1 – Complete Walkthrough (Step by Step Guide) of Final Fantasy III

1.1 – PART 1 – WORLD OF BALANCE

NARSHE

When you start, you will have in the group, in addition to Wedge and Vics, a mysterious girl whose name is still unknown, they will be using a type of vehicle called “Magitek Armors” and have the mission to find an Esper who is in the city, when you enter, always follow Going forward you shouldn’t have any problems in the battles, you will soon arrive at the mine, go to the shining point, this is the “Save Point”, save if you want and continue forward, Vics will break down the door and you will have to face a boss :

BOSS: Whelk

There are two targets, the boss himself and the shell, don’t attack the shell as it absorbs any attack, when he hides inside the shell take the opportunity to heal, he has an attack that slows you down, but that’s not a problem, use the Missile of the girl to cause great damage and any attack from Wedge and Vics.

Continue forward and you will find Esper, the battle scene enters, but Esper simply makes Wedge and Vics disappear and then attacks the girl, in the next scene she wakes up in the house of a man who says he removed the crown that controlled her , she says she doesn’t remember anything, except her name, Terra, the townspeople knock on the door, they want to punish Terra for what she did, the old man then tells her to escape through the back, first, examine the clock to the right to get an Elixir, now exit through the other door, go to the mine, there is a Save point right ahead, take the items from the chests and go through the narrowest passage, Terra will be surrounded and will end up falling into a trapdoor and fainting, she will have some memories of a guy called Kefka, putting on her the crown that controlled her, then shows Terra massacring the soldiers in a training to Kefka’s delirium (this guy has serious problems, huh?), then shows Emperor Gesthal speaking to his soldiers saying that soon they will dominate the world with the power of magic, back at the old man’s house, Locke appears and the old man asks him to look for Terra and take her to the King of Figaro, Soon Locke finds Terra passed out, right at the time that Narshe’s guards arrive, a group of Moglis also arrives to help Locke, three groups will be formed to face the soldiers, they must not allow them to reach where Terra is, to change groups use the Y button, after defeating the soldiers you must face the leader, go with Locke’s group and steal a Mitril Dagger from him, if you are defeated you can still use the other two groups, after defeating him Locke helps Terra to leave the mine through a secret passage, before leaving the town, talk to the guy standing at the door and he will let you in, talk to everyone to learn about the battle system, get the items from the chests and examine the bucket to recover HP and MP, if you want, fight a little on the map and come back here to heal when necessary, when you are satisfied head south to the desert, there is the Castle of Figaro.

FIGARO CASTLE

Head straight to the throne room to meet Edgar, after the conversation (or should I say, frustrated singing <:D), walk through the castle with Terra, there are several chests with items and the doors previously blocked by guards are now free, head to the left tower and go down the stairs, talk to the old woman and she will tell you about Edgar’s brother, Sabin and the day their father died, after that, go back to the throne room and talk to Edgar, Kefka will arrive looking for Terra, talk to the soldiers and then to Kefka, Edgar will deny that Terra is there, Kefka will leave, talk to Locke and then, with Terra, follow him to the right tower, during the night, Kefka will attack the castle , talk to the guard at the gate and Edgar, Locke and Terra will flee in chocobos, meanwhile the castle sinks into the desert, Kefka sends his soldiers after them:

BOSS: Armors x 2

Nothing too complicated, Use Auto-Crossbow with Edgar and try to steal with Locke, Terra uses Fire and Cure when necessary, anyway Locke and Edgar will be surprised that Terra can use magic, since humans don’t have that ability.

Upon defeating them, Locke and Edgar tell Terra that she must meet their leader Banan, head south to a cave and enter, this is no maze, right at the beginning there is a fountain that recovers HP and MP, take advantage of it. evolve two or three levels here, get the chests and head to the exit and a little further south to a city.

FIGARO SOUTH

Buy new equipment for everyone and the Sprint Shoes accessory, don’t buy the others, go to the bar and you will meet Shadow, leave the city and go to a small house to the north, enter with Edgar leading the group, examine the flowers, the oven and the stove and Edgar will be sure that his brother Sabin was there, go out and talk to the old man, he will say that Sabin went to Colts Mt. east of here and that Vargas, the son of Duncan, Sabin’s master, had killed his own father and was also on the mountain, head there then.

COLTS MT.

Go forward and collect the items from the chests, along the way you will see a figure moving in front of you, continue until you reach the Save Point save and continue until you see a guy standing in front of a cave, before talking to him recover his HP, this is Vargas and he goes on the attack:

BOSS: Vargas

At the beginning, two bears will be protecting you, finish them off using Fire and Auto-Crossbow, attack Vargas non-stop with Locke and Edgar and leave Terra ready to heal, as he has an attack that hits everyone and takes away around 60 HP of each, in fact you can’t beat him, but don’t let him kill you, soon Sabin appears and takes over the fight, use Blitz Pummel, whose command is left, right, left + A and the fight is over.

Sabin joins the group, enter the cave and head to the exit, head north to reach the rebel HQ, talk to Banan and he says that Terra may be the rebels’ last hope against the empire, now controlling Terra, talk with everyone and get the items in the chests, talk to the guard at the entrance and leave, talk to Banan and answer Yes, he will give you the Gloves accessory, which allows you to use a weapon with two hands increasing the damage caused by it, now the rebels plan what to do, Banan says that the power of the Magitec Armors comes from the magic drained from the espers and that to fight them it is necessary to use that same magic, Banan then suggests that Terra talk to Narshe’s esper, at that moment a rebel arrives and says that the empire invaded South Figaro and was already coming to HQ, Edgar asks Locke to go to South Figaro and delay the empire, meanwhile Banan and the others would go to Narshe via Lete River, head straight south and take the raft.

LETE RIVER

During the trip, Banan will be in the group, if he dies it’s Game Over, he has an ability that recovers HP for the entire group, so use it directly, when you reach a fork choose Left and soon you arrive at a Save Point, save and continue, when you reach another fork, choose Left again to reach another Save Point, save if you want and continue forward to face one of the worst bosses in the Final Fantasy series.

BOSS: Ultros

Seriously, this is the stupidest and most pointless boss in this game, but don’t hesitate, because he has a thick skin, he has an attack that causes blindness, but that’s the least of his problems, his tentacle can hit one or all of them. the characters, in both cases causing 100 to 150 HP of damage, have Banan using his ability all the time and don’t forget that if he dies, it’s over, Sabin must use Aura Bolt, Edgar’s Tools are not very efficient , then use normal attacks and heal with items if necessary, Terra uses Fire to make Soup from this Octopus, follow this scheme and pay attention to healing.

When defeating Ultros, he runs away and Sabin jumps into the water after him, but ends up being carried away by the current, now you must choose between three scenarios, Locke’s, Sabin’s and Banan’s group, the order doesn’t matter, you will have to go through them all so choose what you want, I’ll go to Locke’s first.

SOUTH FIGARO

Locke is being chased by soldiers and needs to escape the city and return to Narshe, enter the first house and go down the stairs to find a Save Point, now go to the next house and talk to the old man and he says he will only talk to you if bring him a drink, go downstairs and talk to the boy, go to the item shop and talk to the guy next to the clock, he will fight you, use Steal until you steal his clothes, now go back to the boy and he will let you pass, go out and go to where a soldier dressed in green is (note: do not talk to the soldiers in the Magitec Armors or you will regret it bitterly.) and he will fight you, steal his clothes and talk to the soldier that blocks the passage, go to the cafe and go down the stairs on the right, face another merchant and steal his clothes, take the drink to the old man and then talk to the boy, choose the second option and he will open the secret passage that take the millionaire’s house, go up the stairs and enter the first room, there is a passage behind the book shelf follow it and choose the first option to get rid of the merchant clothes, examine the first door and you will see Celes being tortured by the soldiers, when one of them leaves go in and talk to her, choose the first option to release her, Locke tells her to go with him and join the rebels, at first she hesitates, but then ends up accepting, take the key with the sleeping soldier and exit, in the second door there is a save point, save and go to the next door, don’t forget to equip Celes, examine the clock on the right to open a secret passage, go inside, cross the first wall and go up and then right to get a weapon and a shield, equip it on Celes, now go down and then left for the Earrings accessory, equip it on Celes and take the right path to get to the exit, Celes asks why Locke is helping her and he he responds that she reminds him of someone, leave the city and go to Sabin’s house to rest, now head to the cave to the west, you should already know the way, but the enemies are different, when you arrive at the fountain, heal yourself, try exit and something will try to stop you:

BOSS: Tunnel Armor

At first glance this may be a difficult battle, as he has powerful attacks and you only have two characters, but most of his attacks are magical so use Runic with Celes (this is the only battle where this will be useful) and attack with Locke, if your HP drops below 100, Locke should heal with items, as Celes should not stop using Runic under any circumstances, if you want you can steal an Air Knife from him.

Let’s now look at Sabin’s scenario:

Go to the little house to the north and find Shadow, talk to him and Sabin asks about the way to Narshe, he says that the empire is attacking Doma and if he wants to get to Narshe he will have to go through there, Shadow then offers to show him the path, put Yes and he joins the group but says he can leave whenever he feels like it, if you want, buy items from the merchant, it’s a good idea to buy some Shurikens, if you want, talk to the old man in the house, but he’s a little crazy and doesn’t say anything about anything, leave there and head south to a bridge, there is the soldiers’ camp, Sabin and Shadow hide and see the soldiers commenting that Kefka would be interested in General Leo’s death, because that way he would be second in command, Kefka leaves the tent and inspects the soldiers and then leaves.

DOMA

The empire’s soldiers attack Doma without mercy, Doma’s guards are already losing hope, when Cyan appears and says he will defeat their leader, when leaving the castle defeat the leader, use Dispatch twice and he is gone, you will win the Black Belt accessory that allows you to counter physical attacks, when you defeat the leader the others will retreat, Cyan and the others will enter the castle, meanwhile, with Sabin and Shadow, enter the tent on the right, examine the chest and choose the second option to get an accessory that protects against poison, leave and head south and you will see General Leo talking to a soldier, when a message arrives from Emperor Gesthal calling him to his presence, before going he recommends to Kefka not to kill people innocent, but as soon as Leo leaves, Kefka orders the soldier to bring the poison to put in Doma’s water, so Sabin decides to face him, attack him once and he will run away, go after him and attack him again, more an escape, keep chasing him and he orders the soldiers to slow you down, finish them off, but it’s too late, Kefka poisons the river and soon Doma’s soldiers start to fall dead, with Cyan head to the throne room and you will find the king dying, before dying he tells Cyan to protect his family, go to the room to the right of the throne room and Cyan will find his wife and son dead, angry, Cyan leaves for the camp determined to annihilate the empire alone , he starts to fight with the soldiers, with Sabin talk to Cyan to help him, in these battles you don’t control Cyan, do this three times and then Sabin says they have to escape from there, at first Cyan hesitates, but Sabin argues that if he wants to live, there is no other choice, soon a bunch of soldiers surround them and Sabin has the idea of using the magitek armors, with them go forward and win some battles to leave the camp, when you leave, go a little further towards west of the bridge and then south to another bridge, cross it and enter the forest.

