Options menu
When you press start outside of battle, you will have the following options:
USE – uses items, but only healing ones can be used. Here you can also place items in your vest’s “attachments”; These items can be used in battle, so it is always a good idea to put healing items and weapons in reserve.
KEY ITEM – displays a list of items that have different functions, such as opening doors, activating different devices, etc.
P. ENERGY – displays Aya’s magic. At the beginning, only pyrokinesis is available, but as you kill monsters, you gain experience, and this experience is used to activate other spells or evolve them to a higher level. To do this, you must select the desired spell and then two options will appear:
Revive – unlocks the desired magic for a certain amount of experience; Cancel – cancels this action.
When the spell is already activated, the option that appears in place of “revive” is “strength”, and then you can evolve it for a certain amount of experience. Therefore, I advise you not to leave any monsters behind, as the best spells require a very high amount of experience to acquire.
MAP – shows the map. Useless, just press SELECT.
OPTIONS – changes game settings.
Spells
Element | Name | Description |
---|---|---|
Fire | Pyrokinesis | Aya launches a fireball at the enemy, causing low damage at first, but when evolved at Lv3, there are three fireballs causing high damage, without a doubt one of the best spells in the game. |
Fire | combustion | Aya’s hand ignites and then a kind of fire whip hits enemies causing high damage, good to use on groups of slow enemies. |
Fire | Hell | Aya concentrates all her power and then the entire scenario turns into a true furnace, causing absurd damage to all enemies, it is the second best spell in the game, second only to life drain. To have this spell you need to have Pyrokinesis and Combustion at Lv 3. |
Water | Metabolism | Removes Aya’s negative statuses (blind, poison, confuse, paralysis, berserk), with a very low MP cost that is really very useful. |
Water | Healing | Recovers Aya’s HP, at the beginning it is preferable to use items, as magic is very expensive in MP, but as the game progresses it becomes indispensable. |
Water | Life Drain | The best spell in the game, Aya drains the HP of all surrounding enemies and uses it to recover her own HP. To have this spell you need to have Metabolism and Healing at Lv 3. |
Wind | Necrosis | The worst spell in the game, Aya launches an electrical discharge that causes very low damage to an enemy and can leave them with poison status, but the effect lasts a short time and even at Lv3 the damage caused is very low. Leave it to evolve for last. |
Wind | Plasma | Aya creates a blast of wind that deals low damage to all enemies nearby, excellent against flying enemies such as bats and moths. |
Wind | Apobiosis | Aya concentrates her power and several rays take over the scene, causing reasonable damage to all enemies in addition to causing the paralysis status. Without a doubt the most useful of the wind spells. To have this spell you need to have Necrosis and Plasma at Lv 3. |
Earth | Antibody | Temporarily increases Aya’s defense against physical attacks, the higher the Lv, the longer the spell’s effect lasts. |
Earth | Energy Shot | Increases the power of shots, but I never saw any significant changes, so I never used it. |
Earth | Energy Ball | Aya’s third best spell, a ball of energy orbits around her, causing high damage to any enemy that comes close and the higher the Lv, the more energy balls appear. To have this spell you must have Antibody and Energy Shot at Lv 3. |
Complete Walkthrough (Step by Step Guide) of Parasite Eve II
MIST headquarters
You start in the training room. If you want, you can train a little and, depending on your performance, you can earn some items and money. When you no longer want it, choose the “that’s enough” option and leave the room.
Talk to Pierce and head to the store. Talk to Jodie and if you have some money, buy some healing items. Go out and examine some boxes with a blue cross at the bottom of the garage to get a recover 3. Near the gate, there is a phone, where you can save your progress. Save and talk to Pierce to head to AKRÓPOLIS TOWER.
Akropolis Tower
Talk to the guard at the entrance to gain access to the building. Inside, head through the next door and you will be in the main hall. There are a lot of bodies here, examine them all to get some items. Also get the building map. Behind the counter, there is a box containing infinite ammo for the pistol and you can pick it up whenever you need it.
Go to the door next to the phone. Follow until you find a hidden soldier, he will give you the key to the cafeteria. Now, go back to the main hall and go down the stairs on the right. You will see a guard get attacked by a monster. Finish him off and talk to the guard; he will end up dying.
