one in the collectibles category that can be missed if you’re not organized during the main campaign. It requires you to print, using the Shelter’s printer, all available weapons, all hacking nodes, and all obtainable skills throughout the story. The critical detail is that some of these items only become available for printing when the Shelter reaches certain evolution levels, and the Shelter stops evolving when you reach the end of the campaign. Therefore, you need to ensure you’ve printed everything before the point of no return.

Weapons and hacking nodes often appear along the main path, usually with a “New” notice indicating you haven’t tried them yet, but to access all of them you also need to complete the Cabin Stamp Sheets, as some unlock exclusive items. Special abilities and modes are unlocked exclusively through the Shelter’s printer as it levels up, so every time you return to the Shelter after completing a sector, check if there’s anything new available to print. For reference, the complete set that unlocks the trophy includes the following categories: weapons such as the Grip Gun, Pulse Carbine, Shockwave Gun, Charge Piercer, Photon Laser, Homing Missiles, Stasis Net, Riot Blaster, and Sticky Bombs; hacking nodes such as Code Generator, Hacking Mines, Decoy Generator, Impact Barrier, Drone Hive, Decode, Multihack, Freeze, Confuse, Expose, Heat, Drain, and Chain; and skills such as Offense Mode, Strike Mode, Hybrid Mode, Combust Mode, Boost Mode, Auto-hacking, Bot Scan, Object Scan, Critical Shot, Fast Moves and EC Thrusters.

SHELTER TROPHIES

The Shelter is the central hub of Pragmata, a space where the protagonist returns between missions and where some of the game’s most touching interactions take place, especially with the character Diana. Six trophies are directly linked to the activities performed in this space, ranging from simple conversations with Diana to the intense challenges of training simulations.

Small Talk is the most accessible trophy in the entire game: simply approach Diana in the Shelter and start a conversation with her for the first time to unlock it. She will be available to talk to from the moment the Shelter becomes accessible, early in the game. This trophy serves as an invitation for you to maintain regular contact with her, as subsequent interactions unlock other, more elaborate trophies.

The “Thank You for Everything” trophy is earned when Diana gives you a drawing she made. This happens progressively: the more you talk to her and give her REMs as gifts, the more comfortable she feels and the more she reciprocates the kindness. At some point after a few gift exchanges, she will give you a drawing, and that’s exactly when the trophy appears. There isn’t an exact number of REMs required to trigger it, so continue interacting with her regularly when you return from each sector.

The “Found It!” trophy is one of the most charming in the game and involves a game of hide-and-seek with Diana inside the Bunker. For this option to appear, you first need to have interacted with her extensively and given her a sufficient amount of REMs. When the option to play appears in the dialogue, accept it, and Diana will hide somewhere in the Bunker while you have a limited time to find her. The Bunker isn’t a huge space, but there are some hiding places she uses more frequently, such as behind the large controller consoles, between the boxes near the printer, and in the darkest corners of the structure. Pay attention to the giggling sounds she makes periodically, as these sounds act as directional clues to her location. Finding her within the time limit for the first time guarantees the trophy.

The Simulation Noob and Simulation Ace trophies are related to the Cabin Training Simulations, a challenge mode accessible in the Bunker after completing the Mass Production Set. There are 30 simulations in total, each with a main objective and optional secondary objectives. For the Simulation Noob trophy, you need to complete the main objective of any one of them, which is fairly achievable even in the first simulations available. The Simulation Ace trophy requires you to complete the main objective of all 30 simulations, which represents a considerable challenge, especially in the higher-numbered simulations, which are progressively more difficult.

Simulations are unlocked as you progress through the campaign and collect Cabin stickers in the sectors, so the number of simulations available to you will increase throughout the game. An efficient strategy is to leave all simulations for the post-game, when you will already have all weapons, abilities, and hacking nodes unlocked, making any simulation much more manageable than if you tried during the campaign with a limited arsenal. Pure combat simulations tend to be more straightforward, while hacking simulations require you to understand enemy patterns well to optimize damage within the available time.