GHOST FOREST

From here until you reach the train, Shadow can leave the group at any time, so try not to waste too much time. Go forward to the end and go up, examine the lake to heal, go to the end and go down, go through the upper passage, if you go through the lower one go back to the beginning, go to the end and go up, you will arrive at a station by train, Cyan finds it strange because the railway was destroyed a long time ago, Sabin decides to get on the train and others accompany him, the door closes and the train leaves, Cyan then says that this is the train that takes the dead to the another world, Sabin says he doesn’t want to go there and will find a way to stop this train, (if Shadow is still in the group, he will continue until they pass this part) go to the car on the right and enter the cabin, talk to the face and choose the second option, he will say that to stop the train you must use the levers in the engine room, leave and go left, talk to the ghosts, some sell items, others temporarily join the group and others attack you , but they are very weak, when entering a carriage through the side door a ghost will block the door, finish him off and the group will be surrounded, climb the ladder and go to the end of the carriage, Sabin will jump two carriages, but the ghosts will keep coming, enter the car and pull the lever to release the cars behind, enter and pull the lever again to open the way, go to the next car, which is the restaurant car, talk to the ghosts and examine the central table to be served, after eating, leave the carriage and enter on the other side to get an Earrings accessory, go to the next carriage, enter the cabin and try to get the item in the trunk, a guy will try to stop you:

BOSS: Siegfried

Ridiculous, simply ridiculous, how can they consider this idiot a boss, a single attack and he’s gone and on top of that he runs away stealing the item from the chest.

Exit and go to the next carriage, enter the second cabin and you will see four chests, in one of them there is a great accessory that increases strength, but you will have to defeat a monster to get it, be careful as it can be dangerous if you underestimate it. it, use Aura Bolt and Shurikens to avoid hassle, get out and go to the next car, save and move forward and you will finally reach the engine room, there are three levers here, pull the two in the corner, don’t pull the one in the middle , go out and examine the locomotive’s chimney, pull the lever and get ready to face:

BOSS: Ghost Train

Right at the beginning he can use an attack that causes random negative statuses, so be careful, Acid Rain hits everyone and causes around 140 HP of damage, you can beat them in two ways, in hard mode, use Aura Bolt with Sabin , Shuriken with Shadow (if he’s with you, of course) and Quadra Slam with Cyan if you already have him and pay attention to healing, in the absurdly easy mode just use a Phoenix Down on Ghost Train and that’s it, well, it’s up to you.

Upon defeating him, the Train decides to free them, Cyan sees his wife and son leaving on the train and is once again saddened. Talk to Cyan to leave the forest, head south and go around the mountains, before entering here take off all of Shadow’s equipment, if he is still in the group he will leave now, but you will see him again, jump into the waterfall and you will face a series of battles, use your best attacks to avoid taking risks, Sabin and Cyan end up fainting and end up on the riverbank where a strange boy examines them, he is Gau, when Sabin wakes up he runs away.

VELDT

Here you can face all the monsters in the game that are not bosses and that you have already encountered, sometimes Gau appears saying he is hungry, as you have no food now, attack him and he runs away, head west to the city of Mobilz, buy new equipment, including for Gau, go to the item shop and buy the Meat item, go to a house on the left and talk to the man lying down, he was a soldier of the empire but upon seeing Kefka’s cruelty, he tried deserted, but ended up being caught and beaten, he asks you to read the letter from his girlfriend, it’s on top of the dresser on the left, after reading it, talk to him again and he says he would like to respond, but he doesn’t have the strength To do this, go to the house on the right and talk to the man to send a letter in the name of the soldier, you gain absolutely nothing from this, but you will be doing a good deed, leave the city and fight until Gau appears, use the item Meat and he joins the group and says that as thanks for the food he will give you his treasure which is in Crescent Mountains, south of Mobilz, learn new Rages for him and when you are satisfied, head there, just follow the only possible path, Gau then shows his treasure, an old diving helmet, Sabin decides to use it to go down the river, go ahead and jump into the river, when two arrows appear, leave the one on the right illuminated, you will soon arrive in a cave, go forward until you find a ladder, full of water, press the button on the right to remove it and fall into the hole, get the green berret from the chest and leave, soon you will reach Nikeah, if you want, buy new things in the stores, go to the ship and talk to the sailor, we’re finally done with this scenario, let’s go to the last one, the one with Banan’s group.

You will continue going down the river, soon you will arrive in Narshe, but the inhabitants will not let you enter because of Terra, go through the secret passage on the left (the one where Terra escaped with Locke) and go all the way back, there will be a part where a strange light will follow a path, try to follow the same path, if you make a mistake a bunch of lights will surround you, if you press the action button at the exact moment the yellow light passes in front of you you will escape and you can continue path, if you make a mistake, you will face a fight against some very annoying ghosts, passing from here, go to an entrance, follow it down and go straight ahead until you reach where the mowglis live, the only thing to do here is to get the Rune Blade from a chest in the corridor on the left, leave and continue your path until you reach Jun’s house, after the conversation the other characters will arrive, upon seeing Celes, Cyan starts to fight, but Locke defends her and the “let it go” gang calms down, one of the guards arrives informing that the empire soldiers, led by Kefka, are approaching, everyone goes to where the esper is, save and talk to Banan, answer Yes and you will have to form three groups, two with two characters and one with three, they can’t let the soldiers reach Banan, the most balanced formation I found was this:

Group 1: Terra and Sabin
Group 2: Edgar and Gau
Group 3: Celes, Locke and Cyan

You can use another formation if you want, with each group close the three passages right next to Banan and finish off the soldiers that approach, after no soldiers approach, there will only be one soldier left protecting Kefka, use group 1 to finish off him, use Suplex with Sabin and fire with Terra and he won’t be any trouble, now recover group 3 and with him, go after Kefka:

BOSS: Kefka

He uses some spells that can cause serious problems, such as Poison, Fire and Confuse, Celes’ Runic solves the problem, with Locke stealing a Turbo Ether and healing with items whenever necessary and with Cyan using Dispatch to cause good damage, then After about 4 or 5 dispatches, Kefka gives up.

Kefka runs away and everyone goes to the esper, Terra approaches, but the esper reacts and throws everyone away, Terra transforms into a strange creature and flies away, the next day the group decides to look for her, choose a group, I advise taking Celes, Edgar, Locke and Sabin, if you want to see some events, otherwise, just take three characters, (later you will know why), buy new things in Narshe, there is a house further to the right with a lot of chests containing great items , but one of them is locked, we will come back here later, head to Figaro Castle.

FIGARO CASTLE

Go forward and if Sabin is in the group he will walk through the castle, go to the seller at the door on the right and buy two new Tools for Edgar, now go to the dormitory and sleep, a scene will occur where Sabin remembers the day his father One of them died, poisoned by the empire, a devastated Sabin wanted to leave there and called Edgar to go with him, but Edgar says that if they both left, what would become of Figaro? so he proposed tossing a coin, whoever won would decide his fate, Sabin wins and decides to leave and Edgar becomes king, Edgar appears and says that after 10 years Sabin was no longer a child and Sabin responds that his father would be proud of Edgar as king, the next day go to the stairs to the left of the castle’s entrance door and talk to the old man, choose the first option to go to the western part of the continent, leave the castle and head to the city to the west.

KOHLINGEN

If Locke and Celes are in the group, head to the larger house on the right and go down the stairs, you will find an old man and a young woman lying down, she is Rachel, Locke’s old girlfriend, who has been dead for some time, but her body is preserved thanks to some herbs used by the healer, since then Locke has been looking for a way to bring her back, leave there and head to the smaller house on the right, Locke will remember when he and Rachel were walking in a cave, Locke wanted to show him something , but when he was passing over a bridge, it started to collapse, Rachel jumps to save him and ends up falling into the abyss, a while later she recovers, but has amnesia, her father kicks Locke out and says he doesn’t want to see him anymore him close to his daughter, Locke decides to leave and a year later he learns that Rachel had died in an attack by the empire and that before she died she called for him, since then Locke blames himself for her death and says he shouldn’t have had her abandoned, these were the events I was talking about, if you only brought three characters, go to the cafe and find Shadow, he returns to the group for a certain amount of money, if you have four characters he doesn’t join at all, so Anyway, leave the city and head south, until you reach the city of Jidoor, the only thing to do here is buy new equipment, this is where the auction house is where you can get good items, but that’s just for later , leave the city and follow the east side of the mountain until you reach Zozo.

ZOZO

This place is very dangerous, a real “no man’s land”, full of thieves and murderers, some enemies are thick-skinned, so it’s good to have a good stock of potions and Phoenix Down, head to the house with the accessories store sign , go up the stairs and follow the line of thieves, now go up 3 floors and enter the room to get the Thief Glove accessory, equip it on Locke, go out and go back two floors, and jump to the other building, examine the pots to find items, go out and go up a floor, jump back to the other building, go up, enter the doors to find items, there is a guy blocking the stairs at the top, we will have to get rid of him:

BOSS: Dadaluna

Nothing too dangerous, he has a normal attack that is no problem and can also steal a lot of money from you and can run away, so finish him off quickly, with Sabin use Suplex, Locke steals a Jewel Ring and uses normal attacks, Edgar uses Drill and Celes uses Ice and Cure if necessary, when he loses good HP he will start using potions, tonics and protect or shell magic, but this is not a big problem either, keep attacking and he will soon fall.

Enter the next door and you will find Terra, who is totally in a trance, you will also find Esper Ramuh, he tells about the esper war that took place 1000 years ago, before humans and espers lived in harmony, but humans in their thirst for power, they tried to enslave the espers, so the espers created another world and hid in it, 20 years ago Gestahl and his army found this world and captured several espers and with their power built their empire, the espers then sealed the entrance to this world until So, the captured espers were taken to Vector, Ramuh escaped from there with other espers, but others are still there being drained, he asks you to save them and one of them can help Terra, Ramuh even says that there is a more effective way to use the powers of espers, which is when they transform into Magicite, which are, according to him, the corpses of espers, Ramuh gives the group three magicites, Kirin, Siren and Cait Sith, and he himself transforms into one, take them all and equip them, leave and the other members of the group arrive, they decide to go to Jidoor to think of a way to get to Vector, since there are no boats there, but before leaving, go to the house with the INN sign and go in, examine the clock, there is a code here, choose, 6 hours, 10 minutes and 50 seconds and a passage will open, follow it and get the Tool Chainsaw for Edgar, now go to Jidoor, enter the mansion at the end of the town and talk to the guy in black, he mistakes Celes for a certain Maria, who is an opera singer, when he leaves he ends up dropping a letter, pick it up, she says that a certain traveler will come to get Maria to marry him, the guy in green says that the traveler’s name is Setzer (pay attention to the music that starts playing, it is, in my humble opinion, one of the most beautiful songs from the entire Final Fantasy series that I have ever heard played) and is the owner of the only aircraft in the world, Locke says that if they could get this ship they could reach Vector, leave Jidoor and head south to Opera House.