Enter the coffee shop and you will see a woman sitting. Talk to her and watch a CG scene where she transforms into a disgusting monster. Stay away from him and shoot him. If necessary, use Pyrokinesis. When the monster falls, examine the table to get a magazine. Then examine the monster’s body to get a strange device. The monster will get up and attack Aya, but Rupert appears and saves her. After the conversation, head to the main hall and talk to Baldwin on the phone. Save, if you want, and head to the stairs on the left. Downstairs, open the iron gate. Following a few steps, notice a bloodstain on the floor; there is a passage here. Press X to go up a small step. Go forward to a box where there is a capsule. Go back and head to the blue door. Examine the yellow box on the wall to get the blue key. Enter the door ahead and examine the machine with colored lights. You will see two locks A and B. Use the blue key on lock A to activate the escalator. Examine the monitor and press all the buttons to see some scenes. Follow the escalator. When you get up there, be careful with the bats that will attack you. Use plasma against them. Examine the soldier’s body on the bench to get a vest. Equip it and go down the next ladder.
Finish off the monsters and examine the body of another soldier at the bottom to get another weapon. Don’t equip her now. Enter the chapel and you will see Rupert being attacked by a strange man. The man will run away. After the conversation, pick up the red key on the floor. Go in the next door and Aya will see an armed bomb, but she doesn’t know how to disarm it. Try to enter the door ahead, but it will be locked. Examine the door once more to get a black card; This card will be very important later on. Go to the room where you used the blue key and use the red key on lock B to deactivate the fountain. Go there and examine the bloodstain. You’ll see another dead soldier and can pick up the grenade launcher and some ammo. Now, head to the gate in front of the chapel. Examine the panel on the side and enter code 561 to activate the bridge. Go through the next door until you reach the phone. Equip yourself with the loaded grenade launcher and place in its attachments the weapon you picked up from the soldier’s body near the chapel, also loaded. In the rest of the spaces, place items to fill HP. It’s also good to have the metabolism magic activated. When you’re ready, save and head to the next door.
Examine the power boxes on the wall; There are three in total, and in the last one there is still a steam pipe nearby. Try going back and that strange man will appear. It’s time to face it:
BOSS: NO. 9
Watch out for the gas bomb he releases; It is easy to dodge, but if it hits you, use metabolism immediately, as the gas causes paralysis. When the battle starts, shoot him with a grenade launcher and run to the first corner. Reload the grenade launcher and switch to the other weapon. Head to the first power box and aim for it. Wait for him to get close and then shoot the power box to electrocute him and then unload the rest of the ammo on him. When it’s over, you can still use pyrosinesis to increase the damage. Go to the next turn, reload the weapon and switch to the grenade launcher. Give him one more shot and run to the next power box and repeat the same process as the previous one. Then run to the last power box and throw the last two grenades at it; then switch to the other weapon and repeat the powerbox process again. After shooting the box, also shoot the steam pipe; That should finish him off.
Head to the elevator and No. 9 will escape. What follows then is a spectacular CG scene in which the entire building explodes due to the bombs.
MIST headquarters
You will now talk to Baldwin and Rupert. Choose all the options and after the conversation go to the store and buy the rifle and some ammunition for it and, if you have any money left, buy healing items. If you want, you can even train your aim a little more. This is your last chance to do this, as you will not be coming back here again. When you’re ready, talk to Pierce to head to DRYFIELD.
Dryfield
Inside the trunk of your car there are several items, including some that you picked up in AKRÓPOLIS TOWER. You can pick them up whenever you want or keep other items you don’t need. There is also a box of infinite pistol ammo. Further ahead there is a telephone. The door next to him is locked. Save if you want and head to the entrance gate.
Entering, you will find a new enemy, it is a type of horse, very fast and strong, but a little dumb (not to say too much). To finish him off, stay close to a wall and when he runs to attack you, move out of the way and he will hit the wall head first and fall. When he’s on the ground, shoot him without mercy. After defeating him, examine rooms 1 and 2; There’s nothing here, just some monsters to gain experience. Bedrooms 3 and 4 are locked. Head to the door next to the ice machine.
Go to the end and examine the crates to find a recover 1. Don’t touch the well now or you will have a very unpleasant surprise. Enter the door near the well. On the other side there is an electronic door, but a car is blocking the way. Go to the bottom and move the levers to activate the panel in front of the door you entered. Move the panel and press the buttons in the order: “up”, “turn”, “down”, to open the path. Examine the panel with a red light behind the door to unlock it and also unlock the metal door next to it. Enter through the mechanical door and you will see a pick-up truck. Examine it and you will meet Gary Douglas, the hotel owner. After the conversation, he will give you the key to room 6 on the second floor. Head there.
