At the beginning of the game, you will find yourself in your house in Pallet Town. The first thing you should do is go up to your room and interact with the PC to get a Potion. This can be useful in early battles. Then go down the stairs and leave the house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before heading to the Gym, it’s crucial to ensure that at least three of your Pok\u00e9mon are above level 10. If you’ve captured a Butterfree and it has learned the move Confusion, this will be a huge advantage. Go to the west end of town where there is a Snorlax blocking the way (which you will fight later). Use Cut to get past a small tree and follow the path to a house. There, you will receive HM02 (Fly).
