You Can Bank on Batman
In the first few seconds of this phase, a group of criminals will try to stop you. The best way to deal with them is to hold B to lock onto the target and then press S to apply the blows. After clearing the path, head to the right on the main street, where the game will present you with another group of thugs in an alley. Take care of them and pay attention to what’s on the ground just ahead, as there’s a puddle of green goo right in the middle of the path, and coming into contact with it won’t do you any good. To get around this obstacle, look for a white circle on the left and activate the grappling hook by pressing B. You’ll be pulled onto an elevated platform, and from there just jump towards the rope, grab onto it, and move until you reach the edge of the building.
Use the left analog stick to move towards a green sign with yellow details located near the building entrance and go through that door. Inside, head to the right and you’ll notice three red panels fixed to the wall. Interact with each one to turn them green and press Y to take control of Robin. With Robin in hand, enter the building and place a bomb on the blue gate blocking the way. You can even hitch a ride on one of the red carts while exploring the area. In the next area, the mission boss will appear accompanied by his henchmen. Defeat them all until the boss decides to hide. When that happens, destroy the silver metal pieces nearby and activate a bomb in the machine located to the right of the gate. With the passage clear, you’ll find the boss high up, leaning against something that looks like a cabinet. To get him down, aim the boomerang at the three panels on his back. After arresting him, the mission comes to an end.
An Icy Reception
At the beginning of this stage, deal with any enemies that appear and then go to the huge ice figure blocking your progress. Use the boomerang to hit the yellow hinges attached to the gate to break them and return to the central area. Find the two groups of pieces scattered on either side and destroy them to reveal the components needed to assemble two cannons. Assemble each one and then jump onto the circular platform on top of each cannon to fire a ball and destroy the vans parked in the area with bandits inside.
Two-Face Chase
You begin this mission inside the Batmobile. To fire, use the X button. Head south on the main road until you reach an area where three streets are blocked. When a green van appears in your field of vision, shoot it, get close, and press B to lock it, pulling it back to the starting area. An animation will play, and after that, the objective becomes clear: you need to capture three of these green vans. To find the first one, go to the east side of the road and take the first south turn you see. Capture the van and return to the previous road. Then, head north to the end and turn right to locate the police helicopter. Go back to the previous street, capture the second van, and hand it over to the helicopter. After that, go down the next street to find the third and final van. Hand it over to the authorities and wait for the animation.
After the cutscene, you’ll need to cross a series of leaves that constantly move up and down. The trick is simple: only jump when they’re in the low position, because if you jump while they’re moving, you’ll slip. Keep moving forward until you see a red platform. Reach it and assemble the piece available there to create a rope that Robin can use to cross. Use the rope yourself and follow the path to the right to enter a new section of the level.
In this area, put Robin to work destroying everything in his path until he gathers 25 pieces. Take this material to the machine located in the right corner of the room and assemble everything there. Proceed through the exit that opens and break the glass cabinet that will appear in front of you, as it hides more pieces. Assemble these pieces to create a flower bed and jump on them so that platforms begin to appear above the acid covering the floor. Carefully cross these platforms until you reach the opposite side, destroy the objects in the area to gather even more pieces and assemble them to generate a green plate. Push this plate to unlock the door and proceed.
The next confrontation is with Poison Ivy. She won’t appear right away; instead, she’ll send three carnivorous plants to fight you first. To take down each one, approach them slowly and assemble the green, rounded pieces on the ground, as these transform into bombs that destroy the plants. With the three plants eliminated, Poison Ivy decides to appear in person. The strategy is simple: stay behind her and keep attacking until you defeat her.