In the bedroom, you will find a small closet where you can store your items. There is also a telephone. Equip yourself with the rifle and save. Go to the balcony and you will see a man on top of the water tank. Go down the stairs and go left. You will see two horses digging a hole (?). Go straight past them and follow to the end. Activate the device to open the door, but be quick and get there before it closes. Once inside, you will have to face eight or ten horses in a very small space and what’s worse: they come two at a time. Use and abuse antibody magic and also use healing if you need to. Avoid attack spells and use the same scheme as the first horse.
After the tough battle, the strange man will go down a staircase. Climb it and you will meet Kyle Madigan, a private detective who is investigating the strange phenomena at DRYFIELD. After the conversation, go to the top of the water tank and examine the body to get a key and a recover. Go down and activate a lever that opens the gate permanently. Exit and head to the gray door. Here is a small deposit. Examine the cabinets to get another recover 1 and examine the bottom to get a magnet. Enter through the next door and reach the bar. Next to the entrance door, there is a refrigerator where you can get a coke that restores HP and MP (is it soft?). Now go back to where you faced the horses and go to the metal door. At the end there is another door, but it is locked. There is a flame in the air vent next to it, use the magnet to pick it up. Enter and go to the small door next to the pickup; There a dog awaits you. Follow him to the trailer and go inside.
Talk to Douglas and he will give you some information and sell you some items. If you don’t already have it, buy the grenade launcher and some ammo for it. If you need to, also buy some healing items. Now go out and follow Flint (the dog) to a rope, grab it and use it to climb down the shaft. The door next door is locked and won’t be able to be opened anytime soon. Follow it to the end and exit. DO NOT go right now, go left and activate the switch. Now go back through the door and look for a hole in the wall, examine it to get a capsule. Now equip the grenade launcher and exit through the door, head to the right to find a mixture of a spider and a chameleon, as it walks on the ceiling and can become invisible. His attacks take a lot of energy, so it’s good to have antibody at least Lv 2. As soon as the battle starts, use antibody and go straight past it until you reach another door. It’s very narrow here and he can’t catch you. When he appears, go out, shoot once and return to the alley. Reload, exit and fire again. Repeat this procedure until you finish it. Enter the door and eliminate the rats and bats. There is an item in a box behind the barrels. Exit and go up the stairs. Further ahead, you are at the convenience store. Examine the shelves for various items. Unlock the front door and save your progress. Go back and go through the door at the back. Be very careful with horses, as it is very narrow here. If you still have grenade launcher ammo, use it, as facing them here with a less powerful weapon is practically suicide.
Enter the first door and examine the cash register ($), but there is no money here, but an item that adds an attachment to your vest. But don’t use it now. Exit and head to the last door, it is locked and Aya will hear a scream from inside. Examine the barrels to get shotgun ammo. Go to the second door, examine the closet and then go back to the trailer and talk to Douglas. He will give you permission to take a tool from him in the garage, go there and take the wrench from the shelf. Go to the room where the closet is, but first use the phone to save it. Use the wrench to remove the screws and open a passage. Equip yourself with the rifle and have the grenade launcher in reserve, you already know the rest of the spaces. Also have pyrokinesis at Lv 2, when you’re ready, enter through the passage. Go forward and you will see a woman asking for help, but Nº 9 appears and kills her, it’s time to face him again:
BOSS: NO. 9
Pathetic, here you will have a lot more space than in Akropolis Tower and No. 9 is very slow, but it is quite resistant. Stay far away from him, shooting whenever you can and when he attacks you, use pyrokinesis to cause high damage. Repeat this scheme until you finish him off, if you’re good (like me) you might finish him off without being hit once.
After the battle, Aya will faint and only wake up at night.
Dryfield – Night
After the conversation with Madigan, follow him to your car and it will be completely destroyed by the jumping monsters. After you’re done with them, grab whatever you need from the trunk of the car and go talk to Douglas. He will give you the key to the Lobby, which is opposite the bathroom. Head there.
