Hazel Sky – Complete Walkthrough (Step by Step Guide) + Platinum / Achievements Guide

Hazel Sky is a game developed by Brazilian studio Coffee Adict and published by Neon Doctrine. It’s a third-person adventure game, very relaxing and fun. Its story will captivate you from start to finish and with this guide platinum will be very smooth and quick.

100% platinum comes down to making some specific trophies that are very easy, collectible and related to history. All trophies/achievements are self-descriptive, almost all will come by playing naturally. The puzzles to fix a machine are very intuitive and easy to do. The secret here is exploration, if you explore well you won’t have any problems with 100%.

Regarding collectibles, I will only mention them. There are 86 collectibles in total, including: 12 books, 17 notes, 6 musical notes, 12 collectibles, 7 engineer kits, 8 keys and 24 objects. However, you don’t need to collect all of this, just 6 brooches, 12 books and inspect 16 objects. These are very easy to find, with a little exploration you can find them easily.

If you miss any, you will have to start over and they will all have to be collected in the same game, as well as playing the songs!

I recommend reading all the books and notes you pick up, as they are very useful for understanding the story – and they are interesting too.

Although the game is divided into chapters, I took the liberty to divide them as you progress through the story, which are: Watchtower, First island and Second island, respectively.

Watchtower.

In this area you will be introduced to the tutorial, explore as much as possible. In the first few minutes, you should naturally gain:

Reader – Inspect a book.

How many more? – Collect a brooch.

First of many – Collect a key.

First chord – Play a song.

For this one, you need to memorize the chords that are on the music holder in front and play them on the guitar or see the musical note in “Gallery” when pausing the game. In this case it is: The First Man – Eb -> G -> Cm -> Bb.

First attempt – Complete the first machine.

Earned after repairing the first plane.

First island.

On this island you will focus on some specific ones and go after the keys on this island. The only key you might not see is the one in the image below, it opens a chest that is towards the beach from there.

Run, Shane, run! – Run for a long time.

Just press L3 to run until the trophy comes.

Strange thing – Find the moon pamphlet.

The leaflets are lying on the ground near the boxes, their location is in front of the stranded ship. Further ahead you will have more collectibles, as well as a guitar to play all the songs.

Ball Ruster – Shoot a cannon ball into the ocean.

Realize that there is a stranded ship, just put a bullet in the cannon, aim at the ocean and shoot.

Shark attack – You can’t escape!

This consists of swimming away from the island. Take advantage of being on the stranded ship and dive towards the cannonball that fired until a shark appears.

Half engineer, half fish – Staying in the water for a long time.

Just like running, just soak for a few minutes.

Outlaw – Enter the mentor tower.

The mentors’ tower is very evident on the first island, you will go there to get the collectibles.

Interesting – Inspect 8 objects.

Second attempt – Complete the second machine.

Earned after fixing the balloon.

Second island.

Here your focus will be on making some specific trophies and the remaining keys. The only optional keys are: Moon Key (found in the cemetery) and the Chest Key (found on top of the pirate ship).

I’ll find them all! Inspect 16 objects.

There are 24 objects.

Free food – Feed the cow 5 times.

You will have to interact with this cow, just pick up the pumpkin and give it to eat 5 times.

The truth – Find the letter from Shane’s mother.

This letter is located inside the windmill house, this area is mandatory for crushing grapes and feeding them to the bison.

Full backpack – Collect all brooch.

There are 6 brooches.

Collector – Collect all keys.

There are 8 keys. If you saw the images and followed the tips you must have already won.

How to get into Carnegie Hall? – Play all songs.

I recommend leaving this trophy for last to make a nice platinum capture and, preferably, on the guitar on the first island, as it has the most beautiful scenery, just start a new game and play all the songs there. Just play the songs in the “Gallery” when you pause the game. In search of collectibles you will have all the musical notes. It is not necessary to collect the musical notes for the trophy, just play the songs.

There are 6 musical notes in total, which are:

The First Man: Eb -> G -> Cm -> Bb

The Comeback: Eb + Bb + Cm + Ab

Sabrina: Cm + Ab + Eb + Bb

Red Sun Lullaby: Bb + Eb + F

The Brown Witch: F#o + Em + Bm + Am

Yellow and Cold: Cm + Eb + Bb

And that! – Complete the third machine

Earned after repairing the second plane.

Note: The ones that remain now are those related to the endings. You can do the normal ending first and then the secret ending. If you want to save time, make a backup of your save on the island before doing the moon ritual.

Finally an engineer…? – Now I’m an engineer…?

I gain after going through the dream.

Where to now? – Escape from the city.

Earned after picking up Flynn and taking off from the city by plane.

What does that mean? – Find the secret ending.

Before doing the steps for this ending, you can make a backup of your save before starting the ritual if you want to save time.

To find this secret ending you need to do what the book “Brown Witch” prophesies. Just take the egg (image) and take it to the basement of a house that caught fire, where there was a moon cult, place the egg right on top of a small circle, in front of the guitar. Then, pick up the guitar and play the song “Brown Witch”, its musical note is in a buried chest (image) and its key is on the pirate ship.

When the song plays, the egg will hatch, just like it is in the book, then just go to Gideon and progress naturally and a new scene will happen after the credits.