OPERA HOUSE

Talk to the director, he doesn’t know what to do to prevent Setzer from kidnapping Maria and ruining the opera, Locke then suggests that Celes take Maria’s place, so they can catch him, the director refuses at first, Celes doesn’t like it very much either. of the idea, but with Locke’s insistence they both end up accepting, but, nearby, Ultros is back and promises to do something wrong, he throws an envelope on the floor, the opera then begins, when you have control of Locke, leave the box underneath (a lot of people get stuck here) and go to the room where Celes is, when you have control of her, read the opera guide on the table, go to the stage, now pay attention and choose the options in the following order:

first choice: Option 1
second choice: option 2
third choice: option 3

Then talk to the knight three times, take the flowers and go up to the balcony and press the action button, if you do everything correctly the rest of the opera will run normally, if you make a mistake, the opera will go to hell and you will have to do everything again, again in control of Locke, read the letter that is on the floor, it is the letter from Ultros, go to the box and talk to the director, after some more opera, everyone will see Ultros on the ceiling preparing to throw a weight on the stage, now comes the tricky part, you have 5 minutes to get to where Ultros is, if you don’t make it, the opera is over and you’ll have to do it all over again, go to the room on the right and talk to the guy to he gets out of the way, press the lever on the right, DO NOT PRESS THE OTHERS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, go back and take the left path, on the way to Ultros, there are some rats that if they touch you, a battle will start and you will waste time, try to dodge of them and if you can’t, end the fight as quickly as possible, arriving where Ultros is, everyone falls on the stage and the main actors faint, to the director’s despair, Locke still tries to save the opera, but Ultros is determined to ruin everything:

BOSS: Ultros

If you have Sabin and Edgar in the group this fight will be ridiculous, use Aura Bolt and Drill and Ultros falls in three turns at most, otherwise things can get a little complicated, as he has new attacks, one of which causes Kappa status and is really Annoyingly, Acid Rain hits everyone and causes 100 to 120 damage, nothing too serious, apart from the tentacle which isn’t as dangerous as the first time, it’s good that Locke already has the Cure spell, otherwise use Potions.

Ultros runs away again and Setzer takes Celes to his ship and is followed by the others, upon discovering that he was tricked Setzer refuses to help at first but the group insists, talk to him and he says he will help if Celes marries him, the which leaves Locke angry, but Celes proposes a coin toss, if she wins Setzer will help them, if he wins Celes will marry him, Celes ends up winning, but Setzer examines the coin and sees that it has two equal sides, even so agree to help the group and take you to the city of Albrog near Vector, go in and buy new equipment and healing items, Vector is north of Albroog, southwest is the city of Miranda and north of Vector is Tseng, more There’s nothing to do there now, head to Vector.

VECTOR

There is an old man behind some boxes, talk to him and he will distract the soldiers so you can enter the factory, climb the box and follow the beam, enter the factory through the north passage, enter the pipe on the left and get a Flame Sword , use hook to go back, go to two pipes, go down the one on the left to get an item, now go down the one on the right, go to the left and get the Thunder Sword, go to another conveyor, when it stops go up and go to a chest where there is a Gold helmet, then go left and at the top go straight until you find the Dragon Boots accessory that gives the Jump ability, equip it on Edgar, then enter the top door and get a Gold Shield, go back to the treadmill and continue through it, you will see Kefka throwing two almost dead espers into a garbage dump, go there, before talking to them enter the door on the right, recover the group and save, go out and talk to either of them, they will attack:

BOSS: Ifrit and Shiva

They alternate in attack, and can use Fire 2 and Ice 2 spells which can be a problem, against Ifrit use Ice with Celes, Pummel with Sabin and Drill with Edgar, against Shiva, use Fire with Celes, Fire Dance with Sabin and Drill with Edgar, as they have nothing to steal, Locke is responsible for healing, whether with items or spells.

When you defeat them they will transform into magicites, take them and go through the door on the right, go up a bunch of stairs until you reach a guy who blocks the path, but an obstacle:

BOSS: No. 024

He will basically only use spells and will use an attack where he changes element, that is, one time he will absorb fire, another time ice and so on, so avoid using spells on him, use Pummel and Drill to cause good damage , Celes uses Runic, Locke should steal his Bloody Sword and heal if necessary, follow this scheme and he won’t be a problem.

Go in and pull the lever at the end to free the espers, but they are almost dead and turn into magicite, you will gain the espers, Unicorn, Maduin, Shoat, Phantom, Carbuncle and Bismarck, a man will appear, he is Cid and he is the creator of the factory’s machines, Kefka arrives and says that Celes did a good job and tells her to hand over the magicites, Locke thinks that Celes betrayed them, but she denies it, Kefka calls the soldiers, but Celes uses magic and disappears along with them and Kefka, the building starts to collapse because the espers were giving it energy, Cid takes the others to the lowest part of the factory and says he will talk to the emperor to stop Kefka’s madness, save the game and talk to Cid, you will hear Kefka’s annoying laugh, so Cid pushes you in the cart, along the way, you will face some battles and then a boss:

BOSS: NO. 128

Besides him, he still has two arms, but you are not obliged to kill them, so focus your attacks on his body, he has powerful physical attacks and can paralyze a character, use Pummel with Sabin and Drill with Edgar, he has nothing Too important to steal, so Locke must focus on healing.

When you defeat him you will arrive at the factory entrance, go forward until you find Setzer, everyone goes to the ship, but Kefka won’t let them escape so easily:

BOSS: Crane x 2

They won’t be a problem as long as you don’t use thunder magic on them, otherwise they can use Megavolt which can kill the entire group, Drill and Pummel are the best options with Edgar and Sabin, Locke heals, and Setzer uses Slot, hoping for something good comes out.

Everyone heads to Zozo, where Terra is, the esper Maduin recognizes her as his daughter, Terra then recovers her memories, controlling Maduin, leave the cave and head north, you will find a fallen woman, choose the first option, talk to she in bed, Madeleine thanks them for saving her life, Maduin says that the others are afraid of her because she is a human, she then says that she will leave soon, the next day go to the entrance and Maduin will tell Madeleine not to go and they they end up staying together, from this union Earth was born, hence her ability to use magic, 2 years later, the empire invades the Esper World and starts taking everyone, the old man decides to seal the portal, Madeleine says she doesn’t mind staying and the elder leaves, try to leave and one of the espers says that this is Madeleine’s fault, and she runs away with Terra, go after her and talk to the elder and he says that the empire caught them, go to the entrance and Maduin, Madeleine and Terra will be sucked out of the Esper world, Gestahl takes little Terra with him. Terra recovers and the group decides to go to Narshe, Setzer says that his ship is available and he will teach you how to fly it, before heading to Narshe we go to some optional events, head to Tseng, at the end of the city there is a guy between the trees, talk to him and he says he picked up a strange stone in Vector and will sell it to you for 3000 Gil, accept it and you will win the esper Seraph, head to Jidoor and go to the auction house that is now working, here you can buy the Golem espers for 20000 Gil and Catcher for 10000 Gil, when you manage to buy them head to Narshe, Banan will say that even with the help of Narshe and Figaro it will be very difficult for them to defeat the empire, he then asks Earth to go to the World Wait and ask for their help, head to a bridge that is east of Vector, enter, here is an empire base, but strangely there is no one, in the only house here, there is a locked room, full of chests, we will return here later, exit the base on the other side and enter the cave.

CAVE OF SEALED GATE

Right at the beginning there is a weapon for Shadow, go down the stairs and get a weapon for Cyan, go down and you will reach a very annoying part, some wooden bridges that keep changing places and can drop you into the lava, causing damage, see where you should stay: First stay in the southernmost part, then go to the central stone, then go south and turn right at the first one, go forward to get the Cannon accessory for Setzer, go back to the central stone, now go to the most southern part north and then go east for an item, go south to the exit, take the path on the right and get an item, take the path on the left and go underneath, notice the apparently inaccessible item and also notice the lever at the top from the bridge, go forward until two levers press the one on the left to open a passage between, take the tent and save, go out and go to the lever on the bridge that I mentioned before and press it, the bridge will disappear, go to the chest that is now accessible and get the Genji Glove accessory that allows you to equip two weapons, go forward to another bridge with a lever, press it and go down the stairs, go through the tunnel and go east, go down the stairs and press the button, enter in the cave that opened to 4 chests, in one of them is the sword Atma Weapon (wouldn’t it be Ultima Weapon?), go back and go to the right, go up the stairs and press the lever, cross the bridge and press the other lever, go to the chest, there is a button in it, press it, go to the end and go down, continue forward and you will reach the portal to the Esper World, Terra goes to open the portal, then Kefka appears, he was following you, the others will try to delay you it while Terra opens the portal, some espers fly out of there, Kefka is thrown away, the group decides to return to the ship, leave the cave and head there, you will learn that the espers have gone to vector, the group follows go there, but the espers attack the ship that ends up crashing near Miranda and for now it won’t be able to fly, leave and head to Vector.

VECTOR

Everything is destroyed, go to the palace and Emperor Gestahl says he doesn’t want to fight anymore, Cid says that the espers came after his companions, when they found out what happened, they got angry and attacked Vector, the Emperor invites them to dinner , but Cid says that some soldiers don’t want peace and asks you to talk to them, you will have 4 minutes to talk to as many soldiers as possible, there are 24 in total, it’s difficult because some fight and waste your time, you you will see Kefka in prison, but he says he will take revenge, well, at the end of the four minutes you will go to the banquet, you will have a series of options to choose from, choose in this order: Third, First, Second, Second, second, second , second, second and finally, first, Gestahl says that the espers have gone to Crescent Island and asks Terra to go talk to them and will send General Leo to help them, Locke will go with Terra and asks the others to keep an eye on the empire, leave and if you managed to speak to the 24 soldiers and answered the questions correctly, as a prize Doma and South Figaro will be vacated and the door to the empire base that was locked will be unlocked, go there and party with the chests, in addition lots of money, there are great accessories, like Angel Feather, Angel Ring, Hermes and Reflect Ring, leave there and head to Albrog, there go to the port and talk to General Leo he says that Shadow and Celes will go along, go to the INN and sleep, during the night, Locke tries to apologize to Celes, but she is very hurt and doesn’t want to talk, the next day, go to the port and talk to Leo to leave, the night on the boat Terra talks to Leo and there is a atmosphere between the two, while Locke is seasick, the next day, arriving at Crescent Island, Leo says that two groups will be formed, he will go with Celes and Terra will go with Locke and Shadow, head north to a city on a peninsula.