Once inside, press the switch to turn on the lights. Next, examine the cash register ($) and enter code #3033 TOTAL to open it. But again there is no money (Ohhhhhh!!!!!), but the master key to the hotel. With it, you can open all the doors that were locked. If you want, go to rooms 3 and 4 on the first floor and room 5 on the second. There’s nothing but monsters in these rooms. Go just to gain experience. Then go to the last door on the second floor. Go to the back of the room and get the gas can, but it’s empty. There is also a safe here. Enter the code 4487 to open it and get the Holy Water. DO NOT USE THIS ITEM NOW, keep it in the closet in room 6. Don’t worry, you will come back here later. Go to where your car is and use the gallon at the gas pump to fill it up. Now go talk to Douglas and he will say that you should get some rest. You should already have enough money, so buy the “PASSGT Vest” and equip it. Then, use the “belt pouch” on it to increase its attachments. Also buy at least 20 grenades and ammunition for the rifle. If you have any money left, buy recovers and MP boost. Go to room 6.
Equip yourself with the grenade launcher and put the loaded rifle in reserve. Have at least two MP boost 2 in your vest and place recovers on the rest. If you can, also have the pyrokinesis spell at Lv 3. Save your game and examine the bed. Choose the second option to watch a sensational scene of Aya taking a shower (OOOBA!!!!!), but unfortunately you won’t see much and even so a small intruder (!) will disturb the poor thing’s rest:
BOSS: Fire-Breathing Giant
This battle can be quite easy if you have pyrokinesis at Lv 3, otherwise you will have great difficulties. Well, whatever, be careful with his attacks. He has a top-down punch that crushes you and takes a lot of your HP, but it’s easy to escape. He also tries to grab you and to escape this, you must quickly enter the alley that leads to the stairs, but don’t waste your time trying to escape. But the most annoying attack is his flamethrower that chases you across most of the balcony. Well, when the battle starts, shoot once with the grenade launcher and use pyrokinesis. Then run to the double doors at the end, reload and repeat the same procedure. Follow this scheme and when the MP runs out, don’t hesitate to use MP boost, as this creature has a lot of HP.
After the creature melts, go down to the first floor and talk to Douglas. He will give you the Pick-up key. Go to your car and get all the items from the trunk. If you run out of space, come back later to get the rest. Place everything in the pickup bed. Then go to the trailer and Douglas will give you a new weapon. Get it from the brown box. If you want, buy more items and ammo. When you’re ready, talk to Madigan to leave Dryfield, end of the first CD.
Abandoned Mines
As soon as you arrive, you will already have to face a hard stop. Equip yourself with the rifle and have the grenade launcher in reserve. Have healing items and at least one MP boost. Get ready, because you will face a real army of horses (at least 10 or 12). You can shoot them down using the same scheme as always or you can stay close to the abyss and wait for them to attack you and then get out of the way and let the idiot settle down below. But this scheme is very risky, because if it hits you, you will also fall into the abyss and then it’s GAME OVER.
Once you’re done with them, grab whatever you want from the trunk of the truck and enter the mine. Continue forward until you reach a broken bridge. Go back to the first corridor of the mine and enter the door on the right. Examine the cart to get it out of the way. Go to the end and get the board. Go back to the bridge and use the board to cross. Use plasma against the bats that will attack you. Ahead, there are two doors, the larger one is locked. Enter the smaller one. Here there is infinite PB ammo and a phone. Examine the device at the back of the room and remove the plug. Now place the plug in the third hole and activate the lever to open the larger door. Now equip yourself with the grenade launcher and have the antibody spells at Lv 3 and combustion at least Lv 2. Save and go to the next door and get ready to face:
BOSS: Leader Horse
This battle is not that difficult. He spends most of his time running around the shelves and sometimes he climbs them and jumps on you. To avoid further damage, use antibody as soon as the battle starts and run to the opposite side he goes. When you encounter him, shoot and if he is close when you hit him, immediately use combustion to increase the damage. Repeat this pattern until he falls.
Examine the animal’s body to get a weapon and another plug. But he’s not defeated yet:
BOSS: Leader Horse 2 – The Mission
Now he is stronger and has more HP and also has an attack in which he grabs you with his teeth and shakes you and takes away a lot of energy and even leaves you with poison status, but if you have the PASSGT vest, you won’t have any problems therefore. Repeat the previous scheme, but now it will take a little longer.