The Face-Off
Advance along the road, eliminating any bandits you encounter. Pass the cones scattered along the path, assemble the fallen rods on the ground, and destroy the objects in the area. Then, assemble the pieces near the iron grate and activate the two available levers. Enter the armored car and pass through the rods you previously assembled. Continue along the path that opens up, confront the thieves that appear, and destroy objects to collect pieces. Assemble them to unlock a new suit for Batman and dress him in it. Position yourself on the brown platform and ask Robin to push the nearby green sign. When you reach the gray platform, use the Batman suit to fly and cross to the other side. You will encounter a lever surrounded by lasers and a round object high above. Throw the boomerang to hit this object and then pull the lever to raise a bridge. Return to the armored car, cross the bridge, and step onto the blue platform to open the next area. Eliminate enemies and destroy objects to collect parts and assemble a new suit for Robin. Take him to the metal platform and have him pull the lever at the top. Switch to Batman, climb the ladder that will appear on the right, and grab onto the pipes to reach the upper floor.
The boss of this stage is the Riddler. While his laser is firing, destroy the surrounding objects to find pieces and assemble them to build a shield capable of deflecting his attacks. When he fires again, destroy the two blocks to the right to assemble a second shield. Wait for the Riddler to descend and then attack him with everything you’ve got. After losing three hearts, he will retreat upwards and release a group of henchmen. Eliminate them all and wait for the Riddler to descend again to repeat his attacks. When he has only three hearts left, the Riddler will throw Two-Face to the ground. From there, distribute your attacks between the two until you defeat both and complete the stage for good.
Episode 2 – Power Crazed Penguin
There She Goes Again
As soon as the level begins, go to the right and confront the thugs that appear along the way. Look for an alley to the left of the characters and enter it, as there are several hidden objects there. Break everything there to collect pieces and assemble them to reveal an outfit for Robin. Put it on him and continue advancing to the right until the end of that area. Have Robin climb the metal plate on the wall so he can activate a lever, while you climb the ladders available in the area. Grab the rope to move to the building on the left and, using the grappling hook, reach the platform above. Assemble the pieces on the right and use another rope to reach the next building. Assemble the pieces there until a ladder takes shape and then climb it.
In the new area that opens up, deal with any enemies that appear and use the small ladder to climb up. Activate the grappling hook to reach the rooftop on the right and put on the new outfit available there. With it, fly to the building on your right and set up a bridge so Robin can cross. Go down to the area below and face another group of bandits. Advance to the metal platform to the north and have Robin climb the large sign there.
Destroy any enemy ships that come your way and follow the path that opens up ahead. You’ll reach a large area with two orange bombs positioned in the center and four panels on the walls, each with a red light on. The objective here is to shoot all four panels to unlock a gate. Two of them will be immediately visible, but not without challenges: one is protected by a barrier that needs to be destroyed with one of the orange bombs, and the other is covered by colored plates that only Robin can break. After eliminating all four panels and opening the gate, go through it to trigger an animation.
The next confrontation is against the Penguin’s submarine. In this battle, there are two bombs available in the area, and you need to use them to hit the submarine on the sides, first on the left side and then on the right side. Repeat this process of hitting both sides a few times until the Penguin is left with only two hearts. From that point on, you no longer need the bombs and can finish the fight using only normal shots.
With Penguin out of the way, follow the path that opens up until you reach a new area. Climb the pipes fixed to the wall, advancing one at a time, until you reach the opposite side, and plant a bomb on the grate blocking the passage. Assemble the pieces to create a grappling hook and climb up it to find new outfits for both characters. Move to the right and position Robin to pass through the metal plate. With the appropriate outfit, fly to the other side and destroy all the objects you find there, but leave the sewer aside for now. Stand on one of the red buttons on the floor and position Robin on the other button so that a bridge appears. After that, return to where the clothes are, change Batman’s outfit, and use a bomb on the sewer you ignored before. Enter through the passage that opens and explore the new area, destroying the objects along the way. Go down a ramp and continue breaking items to collect pieces. Assemble them to repair two damaged ramps and use the boomerang to hit the two orange targets in the area until the pool fills with water. Cross to the other side of the pool and set up a lever there. Pull it and climb up the ramp to the right.