THAMASA

Buy new equipment from the stores and head to the last house to meet Strago and Relm, who gets along very well with Interceptor, Shadow’s dog. The group asks about the espers, but Strago says he doesn’t know anything about it, Locke is suspicious, well, head to the INN and sleep, during the night Strago asks for your help, as Relm is trapped in a burning house, Strago tries to use Ice magic to put out the fire, the city elder says that using magic is prohibited, but Strago sends him to M@#$% and continues to be tempted, the other inhabitants of the city decide to help, but the fire is too strong, Strago decides to enter, Terra and Locke go with him (Shadow preferred to continue sleeping, damn!), inside the house , if you have a Frost Staff equipped on Strago and the Frost Sword on Terra, continue forward, if you touch the flames you will enter a battle, nothing to worry about, when you reach a part with two doors, enter the one on the right, two more doors, enter the one on the left for a Flame Staff and follow the one on the right, two more doors, enter the one on the right for a Frost Staff, follow the one on the left, you will arrive at the source of the fire:

BOSS: Flame Eater

His Fire 2 magic can cause serious problems for you, he can also use Fire 3, but it’s very difficult, so pay attention to the healing, he also makes some Bombs appear to protect you, finish them off using strago’s Aqua Breath, Shiva and Maduin help a lot here and if you already have the Ice 2 spell, this makes the fight a lot easier, in addition to the normal attacks with Frost Staff and Frost Sword equipped, when he is almost dying he will use Protect and Reflect, but he cannot reflect Aqua Breath, then keep using that to put out that flame.

The group finds Relm and Interceptor, but the heat is too much and everyone ends up fainting, when everything seems lost, Shadow appears and saves everyone, at Strago’s house he says that this is the city of wizards and that everyone here can use magic, but they kept it a secret because the mages were blamed for the esper war and were relentlessly persecuted, since then they have kept their abilities secret, Strago agrees to help them and says that they should go to the mountains west of the city, Relm also wants to go but Strago doesn’t let him, Shadow leaves the group and says he will look for the espers his way, head to the mountains, when you enter, take the Healing Staff and go left, notice a little person following you, keep going forward and you will arrive on some statues, Strago says that those are the gods who created magic in the world and that the true gods are in a world beyond reach, he also says that the espers must be nearby, as they were attracted by the power of the statues, try move forward and Ultros’ suitcase appears, apparently he hasn’t learned his lesson.

BOSS: Ultros

At first he is very weak, his attacks shouldn’t be any problem, use Fire 2 with Terra and Locke and let Strago take care of the healing, soon Ultros gets high and starts releasing Fire 3 straight, hang in there and soon Relm appears she says who wants to practice her painting and asks if Ultros doesn’t want her to paint her portrait, he refuses and Relm is devastated (yes!) Terra convinces Ultros to allow Relm to paint him and he ends up accepting (what a dumb octopus!), use the command Relm’s Sketch into Ultros and the battle is over.

Ultros runs away once again, go forward and fall into the hole in the lower left corner, continue forward and you will find the espers, Locke manages to convince them to talk to General Leo and seal peace, back in Thamasa, Leo asks apologies and everything seems to be going well for the end of the war, but then you hear that stupid laugh, yes, it’s him, Kefka appears and says he’s here at the Emperor’s command to get the magicites, he orders the soldiers to burn Thamasa, Meanwhile he turns the esper into magicite and the others can’t do anything, controlling Leo face Kefka, enjoy, this is the first and last battle in which you control the all powerful General Leo, use his special ability and the fight ends in three turns, but that was actually an illusion created by Kefka who mercilessly kills Leo, after doing his damage, he leaves, during Leo’s funeral, Terra says she would like to get to know him better, Interceptor arrives very injured and everyone thinks Shadow died, Locke is worried about those who stayed in Vector, but they managed to escape and reach Thamasa, Edgar says that Kefka and Gestahl are heading to the Esper World to get the statues of the gods, you can go there now , but I warn you that the enemies there are very powerful, so I advise you to get all the spells possible at the moment, there is a good place for that, a triangular island in the upper right part of the map, there is an enemy called Intangir who is always invisible, use the Doom magic on him to kill him instantly and gain 10 AP, but before dying he will release the Meteor magic on whoever killed him and if that person has HP below 1000 that’s it, if you want you can also go to the Veldt get new Rages for Gau, it’s also a good idea to buy some Shurikens and healing items, when you’ve done everything you had to do, get on the ship, take the direction and choose the first option to go to the Floating Continent, you’ll have to form a group with three characters, I advise you to take Terra, Locke and Sabin or Edgar or even Strago who can learn about three Lores here, I will take Terra, Sabin and Strago, you will face a series of battles against the empire’s air force, nothing too complicated , soon an old acquaintance will invade the ship, and he will not come alone:

BOSS: Ultros and Chupon

Ultros remains the same as always, he will only use tentacle, which causes reasonable damage, use Fire 2 and then he falls, now go after Chupon, use Ice 2 which is his weak point, I don’t remember him having any attack dangerous, so he uses Snooze and throws the group off the ship and you go straight to another boss:

BOSS: Air Force

Nothing alarming, his most dangerous attack hits everyone and takes about 400 HP from each, use Cure 2 on everyone to solve it, attack him with Bolt 2, Ramuh and Maduín and you shouldn’t have any problems.

THE FLOATING CONTINENT

Save your game, you will see Shadow fallen, talk to him and he joins the group, save and move forward, examine the blue button to get the Murasame for Cyan, a little further, examine another blue button and face Gigantos, which is very dangerous, finish him quickly, you will get the Sasuke Knife weapon for Shadow, go back and climb the ladder that appears shortly after the first blue button, here is a type of transport to another location, continue to a button, step on it to open the way, go forward to a transport, fall into it, there are two other transports, go to the one on the left and press the button at the bottom and another one at the top, go back through the transport and go to the middle one, go back to a staircase going down, go down and go to another button on the floor, a little further there is a blue button with a helmet for Relm, and below there is a transport to a save point, press the button on the floor and follow the transport above, go down the stairs and go If you want, you can return to the ship from here, but you will have to go all the way again, continue to the left and you will find the almighty:

BOSS: Atma Weapon

He has dangerous spells, such as Flare and Bio and other not so dangerous attacks, with Shadow throw Shurikens or Fuuma Shurikes if you have, with Sabin use Pummel or Aura Bolt, Terra uses Morph and then Fire 2 directly, Strago is responsible for healing and By recovering Earth’s MP, if it’s at a good level it won’t be that dangerous.

Shadow says he is not worthy to fight by his side and leaves, go up the stairs and find Gestahl and Kefka, Celes appears and asks the Emperor to stop, but he doesn’t listen and casts a spell that paralyzes the other characters, he sends Celes kill them and join them to dominate the world, but Celes attacks Kefka who becomes possessed and begins to invoke the power of the statues, Gestahl tells him to stop otherwise the world they want to dominate will be destroyed, but Kefka is totally crazy and sends Gestahl to M@#$%, Gestahl then decides to put Kefka to sleep, he launches his powerful spells but none have any effect, as Kefka is protected by the power of the statues, he then orders and the statues launch a beam that kills Gestahl, with him out of the way, Kefka starts moving the statues, Shadow appears and tries to stop him, meanwhile the others run away, you have 5 minutes to reach the end of the path, don’t worry, there’s plenty of time, and the path isn’t There are forks, at the end there is still a small obstacle:

BOSS: Nerapa

Right at the beginning he will use Death Sentence on the entire group, if Strago is in the group he can learn this attack, he also always has the Reflect status, so don’t waste time using spells, Strago’s Lores don’t work either, but he has It has very low HP, so use physical attacks and it falls in three turns at most, it absorbs fire, so avoid weapons that have this element.

Follow it to the end and you will have the option to jump onto the ship or wait, choose to wait, when there are 5 seconds left until the time is up, Shadow arrives and everyone escapes, if you don’t wait, Shadow dies and you won’t be able to have him new, anyway, the world is devastated by the power of the statues, the ship is destroyed and everyone on board falls into the void.

ON THAT DAY THE WORLD WOULD CHANGE FOREVER

1.2 – PART 2 – WORLD OF RUIN

On a lonely island, Celes wakes up from a 1 year coma, during this time Cid took care of her, he says that after the destruction of the world he woke up there, with her and other people, everything is dying, plants, animals, others are dying. they killed out of so much despair, Cid is very sick and asks Celes to catch some fish for him to eat, this is an interesting part of the game, you must go to the beach, just below the hut, catch the fish with the action button, if Don’t take fish to Cid he dies, to save him take the fish that moves faster, and give it to him, this will require a lot of patience from you, so let me know straight away: whether you save Cid or not, won’t affect anything in the future. game itself, and to be honest, it’s much more interesting to let him die because then you’ll see one of the most dramatic scenes in the Final Fantasy series: Celes’ suicide attempt, after finding Cid dead in bed Celes goes off a cliff and throws herself out of there, but doesn’t die, then she sees a seagull with a bandana tied to its paw, it’s Locke’s bandana, go back to the cabin and read Cid’s letter on the floor, he says she should look for her friends and that her freedom is in the basement of the hut whose stairs are near the stove, go down the stairs and find a raft, with it Celes goes to the mainland, when you get there don’t forget to equip it, you are close to Albrog, there is nothing to do there, unless you desperately need healing items, head north, you will pass by Kefka’s tower, where Vector used to be, that’s where the bastard is, but you can’t go in now, continue north until arrive in Tseng.

TSENG (OPTIONAL)

As soon as you enter, a tremor will occur, go forward and you will see Sabin, he asks Celes to go in and save the child inside while he holds the house, but he won’t last long, you have 6 minutes, there are great items, escape of all the battles and you will have time to catch them all, some chests contain monsters, use Fire 2 to kill them instantly, the child is downstairs, take him and leave quickly, if the time runs out it is Game Over, when leave Sabin returns to the group, leave Tseng and head a little further north to find a stable, rent a Chocobo and head to the far east.

MOBILZ (OPTIONAL)

When you arrive you will see a boy, follow him and you will find Terra, but she says she no longer feels like fighting and wants to take care of the children who lost their parents on the day of the disaster, leave and a boy warns you that the demon Phunbaba is in the area, Terra will face him, but none of her attacks damage him, so he defeats her, but it’s not Game Over yet, Celes will help her:

BOSS: Phunbaba

He uses attacks with Bolt and Bolt 3 and absorbs this element, with Celes using Fire 2 and Cure 2 when necessary, Sabin uses Suplex, which causes good damage, so he will run away.