After the animal goes to the other world, go to the bike at the end and examine it. But nothing will happen, so go back to the device room and deactivate it. Remove the plug that is in it and then place the two plugs, one in the first and the other in the last hole and then activate the lever. Go to the bike and examine it again. You will open a door that will take you to the SHELTER.
shelter
As soon as you enter, you will meet an old acquaintance. Remember that chameleon spider you faced in DRYFIELD? Well, here she is stronger and faster and what’s worse, her attacks still cause paralysis. You can finish it off using the grenade launcher, but then you’d better have antibody and metabolism at Lv 3 and have recovers on all your attachments, because the grenade launcher’s shot, despite being powerful, is very slow and requires recharging. iiiiiihhhh! But there is an easier way, just a little more time-consuming. Equip yourself with the gun you picked up from the leader horse’s body and shoot R2 to blind him with the flash for a few seconds. Then shoot R1 and when he recovers, flash him again. This scheme is time-consuming because each shot from this weapon takes away 10 to 15 HP from the animal. You’ve already seen it, but by doing this you won’t get hit once and you’ll save items.
After finishing him off, go forward and take the elevator down at the end. In the middle of the corridor, there is a door locked on the other side. Further ahead, there is an elevator that cannot be used now. Then go next door. Go forward until you reach a warehouse. Examine the shelves to find a Ringer Solution (store it in the first chest you find). There is also infinite ammo here PB The door near this ammo is also locked. Then go through the other door until you reach the dormitory. Be careful with the green slimes, if they touch you you will have silence status. Use combustion to finish them off. There is nothing important here. Head through the next door and you’ll come to a hallway with several doors (see map).

1 – BEDROOM
2 – ARMORY
3 – ELEVATOR ROOM
4 – CONTROL ROOM
5 – GARAGE
6 – DISINFECTION ROOM
Head to the armory. Here there is a machine where you can buy items, weapons, ammo and vests. Buy only ammo for the grenade launcher and rifle and if you want, buy some firefly ammo for the shotgun. Examine the red light panel next to a door. Remember that black card you got at AKRÓPOLIS TOWER? Well, use it on the panel to open the door and you’ll be in gunpowder heaven. Here there is infinite PB ammo, hydra for the pistol and buckshot for the shotgun and at the end you can get the shotgun for free after doing everything you have to do. Exit and head to the disinfection room and enter the door with the yellow seal. On the other side there is a telephone and a chest. Save what you want and save if you want. Go forward to an elevator. Go down it and follow it to the next corridor. Here you will find a kind of giant seahorse. Use fire spells or the shotgun with firefly ammunition and he dies quickly. Go forward and you will come to another hallway with several doors. The previous map also works here, just change the legend:
1 – ELEVATOR 1
2 – ELEVATOR 2
3 – CORRIDOR WHERE YOU CAME
4 – SUBJECT STORE
5 – LABORATORY
6 – ELEVATOR ROOM
Head to the guinea pig storage and if you need, get infinite ammo here. Go through the next door and you will be in a hallway. At the end there is a locked door that needs a card to open. Go back to the disinfection room, save beforehand and enter the door with the yellow seal. Inside, something strange happens and poisonous gas starts coming out and the two doors are locked. The only exit is an air vent next to the door you came from. Go down it.
Trash deposit
Before moving on to the next screen, there are two boxes of infinite ammo, one in each corner, well hidden. Take it if you need it, equip yourself with the grenade launcher and leave the shotgun in reserve. Have plenty of recovers and just one MP boost, just in case. Go to the next screen and out of the trash appears:
BOSS: Scrap Eater
This creature has a real arsenal of attacks. It launches a yellow goo that does no damage, but leaves you stuck to the ground, leaving you vulnerable to other attacks. It also launches some electrical discharges into the air that fall on top of you. Pay attention to the shadows and dodge. There is also poisonous gas which, if caught in full, causes extremely high damage. Therefore, healing at Lv 3 will be essential here. If you already have life drain, even better. Now, the most dangerous attack is when it opens its mouth and starts sucking in everything in front of it, including Aya. So, be careful, because if it swallows you, even with full HP it’s GAME OVER for you.
Well, let’s get to the strategy: he only takes damage when he opens his mouth to suck. Until he does this, just dodge his other attacks. When the screen changes it’s because he’s going to suck you in, so run to a safe distance, then turn and shoot. Then keep running until he stops sucking. Repeat this scheme and after four or five shots he will take a step forward. Then it gets a little complicated, as your space will decrease, but continue with the same scheme and when he takes the next step it will get even more complicated, as he will start attacking with his tongue and this attack is very fast and powerful. Try to dodge it and then shoot until you finish it off.