The Bingo of Bingos trophy is obtained by completing a Cabin Stamp Card. These cards function as a parallel progression system, where each square on the card represents a specific challenge you need to complete, such as defeating all enemies in an arena in under a minute, completing a section without taking damage, or using a specific weapon to eliminate a certain type of enemy. The Cabin coins that fill these squares are mainly obtained by performing well in combat encounters scattered throughout the sectors, especially in arenas where the game clearly indicates that you are being evaluated. Upon completing a full card, the trophy is yours, and the Cabin also rewards you with new items unlocked at the Shelter printer.

COMBAT TROPHIES

Pragmata features a combat system that combines third-person action with strategic hacking mechanics, and the five combat trophies explore this duality well. Each one requires you to understand and apply specific parts of this system, making them both a challenge and a great opportunity to learn how to use the game’s tools more efficiently.

The trophy “OVER 6,000!” requires you to deal at least 6,000 points of damage with shots in a single second of gameplay. That sounds intimidating, but there’s a fairly reliable way to achieve it without relying on random situations during the campaign. Access Training Simulation number 7, called Project Pierce. You start this simulation already equipped with the Charge Piercer, a penetrating weapon capable of piercing multiple enemies in a straight line. Right in front of you, a row of enemies called Watchers will be perfectly aligned. Charge the Charge Piercer to its maximum capacity and release it so that the projectile pierces all the enemies in the row simultaneously. The accumulated damage to all of them at the same instant should be enough to exceed 6,000 points and unlock the trophy. If for some reason it doesn’t work on the first try, adjust the angle to ensure that all enemies are in the line of fire. This trophy can also be earned naturally during the final boss fight, especially if you accumulate status effects like Expose or Heat before firing, or if you take advantage of an Overkill window to concentrate all your attacks into a single second, but simulation is the most controlled and reliable method.

The “Who Needs Guns?!” trophy is earned by dealing 3,000 hacking damage in a single hacking action without interrupting it. The ideal tool for this is Diana’s Offensive Mode, which amplifies the damage dealt during hacks. The process works like this: initiate a hack on an enemy to expose them, leaving them vulnerable to physical attacks while the hack is in progress. Then, initiate a second hack, this time navigating through as many attack nodes as possible within the hacking grid, but don’t end the hack when you reach the final node. While the hack is still active and suspended, fire all your weapons at the enemy. Each shot hits the enemy and simultaneously increases the damage counter visible above the hacking grid. Continue firing until this counter exceeds 3,000 points, and only then end the hack. The trophy appears immediately. This trophy also tends to appear organically during the final boss fight, especially if you use this technique when the boss is most vulnerable.

The Fatal Trio trophy requires you to eliminate three enemies simultaneously using a specific piece of equipment in the environment called the LIM Recycler, which are industrial machines that fire laser beams in a defined area when activated by a hack on a nearby panel. These machines appear in two locations: the LIM Recycling Complex, within the Mass Production Set, and the Lunafilament Lab, within Central Harbor. The strategy is to lure at least three enemies into the Recycler’s area of effect before activating the panel. Shielded enemies can survive the first shot, so avoid using them as part of the trio. A valuable tip is to use a weapon like the Stasis Net to slow down enemies while you maneuver them into the correct position before hacking the panel. Training Simulation number 10 is also a controlled environment where this situation can be reproduced, making it a viable alternative if you have difficulty replicating the feat in the game’s natural areas.

The Cybernetic Sweep trophy requires you to use Diana’s Cleanse ability to purify three or more enemies infected with dead filament simultaneously. This ability is unlocked during the Experimental Pragmatics area, so you can’t attempt this trophy before reaching that part of the campaign. Central Harbor is the ideal sector to earn this trophy, as it’s where infected enemies appear in greater numbers and in more clustered groups. To ensure Cleanse hits three or more enemies simultaneously, wait until a group of them is close enough to each other and charge Cleanse to maximum before releasing it. Sector 6 of Central Harbor is especially favorable for this, as the infected enemies in this area tend to move together, making it much easier to synchronize the attack.