Very hurt, Terra says she will remain here taking care of the children, leave and a boy gives you the magicite with Esper Fenrir, you can sleep in the bed in the old accessories store, leave Mobilz and head west until you reach Nikeah, buy new equipment and enter the CAFE, talk to everyone inside and go out, go up a little and you will see Edgar, but he is wearing different clothes and says his name is Geoff and that he doesn’t know you, follow him and Celes will hide on the ship, which goes to South Figaro, there go to the INN and talk to Geoff, leave the city and head to the cave to the north, you should already know the way, when you arrive at the beginning the thieves will enter through a secret passage, go after them jumping the turtle, keep going straight ahead and you will reach the Figaro Castle prison, go up the stairs and go down the other one right in front, keep walking until you reach a place with two other doors, get the items in the chests below, and go through the left door to get a Royal Crown, go back and go through the middle door, you will find Geoff, yes, he is really Edgar and he asks for your help to kill a boss:

BOSS: Tentacle x 4

Annoying, very annoying, their attacks are a pain in the ass, there is one that slows them down, another in which they capture a character and drain HP, in addition to using Poison and Bio, the top two are weak against physical attacks, the two on the bottom are weak against magic, finish them off first, use Fire 2 on the one on the left and Ice 2 on the one on the right, when they fall use Drill with Edgar and Pummel with Sabin on the two that remain, Celes heals and uses normal attacks.

Edgar says he used the thieves to get into the castle and that’s why he had to pretend, go through the door ahead, the thieves cleaned the chests, but examine the statue to get a Soul Saber, leave there and go talk to the old man who controls the castle to go to the Kohlingen region, before leaving there is a new Tool for Edgar for sale, go to Kohlingen and enter the INN to find Setzer, he is not very excited to fight, but Celes manages to convince him, Setzer says that first of all, they need a ship and asks them to accompany him to Daryl’s Tomb, which is a little south of the city.

DARYL’S TOMB

Enter the upper right door, examine the tombstone and go forward, press the lever and go back, enter the door below to get a Genji Helmet, exit and go to the lower middle door, go straight down (ignore the lever, for now), examine all the tombstones and go back, enter the upper left door, examine the tombstone and choose the options in this order: fourth, first and third, exit and enter the door just below, go down the stairs and get the Royal Vest, Don’t enter the door now, go through the right wall to find the Exp. Egg accessory that doubles the experience gained by whoever equips it, now enter the door and press the lever, go back to the lever I told you to ignore and press it a, use the turtle to get to the other side, go forward to a save point, examine the chest just above it to face an optional boss:

BOSS: Presenter

There are two targets, the head and the shell, DO NOT ATTACK THE SHELL, or it will use Giga-Volt which is very dangerous, the head uses Aqua Breath and other less dangerous attacks, use Fire 2 and you shouldn’t have any problems, you will win the Dragon Claw for Sabin.

Take the other item from the chest and move forward, examine the pillar ahead to face another boss, this one is not optional:

BOSS: Dulahan

He has a high HP and at the beginning he uses Lv? Holy, he also uses Holy magic which can cause serious problems, in addition to the physical attack which causes reasonable damage, use Fire 2 with everyone, Setzer’s Gil Throw also helps, pay attention to healing.

Follow the passage that opens, Setzer begins to have memories of his friend Daryl, they used to race their ships, one day Daryl went flying and was never seen again, a year later the wreckage of his ship was found on a distant island, Setzer repaired it and left it here, he never intended to use it again, but now the FALCON is needed. (the music that starts playing is amazing), now that you have a ship if you want you can go to Kefka Tower, but considering that you are around level 30 and with only 4 (or maybe even 3) characters, doing this it would be suicide at the very least, so let’s look for the other characters, the rest of the espers and other things, a seagull appears and Celes tells Setzer to follow it and the ship stops near Miranda, get in there and head to the house on the right, talk to the young woman and she says that she is receiving flowers and letters from her boyfriend in Mobilz, but Mobilz was destroyed, so that would be impossible, when reading the letter, Celes recognizes the handwriting as being from Cyan, the young woman asks you to deliver the letter to the pigeon, he is right next to the house, give the letter and see where he goes, head there.

ZOZO (OPTIONAL)

The enemies here remain the same, so you shouldn’t have any problems, talk to the guy near the INN and buy a solvent for 1000 Gil (what a steal!), head to the CAFE and go up to the door that was previously blocked, with the solvent you can go through and enter a cave, get the items from the chests and go down the southernmost staircase, go around and go up, go through the leftmost exit to get the Gold Hairpin accessory, which reduces the MP cost by half, go back and take the other exit, cross the bridge and enter the cave, go to the Save Point and save, press the button on the floor and if you want, open the chest just above, one of the eight super dragons will come out of it and fly in circles, just tap it to face:

BOSS: Storm Dragon

Pedreira, I don’t advise facing him now, he uses attacks with Autum Leaves and Kamaitachi, which hit everyone and cause absurd damage, not to mention his no less dangerous normal attack, have two characters using Cure 2 non-stop and Life always someone dies (believe me, this will happen a lot.) and two others using Bolt 2, or come back later, when you have Bolt 3 and Cure 3, this makes things easier, well you know, when you beat him you will win great armor.

Go south to the exit, you will arrive in a room full of flowers and with a letter, read it if you want, but it doesn’t matter much, go a little further and you will find Cyan, he was writing to Lola in place of her boyfriend who died in Mobilz, he returns to the group and says that he found Gau in Miranda and that he said he would get stronger in the Veldt, leave Zozo, but before going to the Veldt, stop by the island where Celes was with Cid and go to the beach to get the Esper Catcher, now form a group with three characters and fight in the Veldt until Gau appears and returns to the group, if the group has four people he won’t return, if you want you can get more Rages for him, when you’re ready , head to the cave in this same location.

VELDT BASEMENT (OPTIONAL)

When you enter you will see an interceptor, follow it, there is no secret here, just move forward getting all the chests, in one of them there is a weapon (Sorry, I forgot the name) very important in an event later, be sure to get it – There, go to a lever and pull it to open a passage, go through it and you will see Shadow fallen, go forward to a save point, follow the passage at the bottom and you will reach where Shadow is, but a monster attacks you:

BOSS: Mr. Behemoth

Almost as annoying as the Storm Dragon, it starts using Holy, it also uses Ice 2 and 3, so you will need to heal a lot here, use Fire 2, Ifrit and any fire element attack, after a while it disappears and another appears from behind, but little changes, keep attacking in the same way and he will soon fall.

The group will take Shadow to Thamasa to rest, enjoy it and rest yourself too, you must need it, leave the city and enter again, go to where you left Shadow and he will no longer be there, head to a new location that appeared north of Kohlingen, This is the coliseum and look who we meet, good old Ultros, but he doesn’t want to fight anymore and he’s the receptionist here, talk to the guy at the middle door to fight in the coliseum, choose the first option, you must bet an item, depending on your choice, you will fight a different enemy, some are really powerful, and most of the time the one who appears is Chupon, you can’t beat him even with Game Shark, so for now, bet the dagger you picked up in the Veldt Cave and you will fight with Shadow, choose a character, you will notice that you cannot control him and this complicates things a lot, but in this case don’t worry, as Shadow doesn’t offer the slightest difficulty, after beating him, he go back to the group, go to Mobilz, go to the house where the children are and talk to them, go to the house on the left and talk to Dean, go where the dog entered and find Terra and Katrin, after the conversation a boy arrives saying that Phunbaba is back:

BOSS: Punbaba

Nothing much, most of his attacks don’t cause any problems, use Fire 2 and other powerful attacks, then he uses an attack that removes two characters from the battle, Terra then transforms into an esper and comes to help, use Fire 2 with her and the attacks The most powerful of the remaining characters, Phunbaba should only use Bolt 2 which doesn’t do much damage, it takes a while, but soon it goes down, definitely.

Terra finally understands that she must fight to protect those she loves and returns to the group, leave and head to a star-shaped mountain north of Tseng, stop the ship in the middle of it and press the landing button, form two groups, I used the following Training:

Group 1: Terra, Edgar, Shadow and Gau
Group 2, Celes, Sabin, Cyan and Setzer

PHOENIX CAVE

Group 1: Enter the cave and step on the button ahead.
Group 2: Enter and follow the passage that has opened, try to open the chest on the left and you will fall into a hole, go back down the stairs and press the button, take the item in the chest and go to the button above where group 1 is.
Group 1 1: Go through the right passage and press the button ahead.
Group 2: Go to the chest and open it, it is empty, it will be like this with all the chests in this place, but open them all, go to the southernmost button.
Group 1: Go down the stairs and go left, press the button and open the chest, go right to a dead end, open the chest on the way.
Group 2: Go down the stairs to the northwest, go up to a button, press it.
Group 1: Climb the ladder and go down to another one right next to it, press the button.
Group 2: Climb the ladder and save, press the button above.
Group 1: Go forward and go down the stairs, jump across the rocks and open the chest on the way, go up the stairs and press the lever.
Group 2: Go to the rightmost button.
Group 1: Go through the passage that opened, recover and if you want, face the second of the eight super dragons:

BOSS: Red Dragon

Not as annoying as the Flying Dragon, but don’t be careless, it uses spells like Fire 2, Fire 3 and even Merton, leave one character always ready to heal and the others use Ice 3, with Shadow throw ice element items, with Gau uses a rage that has ice or water attacks, defeating him will give Cyan a weapon.

Get the Horn accessory from the chest and head to the button above the other two. Group 2: Follow the passage that opened and go down the stairs, get the Ribbon accessory from the chest that protects against all negative statuses, continue forward until you reach the two bottom buttons, step on one of them. Group 1: Step on the other button to open the way, continue forward to find Locke, he was looking for the legendary Phoenix that could bring people back to life, he wanted to use it to resurrect Rachel, the group heads to Kohlingen, there Locke uses the Phoenix and Rachel wakes up, but says she has little time and will soon die again, but before leaving, she thanks Locke for all the joy he gave her and says she will never forget him and will love him. him forever, but asks him to leave the pain aside and rediscover love, Rachel disappears and you win the Esper Phoenix, when you leave Locke finds Celes and returns to the group, he also gives you the items that were in the empty chests of the Phoenix Cave (but only the ones you have opened.), leave and head to the triangular island where Itangir faced.