Climb the steps to the right, break the brown box in your path, and assemble the pieces to raise another lever. Pull it and descend back to the lower area. Go past the tank and notice a lever just ahead, but don’t activate it yet. Climb the nearby ladder and assemble the pieces up there. Then, taking control of Robin, have him climb the metal plates to reach the diving suit and put it on. Back at the lever you left for later, pull it now. Three platforms will emerge from the water, and you must jump onto each one while facing the bandits that appear along the way. Climb the ladder at the end, and an animation will play.
The boss of this stage is the Crocodile, an enemy with a fairly generous health bar, but who doesn’t have much variety in his attacks. The strategy is straightforward: go towards him and land consecutive blows until he retreats and starts throwing objects at you. Stay alert and jump to dodge everything he throws, waiting for him to reposition himself to attack up close again. Continue repeating this cycle of hitting, dodging, and hitting again until his health bar runs out and the stage ends.
Zoo’s Company
Upon starting this phase, defeat the criminals that appear and locate the building on the left, the one with the image of an elephant on the facade. Enter it, deal with the enemies inside, and get a new suit for Robin. With him properly equipped, leave the building and proceed to the right. When you get close to the water, you will notice a metal plate on the wall. Have Robin climb this plate and break the windows there to collect the parts hidden inside. With these parts, assemble a grappling hook and then switch to Batman. With the boomerang in hand, hit the building to the right of the giraffe-shaped sign. Enter this building and destroy everything you find inside to assemble more parts. The new suit that appears should be worn by Batman, and with it you use the grappling hook to climb the elephant building. From there, fly to the building in front of you and break the windows to collect the available items. Jump to the area on the right and assemble the parts behind the gate. Get on the tractor that appears and use it to destroy the fence marked with the giraffe sign, thus opening the path to the next section.
Advance through the new area, eliminating any enemies that cross your path. Pass the lion’s cage and continue forward, also passing the elephant’s cage. Soon after, to the right, you will find some more objects waiting to be destroyed.
In this new section, cross the room and climb the steps in front of you. Three red boxes will be positioned on platforms. Push each one so that they fall to the ground and use the resulting pieces to assemble a cart. Get in it and destroy the obstacles ahead until another vehicle takes shape. Also assemble a ladder to access the higher platforms and, with the appropriate suit, fly to cross to the other side. Step onto the red platform and descend back to the lower area. Get into one of the available carts, go to the right and break everything in your path until you find more pieces. Assemble them to create a green plate and jump to the platform with a lever. With the flight suit, reach the left corner and assemble the pieces there to build a device. Go down to the ground, push the green plate and activate the lever. Platforms will emerge from the ground and you must follow them to reach the other side of the area. Face the bandits that appear, pull another lever and return to the lower floor. Get into a cart and cross the newly formed bridge. Stop on the orange sign and take the elevator up. Go to the right and enter the red tunnel.
Defeat the enemies that appear in this area and use the boomerang to hit the shiny metal “cans” attached to the top of the stage. Assemble the falling pieces to reveal a new outfit for Robin. Dress him in it and have him climb the metal plate to the right to finish assembling an incomplete piece of equipment. Push this equipment to the end of the passage, where there’s a platform, and switch back to controlling Batman. Proceed to the right, fly across to the other side, and assemble the available pieces to build a bridge that allows Robin to cross as well. Continue forward, climb another silver plate, and push the green plate in the way. The gate will open, and an animation will play.
The boss of this stage is the Mad Hatter. To begin, go up to him and land consecutive hits until he loses two hearts and decides to flee to a higher area. Move to the right and take control of Robin. Have him climb the metal plate and cross the gray platform to create a ramp for Batman. Switch back to Batman, climb the ramp, and position both characters on the red buttons on the ground. When the Mad Hatter falls back to the level of the characters, attack him immediately. If he shoots a lightning bolt at you, quickly switch to the other character to escape the attack. When he flees again, go to the left and destroy the objects in the area until you gather enough pieces to assemble an elevator. Go up it, position both characters on the red buttons above, and land the final blows on the Mad Hatter to end the fight and complete the stage.