The “Can I Borrow That?” trophy is earned by confusing a Defender enemy using the Confusion Hack Node and then exploiting the enemy’s confusion to steal their shield. Defenders are energy shield enemies that first appear in the Lunum Mines and continue to appear in Central Harbor. To unlock the Confusion node, you need to print it at the Shelter printer when it’s at Level 2, using 400 Lunafilament. With the node in hand, find a Defender with their shield activated and apply the Confusion hack to them. While confused, the Defender is vulnerable and their shield can be stolen. Exit hatch number 3 inside the Lunum Mines is a good landmark to find this enemy in a controlled situation, away from other enemies that might interfere.

VARIOUS TROPHIES

The five trophies that conclude the list are those that don’t perfectly fit into any of the previous categories, but are equally essential for completing the platinum trophy. Each one has its own nuances and deserves special attention.

The “Wall? What Wall?” trophy is unlocked by encountering any holographic wall in the game. These walls are illusions created to hide secret passages, collectibles, or alternate alleys that the game doesn’t directly indicate on the map. They have a slightly different visual appearance from real walls, with a texture that tends to subtly tremble or flicker depending on the viewing angle. If you’re exploring each sector aiming for 100% completion, you’ll inevitably stumble upon one of these holographic walls naturally, as many REMs and other collectibles are hidden behind them. The trophy is unlocked the first time you pass through one.

The Red Zone, Good Zone! trophy is earned by clearing and securing control of a Red Zone. These zones are especially dangerous areas within each sector, marked in red on the map and blocked by some kind of barrier that requires a specific action to remove, such as hacking a panel or defeating all enemies in the area. Inside Red Zones you usually find more valuable rewards, including chests with rare materials and sometimes Mini Cabins or REMs. To secure control of a Red Zone, eliminate all enemies present and complete the objective that the area requires. The first time you do this, the trophy is yours.

The “Jewel on the Shelf” trophy requires you to apply at least one upgrade to a weapon using the rare material called Pure Lunum. This material is obtained in specific locations within sectors, usually as a reward for completing more difficult challenges or opening chests within Red Zones. The upgrade is applied in the weapon management screen inside the Safe House, where each weapon has a set of available upgrades that cost different amounts of Lunafilament and Pure Lunum. You don’t need to upgrade any weapon to its maximum level; simply applying a single upgrade that uses Pure Lunum as an ingredient is enough to unlock the trophy.

The “You Can’t Escape Me” trophy is one of the most challenging on the list and requires both patience and skill. Sweeper Bots are small, bright blue robots that roam certain areas of the sectors. As soon as they detect your presence, they shoot off at top speed in the opposite direction, trying to escape. To defeat them, you need to chase them while simultaneously completing a hacking process, which is extremely difficult because the hack is long and complex, and the robots are remarkably fast. The best strategy is to use Stasis Net early in the chase to slow down the Sweeper Bot before initiating the hack, gaining precious time to navigate the nodes of the hacking process. When defeated, the Sweeper Bot drops a generous amount of Lunafilament as a reward. They can be found in three locations: in the Side Alley of the Mass Production Set, in the Commercial District of the Mass Production Set, and in the Orbital Elevator inside Central Port.

The Pulse of Courage trophy is earned by repelling the LunaDigger, a colossal excavation creature-like enemy, during your exploration of the Lunum Mines. This enemy appears at three different points throughout the sector: at the Mine Entrance, in the Crane Operation Yard, and at the Main Excavation Site. In each of these encounters, the LunaDigger will attack you, and you need to inflict enough damage to make it retreat and flee the confrontation. You don’t need to defeat it completely, just force it to retreat. The trophy is unlocked the first time you achieve this feat, regardless of which of the three locations it was. An important tip: don’t ignore these encounters hoping for a future opportunity, as the LunaDigger’s spawn is tied to the linear progression of the sector, and if you advance without confronting it, you may miss the opportunity at that specific point.

Pragmata is a game that rewards every player who decides to delve deep into everything it has to offer.