After he falls, go through the door ahead and the creature will chase you again:
BOSS: Scrap Eater – The Return
You can take him on, but there’s an easier way. Run to an opening in the wall with a button on the floor. Step on the button to activate the elevator. It will take a while for it to rise again, so when the monster touches you, just run and DO NOT SHOOT IT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, or you will be devoured. When the elevator arrives, go to the other side and when the animal sucks you in, shoot until it walks towards the elevator. At that moment, it will lower, leaving the animal trapped. There is another opening with a button on the floor, step on it to activate the trash compactor and turn the bastard into hamburger (He! He! He!).
Finally, you got rid of the devourer, but your problems are not over yet. The incinerator has been activated and you only have five minutes to get out of this place. But first, go back to the warehouse where you faced the devourer for the first time and you will find a box with the wolf medallion item. Only use it when you have the apobiosis spell at Lv 2 to evolve it to Lv 3 without needing experience. Now get out of there and follow it to the end. But… not that, the door is locked and time is running out Aaaaahhhhh! Don’t panic, insist on the door and Kyle will open it for you. After the conversation, follow Kyle through the sewers.
Back to Dryfield
Go straight ahead until you reach a control room. Look for a panel and enter code 18 to lower the water at the bottom. Now, go down and go to another control room and look for another panel and enter code 15 to unlock a door further on. Now go forward until you reach a path with two doors, go to the door with stairs and you will be in the DRYFIELD pit. Climb the rope and Flint will be waiting for you at the top. Follow him to the water tank and you will see Pierce being attacked by some giant mosquitoes, finish them off and talk to Pierce. Then go to the ice machine, grab some and bring it to him. Do this three times to win items, including the “ofuda” item. Only use it when you have the Energy ball spell at Lv 2. Head to the trailer, but first you can go to room 6 to get the holy water from the closet. If you already have life drain at Lv 2, use it, otherwise, don’t even think about it.
In the trailer, talk to Douglas and if you have enough money, be sure to buy the AS-12 gun, which in my opinion is the second best gun in the game (as the best one won’t be available until you finish the game, so you can say this is the best). If you don’t have the money, come back later and buy it, but don’t be crazy enough to face the final boss without it. After you do everything in the trailer, kill some monsters in DRYFIELD to gain more experience, then go back to the well and enter the gate in front of the one you came from, go to the elevator, go down to the next floor and go to the red dot indicated on the map, once there Aya will be attacked by a monster, but it goes away and leaves a card on the floor, pick it up, go to that locked door after the guinea pig storage (see map) and use the card to open the door , if it doesn’t open, go to the elevator room and use it on the blue panel to open the next door. Now enter the room on the left and follow it to a corridor with a door leading through it, you will be in the laboratory, here there is a chest and a telephone, examine a computer on the table and enter with the code “A3EILM2S2Y LOGIN”, then choose all the options and in one of them the computer will ask you some questions and if you are good at English and have paid attention to the game’s dialogues you will easily pass this one, otherwise huummmm!!!! Well, after seeing everything on the computer, answer the phone and Pierce will say that he is in the Shelter and that he discovered something incredible, save and look at the map, go to the place with a red dot and you will find Pierce, talk to him then examine a monitor with several buttons examine them all until the elevator appears in front of the guinea pig warehouse now you can activate it, do this and go there but before going down, save your game because in the next area you will not be able to do this.
Artificial Forest
Follow the corridor until you reach a kind of giant greenhouse, go through the door on the right, kill the enemies and go forward until you reach an Egyptian tomb. The door ahead is locked and to open it you must find a puzzle on the wall. Notice the colored cables running behind it. You must align the red blocks according to the red cable to open the door. If you want, you can line up the blue blocks to get an item. After opening the door, equip yourself with the shotgun and enter:
BOSS (more or less): Generator Monster 1
First, destroy the lasers that cause various negative statuses. Then, destroy the computer at the bottom as it recovers the monster’s energy. Now, kill the creature without mercy and don’t worry, it won’t attack you.