Little Fun at the Big Top
At the start of the level, go to the right while eliminating any enemies you encounter along the way. Access the first cage door you find, as it contains a new suit for Batman. Wearing the suit, destroy the flower-shaped objects in the area and use the resulting pieces to build two small castles. Plant a bomb in each one to detonate them and unlock access to the next section of the level.
In the area that opens up, continue to the right until you find another Batman suit in a corner. Put it on immediately and go to the building on the left, breaking the glass doors with the equipment the suit provides. Inside the building, assemble the available pieces to discover a suit for Robin and put it on him. Exit the building and go to the water’s edge, breaking the surrounding objects to collect pieces. With these pieces, build a green plate and push it so that a metal plate appears on the wall. Switch to Robin and have him climb this plate so he can assemble more pieces up there, forming a grappling hook. Use it to reach the next section. Advance and fight the thugs that appear, then destroy the tables and chairs scattered around the area to gather new pieces. Assemble them to find another suit for Robin and take control of him. In this part, the objective is to collect 25 pieces and deposit them in the machine on the right. To find these parts, switch to Batman and use the suit’s laser to shatter the surrounding glass windows, opening up new areas where the parts are hidden. Once you’ve collected all 25 parts from the machine, climb the ladder that appears and proceed through the corridor with glass walls.
Eliminate any enemies that try to block you and move forward, carefully passing through a pool of acid. On the right side, destroy the objects you find and assemble the pieces to build a green sign. Push it to open the gate, and as you pass through it, you will encounter the boss of the stage. Harley Quinn will be performing somersaults around a circle while shooting at you, and during this movement there is no way to hit her. The correct strategy is to follow her movement, walking around the circle at the same pace as her, chasing her closely. At some point she will stop moving and be stunned for a few moments, and that’s exactly when you should act and land your blows. Every time she loses two hearts, she will call henchmen to attack you. Get rid of them quickly and go back to chasing Harley Quinn. Repeat this cycle until she is defeated and the mission ends.
In the next location, take control of Robin and go to the southern area of the scene to pick up a bomb that’s available there. Throw this bomb at the block positioned in the center of the area. After that, switch to Batman and go over the yellow structure to collect the purple orbs that are there. Destroy the cannons blocking the path to the right and advance along it.
The boss waiting in this section is Scarecrow. To defeat him, put Robin into action and press B to keep Scarecrow immobilized. Without releasing, quickly switch to Batman and destroy nearby objects to locate the yellow structure. Pick up the purple orbs on it and throw them at Scarecrow. Return to the beginning of this strategy and repeat the process two more times, totaling three rounds, to finish off Scarecrow for good.
In the Dark Night
The level begins with the task of repairing Batman’s plane. After completing this, head to the right. Destroy the crate located near the acid and use the remaining parts to build an elevator. Climb up and jump into the fenced area above. Proceed down the street, eliminating any thugs you encounter, until you witness a car crash. To the far left of the crash site are objects that need to be destroyed. Breaking them will reveal a lever and several parts. Assemble the parts to raise a large fan and activate the lever. Jump onto the fan and use the air momentum to reach the edge of the building to the left. Continue forward until you enter the next building. Break all the objects on that floor, build a green sign, and position yourself on the elevator. Switch to Robin and have him push the green sign to activate the elevator and take you up. Back as Batman, put on the new suit that’s available and approach the car that crashed and caught fire. Place a bomb on it to destroy it and clear the way to the next area.