TRIANGLE ISLAND (OPTIONAL)

Walk around here until you find a monster that has an attack that swallows a character, let it swallow everyone and you will end up in a cave, go down the stairs (the top one is the exit), press the action button to jump from one bridge to another, be careful with the guys who are walking back and forth, if you touch them you will fall into a hole, if that happens, there are two chests down there, pick them up and press the button on the floor, go up the stairs and try again , get the items in the chests, including a Genji Armor and an accessory for Relm that allows her to use the Control skill, go down the stairs and save, move forward and you will find a dangerous part, the ceiling goes up and down and if If you’re not careful, you could be crushed, pay attention to the holes in the ceiling and stay in them, pick up the items and follow them to the end, go down and you’ll reach a part full of open chests, they serve as a springboard, go down to the middle and then go up, go right and then down, press the button, and go right, take the left path to get a Thunder Shield, go back and go up in the middle, then right, go down, right, jumping through the chest and go to Through the door you will find Gogo the mime and he joins the group, exit the cave and head to Narshe.

NARSHE (OPTIONAL)

Form a group with 3 people, Locke must be in it, enter Narshe and you will find the Lone Wolf, after talking to him, go to the room where there were a lot of chests and open the one that was missing, but it is empty, go to the weapons store, go through the other door and talk to the old man, he has the esper Ragnarok, he says that if you want you can transform it into a great sword, choose the first option to get magicite, because it gives you the all powerful Ultima magic, leave there and go to the mines through Jun’s house, go to the place where the moggles lived and you will find Mog, talk to him and he joins the group, now go back and go through the north entrance from the mines, take the path to the right, go down a little and take the stairs, go straight ahead to the place where you faced Kefka, there is another one of the eight super dragons, don’t face him now, save the game and go forward until you find waiting for the start of the game:

BOSS: Tritorch

Very Easy, he only uses Raspir and very rarely Ice 3, you shouldn’t have any problems, just use Fire 3 and he goes down in 4 turns at most.

You will gain the Tritorch esper, and it will open a passage to a secret location, don’t go down now, go back to the save point, recover the group and go face the dragon:

BOSS: Ice Dragon

The easiest of the eight dragons, it uses Ice 2, Absolute Zero (just Ice 3 with another name) and another attack that freezes a character, use Fire on it to resolve, attack with Fire 2 and if you already have it, Fire 3 and stay tuned healing, when you win you will gain the Force Shield which greatly increases your magical defense.

Now follow the previous passage, when you fall, enter the cave just above you, now go to the cave on the right, go across the bridge and turn right, go forward, in the next room, there is a lever, don’t press it , walk a little further and you will find another lever, press it and you will fall into a hole, examine the skull sculpture, to get the Terrato esper, then a creature attacks you:

BOSS: Yeti (Umaro)

Very easy, don’t even worry about your attacks, use Fire 2, Fire 3 and Bio and it drops in two turns at most.

Talk to him and Mog forces him to join the group, leave Narshe and fight in various environments with Mog (Fields, forests, deserts…) to learn new Dances, when finished, put Sabin in the group and look for some trees forming a cross near Narshe, go there and you will find Duncan, Sabin’s master, he will teach you Bum Rush, his most powerful Blitz, in fact you could learn it when you reach a certain level (65, I think), but I don’t think you want to wait that long, do you? Head to Jidoor.

JIDOOR (OPTIONAL)

Go to the mansion at the end of the city, it’s all dark here, try to go up the stairs at the end and something won’t let you, read the diary that appeared on the table and then examine the lamp next to the stairs, go up the stairs and examine the last painting on the left, you will face an easy battle and a door will appear, go inside, go down the stairs and try to go to the other door, you will be sucked into the painting, another easy battle, go to two doors, in the one on the left there is an armor for Strago, take it and go through the other door, now you will see three doors that open and close alternately and a small space behind them, there is the Dead Ring accessory, enter the left door, go forward and you You will come out in a room full of floating chests if you step on their shadow, they fall on top of you and you will face a battle, when you win you will win the item in the chest, there is nothing interesting, but you must open them all, then examine the painting in the middle, win the battle and enter through the door that opened, save and enter the door on the right, you will find the owner of the mansion and Relm, he hired her to paint a painting but a demon took over him, let’s go:

BOSS: Chadarnook

He uses a lot of electric attacks, have protection against this, if you want to make the fight much easier it’s good to have Terra and Sabin in the group, with Terra use Morph and Fire 3 for 9999 damage, with Sabin use Bum Rush, for around 6500 damage , the others must heal and also use fire attacks.

Upon defeating him, the owner of the mansion says that they can take the stone he bought at auction, examine the bookshelf to get the esper Starlet, Relm returns to the group, but promises to return and finish the painting, leave Jidoor, put Join the group and head to a tower surrounded by mountains, near Nikeah, here is the Fanatics Tower, which has, in my opinion, the most dangerous enemies in the game, at the moment the only thing to do here is to get Strago, who will only come back if Relm is in the group, we will come back here later, for now, put Strago and Relm in the group and head to Thamasa, there Relm says that an old friend of Strago is injured, Strago goes to see him and he says that he was injured by the monster Hidon, who Strago has always hunted, but never managed to defeat, this time he is determined to avenge his friend, leave Thamasa and head to the island just north of there and enter the cave, everything is dark here, you can only see in a small surrounding area, but that’s not a big problem, there are also some buttons that if you step on you will be transported to another part of the cave, well, as soon as you enter you will find a chest alive, and hungry, it likes to eat corals and just He will get out of the way if you give him some, walk around the cave and collect as many corals as you can and give them to him until he is satisfied and releases the passage, when that happens, move forward to find the demon.

BOSS: Hidon

Annoying, he uses attacks like Poison and Bio and also Grand Train, which can cause serious problems, but which is also Strago’s best Lore, so hope he uses it at least once, he comes accompanied by some monsters that fill the bag, one of them has Reflect, finish them off quickly and use Fire 2 and 3 on Hidon, if you defeat him without him using Grand Train, you can come back here and face him again, as many times as you want.

Upon returning to Thamasa, Strago tells his friend that he managed to defeat the monster, you soon discover that it was all a setup by Relm with Strago’s friend, anyway leave Thamasa and head to Doma with Cyan in the group.

DOMA (OPTIONAL)

Walk around the castle looking for items, go to a room where you will be asked if you want to sleep, answer yes and the next day, everyone except Cyan wakes up, then three strange little boys appear who say they are the lords of sleep and that the Cyan’s soul is now theirs, you will enter Cyan’s dream and start with just one character, follow until you find three doors, enter the one on the left to recover a character, continue entering the doors until you reach a place with two, enter the one on the right To recover the other character, enter the next door and the next, go down the stairs and try to enter the door below, the three will appear to try to stop you:

BOSS: Larry, Curly and Moe

Nothing too complicated, finish off the one who remains in the air first, as he heals and resurrects the others, use spells and ice attacks on him, the one who remains behind uses Reflect, it’s good to have Sabin in the group and use Bum Rush, use your best spells on others, they also have an attack that petrifies a character, in addition to spells like Ice 3.

Enter through the door and you will end up on the ghost train, go left, there is a carriage with a lever right at the beginning, pull it and quickly go to the chest before the box blocks it again, get a Genji Glove, further on there is another chest, but the open chest won’t let you pass, take the weight from the chest in the corner and use it on it, get the Flame Shield, press the last lever and notice the six chests, three of them will close, memorize them, go to the next car and there will be three levers, let’s call them 1, 2 and 3 from right to left, press in that order, 1, 3, 1, 2, 1 and 3 and follow the bottom passage until another six chests close the same chests as the previous carriage and pull the lever above to open the way, enter the next carriage and save, go to the next carriage, do not press any lever, simply exit and you will be in the Narshe mines with Magiteck armors, exit this cave and follow Until next time, when you enter, don’t go forward, go back and follow Cyan across the bridge that will fall, you will return to Doma’s castle, Cyan’s wife and son appear and say that his soul is still very tormented and a demon is Taking advantage of this, they then ask them to help him, save and go to the throne room to find the demon.

BOSS: Wrexsoul

Annoying as f@#$%&, he comes with two assistants who use Bolt 3 and are always with Reflect and if you kill them they come back the next turn, right at the beginning he will possess a character and will only leave when that character die and the worst thing is that you can’t know which character it was because he doesn’t undergo any apparent changes, so you’ll have to choose a character and attack him, if it’s the wrong character, resurrect him and try with another until Wrexsou appears , so use physical attacks, it is resistant to magic and absorbs fire, Bum Rush, Drill, Gil Throw are the best options, it is also good to have characters equipped with Genji Glove and if you already have the Ultima magic it would be of great help, try to finish it with him quickly, before he possesses a character again, either way, this promises to be one of the longest and most stressful battles in the game.

Finally Cyan gets rid of all his pain, the souls of his wife and son can finally go in peace, but they say they will always be with Cyan and transform into the sword Masamune, Cyan will gain all the Swordtechs he has not yet learned, go to the throne room to get the esper Alexander, head to the ship and fly around the world until you get into a battle with Doom Gaze, this can take a long time to happen, but you might be lucky and he appears quickly, anyway:

BOSS: Doom Gaze

Terrible, perhaps the most difficult boss in the game, if you are going to face him morally, but there is a very easy way to finish him, as soon as the fight starts he will use Doom on the entire group, if you are lucky enough to least two survive, use the Vanish and Doom spells on him in that order and he dies instantly and you get the esper Bahamut, the best in the game, you can also use X-Zone instead of Doom which also works, but you don’t win Wait, in any case, don’t try to kill him any other way, because either way, you’ll either get the beating of your life or he’ll run away and it might take you hours to find him again, if you’re patient. .

Go to Figaro Castle, talk to the old man to go to the other side, halfway through the castle will hit something, choose the second option and go to the dungeon, enter the cave through the last cell on the right, go south and take the chests on the way, at the rightmost entrance there is a chest, and inside it:

BOSS: Master Pug

Be careful, this is a more powerful version of the Pug that you may already know, it has the same attacks and much more HP, use your most powerful attacks and spells and have a character always ready to revive, it’s good to already have Life 2 here, at the same time. Beating him earns Locke a gun.

Go back and go through the middle entrance and go down, get a weapon for Setzer and go straight to the left (a lot of people get stuck here, be careful), you will reach a staircase, before going down, get some items from the place go down and you will arrive at:

ANCIENT CASTLE (OPTIONAL)

1000 years ago a terrible battle was fought here, the esper Odin fought bravely for this city but ended up being turned into stone by a powerful sorcerer and the city was destroyed, go through the door on the left and open the chest to face a boss:

BOSS: Katana Soul

Be careful with his ninja attacks, similar to Shadow’s, have a character always healing, use your best physical attacks such as Bum Rush, Quadra Slice, Drill, Gil Throw among others, when you defeat him you get the Offer Ring accessory that makes so that a normal attack hits the enemy four times, equip this on Sabin or Cyan and also equip a Genji Glove, for an 8-hit normal attack.

