Crazy Taxi – Complete Walkthrough (Step by Step Guide)

All strategies for you to complete Crazy Box mode

Crazy Box mode in Crazy Taxi is a fun and challenging way to hone your in-game driving skills, featuring a series of unique and challenging tests. I will discuss in detail how to complete each of these tests.

Level 1:

Test 1-1: Crazy Jump This test involves using a ramp to jump a minimum distance of 150 meters. Start by backing the car until it touches the wall and then move forward normally. Halfway up the ramp, perform a Crazy Dash by releasing the accelerator, shifting into reverse, and then putting the gear back into ‘Drive’ while accelerating almost simultaneously. This should make the car accelerate so that you can jump the necessary distance.

Test 1-2: Crazy Flag Here, the task is to turn the car 180° and capture the flag on the opposite side before time runs out. Shift into reverse, shift into Drive, step on the accelerator and turn the car in the direction you prefer to capture the flag.

Test 1-3: Crazy Balloons This test involves popping all the balloons within the given time. You can follow one of two strategies: start by popping the balloons in the middle and gradually expand your area, or start at the edges and work towards the center in a sort of spiral pattern.

Test 1-S: Crazy Bowling As a reward for completing the first three tests, you can play a game of bowling where the objective is to strike each set of pins and knock down all 70. Aim the middle of the car at the first pin and, a moment before hitting them, turn the car to hit the pegs sideways. Remember to use Crazy Dash to regain speed after each Strike.

Level 2:

Test 2-1: Crazy Drift For this test, you need to perform 15 consecutive Crazy Drifts. Start with a Crazy Dash and head straight for the grassy spots. There, perform the Crazy Drifts in sequence, remembering not to let the car stop.

Test 2-2: Crazy Turn Here, the objective is to get the customer to the desired destination before time runs out. Use Crazy Dash to accelerate quickly and Crazy Drift to better execute ‘U’ turns.

Test 2-3: Crazy Bound Again, the goal is to get the customer to their desired destination before time runs out. Pay attention to the arrows painted on the ground before each ramp and follow their directions. Use Crazy Dash at the end to improve your time.

Test 2-S: Crazy ZigZag After completing all tests in the second stage, this test will be unlocked. It involves driving through a narrow zig-zag. Use Crazy Dash frequently and start Crazy Drift just before each turn.

Level 3:

Test 3-1: Crazy Rush This test involves taking several customers to their destinations. With practice, you’ll remember where each customer wants to go and can pick them up so that you need to turn the car as little as possible.

Test 3-2: Crazy Jam Again, you will have to take several customers to their destinations before time runs out. Avoid traffic by walking on the sidewalks and remember to stop as close as possible to the next passenger after dropping each one off.

Test 3-3: Crazy Pole Here, the task is to take each passenger to the pole they want within the time limit. An easy way to do this is to hit the pole to get the passenger out of the car, then get back up to speed with a Crazy Dash.

Test 3-S: Crazy ZigZag2 Similar to Test 2-S, but the locations where you need to drop off passengers are much smaller. Use Crazy Dash and try to throw the car sideways when cornering to minimize loss of speed.

S Level:

Test S-1: Crazy Through This test involves doing 30 Crazy Throughs without touching other cars. The key here is patience. Don’t worry about your speed and be cautious.

Test S-2: Crazy Parking Here, you need to get through the parking lot before time runs out. Don’t crash into anything, use Crazy Dash whenever you can, and throw the car sideways on the curves.

Test S-3: Crazy Party The objective is to pick up passengers in a specific order within the time limit. Follow the suggested order and use Crazy Dash frequently.

SS Test: Crazy Attack This final test involves going around the city in 4 minutes. Familiarize yourself with the city’s paths and streets before attempting this test.

After completing all these tests, you get an extra taxi: a special bike, with a trailer (passengers stay in the trailer)!
