TUTORIAL: BATTLE SYSTEM

TRIAL CAVE
After the conversation choose the second option to continue, enter the cave and go to the next area for a battle, after that, follow the path to the right to find two chests containing a HERB and an IRON KNIFE, equip the latter on Lutz , go back and head north, on the way there is a chest with a PALO NUT, this item is extremely rare, as it increases a character’s agility by 5 points, but it also has another purpose that I will explain later, for now, keep it safe o, this applies to all items with “NUT” in the name, so I won’t repeat it, continue forward to a staircase, go down and after the battle go to the next area to find a fork, go left and after the battle take a SHIMMER STONE in the chest, ignore the path to the north and go back to the fork going right, in the next area take an IRON SPEAR from the chest, equip it on Alec, go forward until another fork, take the southeast path to find 4 chests containing a FALCON STATUE, a PALONUT and two SHIMMERING STONES, go back and follow the northeast path until you find two luminous pillars, the pink one fully recovers your HP and MP and the green one is the Save Point, save and get a SHIMMERING STONE from the chest ahead, Before proceeding I advise you to be at least level 6 with both, when you are ready, examine the crystal wall and you will find the place where the Ghost Dream Crystal is, but you will also find a hunter called Tengaron who says that if you want a fragment you will have to defeat you first and prove you are worthy.

Nothing too complicated, as a firearms user he attacks from a distance, dealing 15 to 20 damage, normally attack him from behind whenever possible and heal yourself if your HP drops below 25.

After the battle, Tengaron recognizes your bravery and you will get the crystal fragment, return to the Hunter’s Guild in Itio and Alec will give the crystal to the attendant, who will be amazed and will use the crystal to make a badge for Alec, you will then receive the HUNTER’S BADGE and you will, from now on, be officially a hunter, mission complete. MISSION 4 – STRANGE CREATURES IN THE HOUSE

MISSION 6 – FIND THE OWNER OF THE MONSTER EGG
Description: The owner of Itio’s inn accidentally swapped a guest’s luggage with one containing a monster egg and now needs help to correct this error.

ATTENTION: If you accept this mission and have not completed the previous ones, you will have to abort them and you will not receive the reward for them.

After the conversation, leave the city and enter Corelia Pass to the north, you will have to face a group of Rocs, be careful, don’t go at them or you might get hurt, wait for them to approach and attack them with Force Ring and Knife Rain, after defeating them, another group appears and things start to get ugly, but a woman appears and uses a strange machine to scare them away, her name is Sharon and she says she is a scientist from the Academy, an organization dedicated to bringing prosperity for the world through science, after the conversation she leaves, if you want, you can stop by the village of Vernica, the most northwestern house is the Elder’s, you can sleep here for free whenever you need, go to the barn next door and get a MAGIC SPRIG, MAGIC POWER NUT, RED TALISMAN and BLUE TALISMAN from the chests, when finished, head to Great Scar, northeast of Vernica, you will find the Boss on the edge of the cliff and Theo who is hanging on a small platform, Lutz gets some vines and ties them to a tree so that they can lower Theo to a wider area, but as soon as they can, Theo insists on entering the temple to become a cardist and that he will continue anyway, without another option. option Alec decides to go with him. To summon the captured monster, use Summon, but when you summon the monster it will be lost and if you want to use it again, you will have to capture another one, and what’s more, you can only carry a maximum of 5 monster cards with you and this does not change during throughout the game, in Monster Society around the world there are people with whom you can exchange cards, some are very good, but the person will not exchange for just any card, they always want a specific type, pay attention to the dialogues and maybe you can find it. There, here you can also store your letters with the attendants and collect them later whenever you want.

After the battle, the group returns to Monster Society and Theo permanently joins the group, mission complete.

MISSION 8 – RENN HUNTERS AND THE MONSTER ATTACK
Description: Corelia Pass is infested with monsters, some hunters were sent there, but they are not coping.

MISSION 9 – TEMPLATE FOR A PROBLEMATIC PAINTER

MISSION 11 – A NEW CAREER FOR THE BABY MONSTER
Description: The baby monster that is in the care of the Monster Society, keeps crying and seems sick, he needs someone specialized in raising monsters.

Head to Monster Society, the Chief says that the baby monster needs someone who knows how to take care of it, he heard rumors in Vernica that there was someone living in the mountains who can help, he says that the Elder can inform them better, so head to Vernica and go talk to the Elder, he says that there is a woman called Lieza who lives on a ranch west of Astorny Bridge, she has the ability to talk to monsters and is a very kind person who will definitely welcome the little monster. Head to Corelia Pass and you will face a very easy battle, after that you will meet a hunter called Alba and his companions Enea and Belga, Alba shows himself to be a very competitive young man and marks Alec as his rival, after the conversation, they leave and wow mission will be complete.

MISSION 15 – RECOVER STRANGE UFO
Description: Bagudo, the owner of the item store, believes he has seen a UFO and asks for the help of a hunter to locate and recover it.

MISSION 19 – SEE THE LITTLE ROC
Description: A girl named Len wants to see a monster she calls “little Roc” in person, as she has only seen him in a letter.

Head to Monster Society and talk to Len, the girl in the red dress, she says she wants to see “little Roc” in person and asks them to take her to the place where he lives, the group concludes that she is talking about those birds that live in Corelia Pass, so head there, a group of Rocs are waiting, but Len says that these are not the monsters she is looking for, anyway, we will have to face them, after the battle, Len says that the “little Roc ” has beautiful purple feathers, so the group concludes that she is talking about the Crimsom Rocs, then head to Noalis Forest where a group of Crimsom Rocs awaits us, Len says that these are the monsters she wanted to see and then runs towards them Without being aware of the danger, Alec runs to save her and a new battle begins. MISSION 20 – MYSTERIOUS OBJECT EVALUATION