Exit and enter the main door, go forward to the throne room, examine the statue to get the Odin esper, go up a little and enter the first door on the right, to get a Gold Hairpin and an accessory for Umaro, go back and stay in front of the statue, right where you are, walk down and press the action button, until you hear a noise, go through the door on the right and read the book on the shelf, it’s the queen’s diary, it seems like she was in love by Odin, but romance was prohibited, go down the stairs and if you want, face the room of the eight super dragons:

BOSS: Blue Dragon

He has a water attack that hits everyone and causes about 1200 HP of damage to each one, use Cure 3 immediately, Acid Rain also hits everyone but doesn’t do as much damage, again here physical attacks will be the best option, use the The same scheme you used against Katana Soul and you shouldn’t have many problems, when you beat him you will win the Zantesuken sword which can cause sudden death.

Go ahead and examine the queen’s statue, the Odin esper will transform into the Raiden esper and instead of the Meteo spell, you can learn the Quick spell, but don’t worry, there is another esper that teaches Meteo and much faster, there is no There’s nothing else to do here, but this is a good place to evolve espers, so if you want, spend a little time fighting here, when you’re satisfied, go all the way back to the ship, head to the Opera House and go to the box , talk to the manager and follow the path to the right, talk to the guy to get him out of the way and press the third lever from left to right, you will fall onto the stage and face the fifth of the eight super dragons:

BOSS: Dirt Dragon

Resistant to almost all types of magic, the best thing here is to have Sabin, Cyan or Edgar and two mages just to heal and revive, their attacks are Quake, which hits everyone and takes away around 1500 HP, Magnitude 8, a little less terrible, In addition to the normal, very powerful attack, use Bum Rush, Drill or Quadra Slice, I don’t remember now what the prize is for beating him.

Now go back to the ship and form a group with Terra, Celes, Relm and Strago, your best mages, and let’s face the nasty Fanatics Tower.

FANATICKS TOWER (OPTIONAL)

This place has an interesting feature, you can only use spells and items here, not even normal attacks are allowed, so characters like Sabin, Cyan or Edgar will be totally useless, the enemies here are extremely tough and use the most powerful spells in the game. , so be very careful, another thing is that there isn’t even a Save Point here, these are the only difficulties in the place (very few, huh?), as the path to the top has no secret, when you enter, go up the stairs and enter the doors for great items, in the first there is an accessory that protects against fatal magic, in the second there is a Genji Shield, in the third there is the sixth of the eight super dragons, let’s go:

BOSS: White Dragon

It’s actually quite easy, he has little HP and uses Holy and Dispel, which aren’t that dangerous, use Ultima a couple of times and other spells like Fire 2 to complete the job, when you beat him you get a Holy Lance, the best game launch.

Get a weapon from the chest for Shadow and continue going up, at the next door get some armor, go up and you’ll reach the top, enter the room and get the wonderful Gem Box accessory, which allows you to use two spells in one turn, equip it on Earth and recover all your characters, go out and the fanatics will surround you, they want the treasures back and send their boss to defeat them:

BOSS: Mage Master

To defeat this guy you will need some little things like the Ultima and Auto-Life spells, as well as having the Gem Box equipped, this guy uses all the powerful spells you can imagine, Fire 3, Ice 3, Bolt 3, Flare , Holy and so on, as soon as the battle starts use Auto-Life on all members of the group, also use Reflect to counter most of their spells, heal yourself with elixirs and X-potions and with Terra send 2 Ultimates at sequence and if you run out of MP use Osmosis, he keeps changing elements and can absorb different types of magic at a time, so be careful not to cure him, before he dies he will use the Ultima magic, which will kill the entire group, if you have used it Auto-Life, don’t even worry about it, otherwise GAME OVER.

Go all the way back out of the tower, now all you can do is get the missing Lores for Strago, the missing Rages for Gau and fight in the Colosseum to try and get some more good items, if you want to climb a little higher level, there is a forest near the Veldt, there you find an enemy called T-Rex, which is the one that gives the most experience in the game, but they are very difficult, so always save before each battle, do everything you want. think you should and when you’re ready head to Kefka Tower, you must stand on top of the tower with the ship and press the landing button, the group comments that the statues of power are there and if they are destroyed the magic will cease to exist in the world and the espers will disappear, including Terra, well, now you must form three groups, here’s the formation I used, basically each group is made up of a wizard, a strong guy, a fast guy and a balanced guy, let’s go to them:

Group 1: Earth, Cyan, Gau and Strago;
Group 2: Celes, Sabin, Locke and Mog;
Group 3: Relm, Edgar, Shadow and Setzer.

If you want to use Gogo and Umaro, I recommend replacing Locke and Setzer respectively, anyway let’s go after that bastard Kefka!

KEFKA TOWER (FINAL DUNGEON)

The last, longest and most difficult dungeon in the game, I recommend being at least level 45 to walk here and have the best equipment possible, the enemies are extremely dangerous and the bosses are not far behind, two enemies deserve special attention, Demon Dragons always appear in pairs and use Southern Cross which causes around 3500 damage to the entire group, if you encounter them, run away like crazy, because unless you are at a level above 70, it is almost impossible to beat them , another dangerous group is made up of two ninjas and a sorceress, the sorceress isn’t even that dangerous, the problem is the ninjas who will counterattack any of your attacks by throwing very powerful weapons that will kill any character they hit, so it’s best to run from them too.

Group 1: Go forward and get the Hypno Crown from the chest, enter the door on the left, go forward to the next door, get the weapon for Setzer from the chest and continue straight ahead, you will soon reach a dead end.
Group 2: Go forward and get the Minerva armor from the chest, continue forward and you will reach two doors, go to the top one to get a Tack Star, now go to the bottom one and recover your group, in the Last cell you can, if want, face:

BOSS: Atma

Well, here come your attacks, Fire 3 and Ice 3 can kill if used on a single character and cause reasonable damage if used on everyone, Northern Cross which hits everyone and causes damage of 1000 to 1200, I don’t know if there are others, because on me he only used these, with Celes use Fire 3 or Ulitma, if you already have it, the same goes for Locke and Mog, you can try to steal a Blood Sword from her, but it’s not worth it, Sabin always uses Bum Rush, no use Holy because it absorbs, as always, pay attention to healing and you shouldn’t have any problems.

A Save Point will appear, save and enter the bottom door, go to the next door and enter through the pipe (literally) on the left, take the Force Shield from the chest and go down, to the left there is a Force Armor, go back and enter the door on the left (be careful, a lot of people get lost here), press the button on the floor so group 1 can go through, get the Ribbon from the chest and leave, go through the door on the right and go forward to find the seventh of the eight super dragons:

BOSS: Gold Dragon

He only uses thunder spells, so have protection against this element and you shouldn’t have any problems, use Ultima, Holy, Bum Rush and if you have Mog with a Holy Lance and Dragon Boots, use direct Jump, when you beat him you win the Crystal Orb accessory, very good for mages.

Keep moving forward until you reach a room with two buttons on the floor, step on one of them.
Note: In this area there is an enemy called Gama who, when defeated, can give you the Air Anchor, Edgar’s last Tool, which is rubbish, but…
Group 3: Go down and enter the first door on the left, go forward for two chests, go back and enter the door at the bottom, go forward to a pipe, go through it and go to the save point, save, recover and walk some more to face a boss.

BOSS: Hell

It’s an improved version of Nº 128 that you faced in Vector, it uses attacks from the fire element, have protection against this element, its normal attack is very powerful, have a character always ready to heal and revive, use spells like Ultima, Holy, Flare and attacks like Drill and Gil Throw, if you want you can play some weapons with Shadow.

Go forward, get the megaelixir from the chest and examine the chest with the red glow, go up the conveyor belt and get a weapon for Relm, enter the door next to the glowing chest and go forward to find the last of the eight super dragons.

BOSS: Skull Dragon

Easy, after all he is an undead, use a phoenix down on him and the fight is over, don’t even worry about his attacks, when you beat him you will win the last esper, Crusader, but only if you have defeated all eight dragons.

Continue forward until you reach where group 2 is, step on the button.
Group 1: go straight ahead until you get to where groups 2 and 3 are, enter the door that opened and go left, go down and switch to group 2, exit the button and switch to group 1, push the weight so that it lands on the button.
Group 2: Go through the middle door and then go to the right, repeat the previous procedure.
Group 3: Go to the middle corridor and go down, press the button and go back, go through the door above and step on the button, with the other groups step on the other two buttons to open a door, go through it with group 3 and get ready if for yet another boss:

BOSS: Guardian

I can’t say if he has any powerful attack, because he didn’t use any on me, the most dangerous one was Ultros’ tentacle attack which took about 1100 from everyone, anyway, with Relm use Ultima or Bolt 3, Shadow throws weapons, Edgar uses Drill and Setzer GP Throw, he doesn’t seem to be very dangerous, but don’t underestimate him.

Recover, save and move forward to face the first statue:

BOSS: Poltergeist

Terrible, his attacks can kill the entire group instantly, they are Aero (the least dangerous), Meteo, Merton, and an attack that hits a character and kills him instantly, the Auto-Life magic would be of great help here, with Relm use Ultima without mercy, with Shadow, don’t hesitate to play your best weapons, Edgar and Setzer must heal and revive when necessary and if you have a break use your best attacks to help, good luck, when you defeat him you get a Shinning Lance, team on Edgar.

Enter the next door, recover, save, jump into the hole and step on the button. Group 1: go down and enter through the next door, go forward to face the second statue:

BOSS: Doom

Not as dangerous as Poltergeist, but don’t be careless, it uses Ice 3, 1000 HP damage to everyone, or instant death if used on just one, Barrier blocks a random element and can be learned by Strago, its normal attack is very powerful, be careful, with Terra use Quick and if you have the Gem Box equipped, send 4 Ultimas in a row at the bastard, Strago uses Grand Train and heals if necessary, Cyan should also heal and use assistance spells (his attacks are not very useful here) , if you have it, use the Rage Sacred Dragon with Gau which is very useful here, when you beat him you get a weapon for Cyan, equip it.

Recover, save, move forward, fall into the hole and step on the button. Group 2: Go down and enter the next door, go forward to face the last statue:

BOSS: Goddess

Very annoying, she really likes to use negative status attacks, there is one where she sets a character to attack others and the effect only ends if that character dies, it’s good to have two characters equipped with Ribbon, in addition she uses Bolt 2 and 3 that causes very high damage and an attack that hits everyone and causes around 1300 damage, it is very resistant to elemental magic, so use Ultima or Flare with Celes (don’t use Holy, it absorbs), Bum Rush with Sabin, Locke uses normal attacks and heals if necessary, Mog uses assistance spells, such as Shell and Haste 2 and must also heal, when she loses a good part of her HP she will use an attack similar to Death Sentence, which hits everyone and not even Ribbon can avoid, if the counter reaches zero everyone turns into zombies and it’s GAVE OVER, when she does this attack her without mercy and don’t worry about healing, when you beat her you win the sword Excalibur, which can be equipped on Earth, Celes or Edgar, you decide.