Now go back to the greenhouse and go through the door on the left. Here you will encounter a new enemy. He’s a bit slow, but has a powerful attack. I recommend using the grenade launcher if you don’t want to get into too much trouble. Go forward and go through the underwater tunnel. Now examine the colored blocks on the side. Go back and enter the door on the left and go straight until you reach a temple (Mayan, Inca, Aztec, whatever!). Go up the stairs and you will see some colored blocks on the floor. Step on the blocks in the following order: 6x BLUE, 2x WHITE, 3x RED AND 5x YELLOW and activate the lever on the statue. Now go back through the tunnel and go through the door on the left. Head to a small island and look at the bottom for a Lipstick. Now equip yourself with the shotgun with firefly ammo and go down the trapdoor:
BOSS: Seahorse Leader:
Its only dangerous attack is a super electrical discharge that causes a lot of damage and follows you across almost the entire screen. Other than that, it’s not a big problem. He is weak to fire, so use and abuse pyrokinesis. If you already have inferno, don’t use it on it, as it would be a waste of MP and you still have firefly. When you defeat him, he will drop the “skull crystal” item. If you already have hell at Lv 2, use it, otherwise, save it for later.
Now go back to the temple and move the lever on the statue again to move the bridge. Now step on the blocks in the following order: RED, YELLOW, BLUE, WHITE, BLUE, WHITE, RED, YELLOW, WHITE, BLUE, YELLOW, RED. Now go back through the tunnel and enter the back door. Go forward until you reach a place with a door on the left and an elevator in the background. Go through the door:
BOSS: Monster Generator 2
Follow the same scheme as the first monster and that’s it.
Now go back to the shelter and go to the armory and buy grenades, until you can’t anymore. If you need to, buy some healing items and firefly ammo for the shotgun. Go to the laboratory and save your game. Now go to elevator nº 1 and go down, equip yourself with the grenade launcher and have the shotgun in reserve. Head to the next elevator for a long descent and when you get out you will see a child with an iron mask running, follow behind him:
BOSS: Long-Armed Giant:
This guy has absurd HP, I already faced him with 100 grenades and when I finished him I only had about 25 left, although with all that HP he’s not much, but he has a lot of attacks. The first one is an explosion that takes away a lot of energy, use healing or items to solve this, but this attack can be canceled if you fire a grenade right when it is charging. The other attacks are lasers that cause various negative statuses. The single laser can be avoided by just running from it, the triple laser is the easiest, just need to stay between two to avoid being hit, the double laser is the most difficult (not to say almost impossible) to dodge, so metabolism Lv 3 will be essential here. He also recovers HP from time to time, making his work even longer. If you have enough grenades (at least 80), attack without mercy and you might not get hit even once, as the grenades cancel most of your actions.
After the battle, Aya will take off the girl’s mask and find herself face to face with a clone of her.
The Invasion of the Mutant Soldiers
After meeting Eve, grab an item from the crib. Then she talk on the phone to save. Now, talk to Madigan and several men similar to No. 9 will attack you, but Madigan manages to fend them off. Now you must reach the elevator with Eve, but walk slowly so Eve can keep up and be careful, because if Eve’s HP reaches zero it is GAME OVER.
When leaving the elevator, Eve will run, go after her and when you reach the tunnel you will meet an old friend (!), yes, himself, Nº9 is back. He captures Eve and escapes. Head to the room where Pierce was, his path will be infested with mutant soldiers. There are the green ones, which are the least dangerous, the red ones that use gas bombs and a flash that silences you, and the purple ones, which are the most dangerous, as their attacks take a lot of energy and cause paralysis, and they can still become invisible. Once there, read the note that Pierce left, then check the monitor you used to activate elevator number 2 and press all the buttons until door 5 (Garage) appears and unlock it. Keep pressing the buttons until you find a device, deactivate it too. Now go to door 5 (see map), here is a kind of garage where there is a blue car parked, there is also a device next to it, examine the colored buttons, you can turn them on or off, by doing this you move the light on the white buttons, try a combination and then press CALL, now check if the parked car is red, if not, try another combination until it appears, then activate another device near the large gate, use the white card to this (what the monster left before leaving), also take the car key, then examine the car to go to the large tunnel, enter the door at the end and follow the corridor until you reach another large space, enter the small door ahead until you reach the device you saw on the monitor, examine it to unlock a door, now go back and follow the large door at the bottom to reach another huge space, finish off the mutants and examine the device to open the Next door, follow it and see another sensational CG where government soldiers invade the place and wipe out the mutants.