The three statues were destroyed, but the magic did not disappear, as Kefka still holds their power, recover, save, move forward, fall into the hole and step on the button, the time has finally come to put an end to Kefka’s madness , but before reaching it, you will have to go through some obstacles, in this final battle you will be able to use the 12 characters that you brought here, you must choose the order in which they will fight, the first four start the fight, you will face four battles in total, one after the other, if one, two or three characters die in a battle and are not revived before it ends, other characters take their place, but if all four characters die at once, it’s GAME OVER, no crying nor candle, here is the order I chose, but you can make your own order:
Terra
Relm
Sabin
Shadow
Celes
Strago
Edgar
Cyan
Locke
Setzer
Mog
Gau

I put the strongest ones at the front and put the weakest ones last, but if you want to do it the other way around, it’s up to you, but I don’t advise it, anyway, good luck:

BOSS: ?????

Nothing too complicated, to start with use Float on the whole group, he uses very powerful normal attacks, send two Ultimas with Earth, Bum Rush with Sabin and throw weapons with Shadow, Relm must heal and also use Ultima when he can, before falling he will use Quake, there’s the reason for Float right at the beginning, in this battle I ended up losing Shadow and Celes took his place.

BOSS: ?????

This time there are about 5 or 6 targets, I didn’t stop to count, they use Confuse, Bolt 3, Fire 3, Ice 3, Merton and a physical attack that hits random characters 10 times, in addition to Dispel which isn’t a big problem, with Terra and Sabin, use the same scheme as before, Relm and Celes should heal using Haste 2 and also Ultima when possible.

BOSS: ?????

There are two targets, a guy and a woman, the woman has little HP but recovers 9999 from both of them each turn, so finish her off quickly, the guy starts using Tornado, but he can also use Merton, use the same scheme as before and I advise using Auto Life on the characters, even so I ended up losing Terra in this battle and Strago took his place.

FINAL BOSS: Kefka

For a final boss, Kefka is not that difficult, let’s go to his attacks, Fallen One reduces everyone’s HP to 1, use Cure 3 immediately, he also uses Merton which can exterminate the entire group, but if you have protection against fire , don’t even worry about that and a normal attack that will kill the character that is hit unless he has 9999 HP, With Strago use Grand Train and heal, with Relm use Ultima and heal if necessary, Sabin uses Bum Rush and heals if necessary, Celes uses Haste 2 and Auto-Life on everyone and heals if necessary, if you still have Earth, use 2 Ultimas in sequence, Shadow plays his best weapons, Edgar uses Drill, Cyan uses Quadra Slice, Locke heals and uses assistance spells, Setzer uses Gil Throw, Mog heals and uses assistance spells and Gau uses Sacred Dragon’s Rage, soon Kefka will have his last laugh.

Now it’s time to enjoy the ending, which isn’t that great and can vary depending on the characters you caught or didn’t catch during the game, but the background music is amazing and worth it, thanks and see you next time!

END

2 – Characters

2.1 – Terra Branford
Profession: Human/Esper Hybrid
Special ability: Morph – Transforms into an esper and thus increases its status, especially magical power. History: A mysterious young woman, controlled by the empire and born with the gift of magic.
Assessment: In normal form, Terra is the second best with magic, becoming the best only after she transforms into an esper, she has good attack power and a reasonable defense, she doesn’t have many defects which makes her a great option for any situation.

2.2 – Locke Cole
Profession: Thief, I mean, treasure hunter
Special ability: Steal – Steals items from enemies Mug – Steals and damages enemies (with the Thief Glove accessory)
History: Adventurer and explorer, crossing the world in search of fortunes from past.
Rating: Locke is practically indispensable in boss battles, especially if you want to get good items, he is the fastest and almost always attacks first, the attack is not great and the defense is horrible, equip long-range weapons and keep it or at the rear for better use.

2.3 – Mog
Profession: Moggle/Lanceman
Special ability: Dance – Changes the battle environment and uses magic related to that environment, when using this ability you lose control over Mog until the end of the battle, or until he is killed.
History: A human-friendly moggle, talkative, smart and a born dancer.
Rating: Mog is good, but his Dance ability uses random spells that can help, but can also hinder a difficult battle, so I don’t recommend using him in boss battles.

2.4 – Edgar Roni Figaro
Profession: King/Lanceman/Inventor
Special ability: Tool – Uses various tools with the most diverse effects on enemies.
History: The young king of Figaro, ally of the empire and a genius inventor of machines.
Assessment: Edgar is a good character, his Tool ability can do great damage to any enemy and if you give him the Dragon Boots accessory (which gives the Jump ability) and a Holy Lance, he becomes an almost invincible killing machine.

2.5 – Sabin Rene Figaro
Profession: Martial arts fighter
Special ability: Blitz – Special attacks delivered to enemies when executing certain commands on the joystick.
History: Edgar’s twin brother who traded the throne for his freedom.
Assessment: Sabin is the strongest physically, his blitzes can be devastating to almost all enemies and the commands are not that difficult to execute (more details in the special skills section), he has good defense and good speed for a guy strong, his weak point is that he is one of the worst with magic, so it is not good to count on him in that aspect.

2.6 – Shadow
Profession: Ninja/Mercenary
Special Ability: Throw – Throws Shurikens and weapons at enemies, the damage caused varies with the weapon. Interceptor – Sometimes when Shadow is hit by a physical attack, his dog steps in front to defend him and then attacks the enemy, causing enormous damage, most normal enemies die with this attack.
History: He is not loyal to anyone and does everything for money, he comes and goes like the wind.
Rating: Almost as fast as Locke and with a very useful ability, Shadow is a great option in battles against powerful bosses, as long as you invest in shurikens.

2.7 – Celes Chere
Profession: Runic Knight
Special ability: Runic – Absorbs spells converting the damage caused into little MP, useless.
History: Masterpiece of genetic manipulation, a runic knight, with a spirit pure as snow.
Assessment: Celes is the third best with magic and has a fantastic attack and good defense, her only special ability is rubbish, but with a good weapon she can do the job.

2.8 – Cyan Garamonde
Profession: Knight/Samurai
Special ability: Swordtech – When using it, a bar begins to fill and on top of it numbers from 1 to 8 that represent Cyan’s 8 special attacks, the higher the number you press the action button, the more powerful the attack.
History: Defender of his family’s heritage, with the courage and power of a hundred men.
Rating: The most tragic character in the game, Cyan suffers so much during the story that he comes to the brink of madness, in battle he is only reasonable, his strong point is defense, perhaps the best of all the characters, but for a knight, his attack power leaves a little to be desired and of his eight special attacks only about three are really useful and worse, they take a long time to charge, in addition he is as bad (or even worse) with spells as Sabin, only use him against bosses if have no other option.

2.9 – Gau
Profession: Jungle Boy
Special ability: Leap – Can only be used in the Veldt, Gau jumps on the enemy and the battle ends, Gau temporarily leaves the group and you must fight until he returns when this happens Gau will have learned Rages from the enemies from the battle he left and the battle he returned from, other battles in between do not count. Rage – Gau imitates the chosen enemy and uses all of his attacks, when using this you lose control over him for the entire battle or until he is killed.
Story: Covered in fur, intelligent eyes… A young man surviving all dangers.
Rating: Gau is, in my opinion, one of the worst characters, all of his stats are very low and his ability isn’t very useful against bosses, the good thing is that it’s really fun to get all of his Rages and see them all too.

2.10 – Setzer Gabianni
Profession: Player/Aircraft Pilot
Special ability: Slot – Depending on the combination you can achieve different effects. Gil Throw – Deals damage depending on Setzer’s level (with the Cannon accessory)
History: Free spirit, game lover and world traveler
Rating: Setzer is practically useless, has all very low stats and his Slot ability is rubbish, Gil Throw is useful, but only against normal enemies, have it in your group when you want to level up.

2.11 – Strago Magus
Profession: Blue mage
Special ability: Lore – Uses spells learned from some enemies, to learn a spell it must be used in the group.
History: An ancient warrior with a pure heart and an understanding of beasts.
Evaluation: Strago is one of the best, despite having very weak attack and defense, his magical power is very high and his Lores are wonderful, it’s a good idea to keep him in the back when facing bosses.

2.12 – Relm Arrowny
Profession: Picture Painter
Special ability: Sketch – Makes a copy of the enemy and uses its attack against itself. Control – As the name says, she controls enemies and can use them as if they were a character in the group (with the Mustache accessory)
History: In her paintings she captures everything: Forests, water, light… the essence of life in yes.
Assessment: Despite her young age and fragile appearance, Relm has enormous magical power, being the best mage in the game, and like all mages, her attack and defense are horrible, so keep her in the background, her Sketch ability is a crap, it never works on bosses, but Control is very useful, especially to get Strago’s Lores.

2.13 – Gogo
Profession: Mimic
Special ability: Mimic – Mimics the attack used by the character before him.
Story: Wrapped in strange costumes, is it a man? Will it be a woman?
Rating: Gogo is great, his Mimic ability is very useful, as long as you know how to use it correctly, you can also equip three more of any ability from the other characters, to do this go to Status and choose the three abilities you prefer, the only Gogo’s problem is that he doesn’t need to learn spells, so you probably should only use him in the final battle.

2.14 – Umaro
Profession: Yeti/Berserker
Special Ability: None
History: Admirer of bone sculptures, strong as a giant, a Yeti friend.
Assessment: Umaro is as strong as a rodeo bull, but that’s it, as he can’t use magic and is always in berserk status, meaning you can’t control him, therefore, you shouldn’t want to use him, but it is a good option against magic-resistant enemies.

Note: Most characters (with the exception of Gogo and Umaro) have secret attacks called Last Resource, a primitive version of Limit Breaks from Final Fantasy 8, they can be used by choosing the normal attack, when a character is in critical state (with HP=1, for example), but this doesn’t always happen (not to say almost never), I myself only saw Sabin’s, Tiger Rush, once, so I don’t advise relying on these attacks, therefore, I will not go into more detail about them.

4 – Espers and Magicites

Espers are the summons of Final Fantasy VI, to use them you must equip magicite on the character, then when you are in battle, choose Magic and put it up to use the esper, most are useless, they waste a lot of MP, they can only be used once in battle and they do not cause the damage they should, there are some exceptions, we will explain later, another use of magicites is to teach spells, to learn one you must gain a certain amount of AP which varies depending on the spell, some also give points extras in status when the character who has it equipped levels up.