The final battle
After the conversation with the commander, explore the inside of the tent to find several items, go out and talk to Jodie and you can get items stored in the trunk of the yellow car and the pick-up truck and also in the closet in room 6 in the dryfield, talk to the soldier near the boxes to get infinite ammunition for pistols, shotguns, rifles and even grenade launchers, take what you want and then talk to the soldier behind the truck to buy items, if you didn’t buy them before, buy the shotgun AS- 12 and firefly and R. Slug ammunition, also buy the best vest in the game that leaves you with more than 200 HP, if you have money left, buy MP boost 2 and recover 3, now it’s time to use the items holy water, ofuda, wolf medalion and skull crystal to bring your most powerful spells to maximum level, when you’re ready, save in the tent and return to the shelter, go to the freezer where the mutants were before waking up and talk to Pierce twice, then head to the room where you disabled the devices on the monitor. ATTENTION: IF YOU ENTER HERE THERE IS NO GOING BACK, only go if you really think you are ready.
When you enter, you will see Nº 9 forcing Eve to awaken a powerful monster and Kyle is helping him, when trying to stop him Aya ends up being shot by Kyle, but he soon regrets and ends Nº 9 once and for all, but It’s too late. After the scene with the big explosion and the conversation with Kyle, Aya will be outside, recover your HP and equip yourself with the AS-12 shotgun, with firefly ammunition and leave the R. Slug ammunition in reserve, put it in the attachments MP boost 2 (at least 3) and Recovers 3, when you’re ready, go down the elevator and enter the next door, it’s time for the final battle:
BOSS: Giant Baby
Get ready to test your patience, because this guy is really annoying, each part of his body has a different attack, let’s go to them:
HEAD: a beam of red energy that causes a lot of damage and is almost impossible to escape;
BELLY: an electrical discharge that causes paralysis, but this is the least of its problems;
ARMS: poisonous gas, the same as that of the scrap metal eater;
TAIL: the same attack as the belly, I repeat, this is the least of your problems;
NECK: a flash that causes blind;
CHEST: the worst of all, a super explosion of energy that can take all your HP;
Well, let’s get to the strategy: your first target should be the head. Shoot without mercy and when you receive a lot of damage use life drain, after destroying the head he will start using the neck attack, to escape stay in the lower part, now focus on the arms and when you finish one of them the chest should collapse open and then things get complicated as you will have to run as fast as you can to escape the big explosion, if you are hit and survive, use life drain immediately, use antibody to reduce the damage caused and when the MP runs out, recover it immediately with items , after destroying the arms, focus on the chest, (forget the other parts) be patient, one day the big one will fall.
After victory, put R. Slug ammo in the AS-12, if you bought 200 it should be enough, but leave the grenade launcher in reserve just in case, put all the ringer solutions you have and the remaining space put recovers and MP boost, Now look for a light panel and use the white card on it to activate a bridge, Aya tries to save Eve but the monster hasn’t died yet, it merges with Eve and uses her powers to become a new form, get ready because it’s coming the real villain:
FINAL BOSS: Eve
If you found the giant baby difficult, then my friend you will have nightmares with this one, all of Eve’s attacks are powerful and very difficult to escape, but not impossible, well, in the beginning she keeps disappearing and appearing out of nowhere, so the best What you have to do is keep running and when she appears in the middle of the bridge, shoot without mercy, ATTENTION, when she makes the screen wave, notice that your MP is being recovered little by little but don’t be fooled, she is carrying a devastating attack that can really kill you with full HP and if by miracle you survive you will be without any MP, so what to do? Simple, when the screen starts to wave, immediately use inferno or life drain and the attack will be cancelled, she also launches energy balls that chase you and cause several negative statuses, so get ready to use a lot of metabolism here, when she is almost dying , you will make a transparent clone of yourself, use energy ball to protect yourself from the clone and keep shooting at the real Eve, good luck and don’t lose or you will have to face the giant baby again (he! he! he!).
Well after a tough battle like this, now it’s time to enjoy the well deserved ending, after the credits save your game to have access to Replay Mode and Bounty Mode where you play the same story but with much more powerful enemies, and destroy yourself Bounty Mode will have access to Scavenger Mode, where the difficulty is even greater, by detonating this mode you will be able to access Nightmare Mode which, as the name suggests, is a true nightmare, if you have killed all the enemies in the game you can also have the best weapon in the game; HYPER VELOCITY, I’m not even going to say what it does so as not to ruin the surprise, thank you and see you next time.