Inside the bar, destroy absolutely everything in the area, including the colored lights scattered around. With the pieces you obtain, build a hook near the counter on the left. Climb up the hook and, at the top, assemble a support for the rope. Go back down to the floor and walk to the counter on the right, where you will assemble the other rope support using the pieces near the green panel. Return to the previous counter and climb up again. Cross the rope from one side to the other and plant a bomb on the blue lights. Go down to the floor and assemble the pieces that appear to complete the floor. With the floor assembled, push the structure along it until it fits into the red niche. Pull the lever there and destroy some more objects to the right to finish assembling another structure. Push this one to the correct position to activate another lever and then use the elevator to go up. On the second floor, eliminate any bandits that appear and cross the room to the opposite side. Assemble the available pieces to build a speaker and place a bomb on the large statue. The pieces that fall will reveal a new outfit for Robin. Put it on him and also assemble the pieces to the left. Go to the center of the area and plant another bomb, this time on the silver structure there. Assemble the pieces to build a globe and position the two characters on the two illuminated squares on the ground. Two more squares will light up next, and you must quickly go to one of them, repeating the process until all the squares are lit. After the animation that follows, take control of Robin and interact with the green panel fixed to the wall in the background. This will allow you to control a robot.
Now it’s time to face Killer Moth. Start by attacking him with consecutive blows until he loses two hearts and decides to take flight. Take advantage of this moment to plant bombs on the silver structures to the left of the area and assemble the resulting pieces to complete a turbine. Then, go to the right, destroy the barrier blocking the passage and push the blue structure to the end of the floor. Go back to the left side and look for Robin’s suit, which is positioned behind a lever, using a bomb to get there if necessary. Take control of Robin and activate the turbine panel on the left. Activate the circuit on the floor and move the two levers in front of you. The lamp will shock Killer Moth and make him fall, and this is the moment to go after him and attack until only one heart remains. He will flee once again. Rebuild the turbine on the right side and defeat any henchmen that appear. Switch to Robin, activate the green panel, and move the two levers again to deliver the final blow to Killer Moth and end the stage.
To the Top of the Tower
Start by approaching the police cars positioned on the right and break the surrounding objects to collect parts. Assemble them to unlock a new suit for Batman and, wearing it, climb the tower on the right. At the top, place a bomb on the white grate to reveal a suit for Robin. With him equipped, move to the left until you find another tower along the way. Destroy the equipment near it to collect more parts and assemble them to create a metal plate. Go to the statue at the base of this tower and push it to the right, opening space for Robin to climb the plate. Switch to Robin and have him climb up. From up there, jump towards the building and push the green plate in the way to trigger an animation. Harley Quinn will appear and start attacking you from the top of the building. To defeat her, enter one of the police vans available in the area and use the X button to fire the water jet at her. Each time you hit her, she will destroy the vehicle you are using. Get into another vehicle and repeat the water jet attack. After both vans are destroyed, pick up the remaining parts on the ground and build a hose with them. Use the hose to hit Harley Quinn one last time and conclude this confrontation.
After the following cutscene, the objective becomes destroying the Joker’s helicopter. He will fire at you and disappear for a few moments before returning. Exit the building and go outside, where you can build two hoses. Whenever the helicopter appears in your field of vision, use the hoses to spray water on it and cause damage. Keep hitting it each time it appears until it is completely destroyed. With the helicopter out of combat, the Joker himself will descend to face you personally. He will use lightning to paralyze you during combat, and when this happens, immediately switch to the other character to escape the effect and take the opportunity to attack the Joker from behind while he is still distracted. Don’t stop hitting him and try to corner him in the edges of the area so that he has less room to maneuver. Keep pressing until you defeat him and watch the heroes’ ending.
On the Rocks
Proceed towards the back of the area and locate the orange pipe on the left. Apply your strength to it to activate it and climb up the fan, which will then activate. Walk along the edge of the building and jump to the area where a billboard displays an image of a snowman. In this area, you will notice two giant ice cream cones positioned at the right-hand ends. Break both and use the remaining pieces to build two levers. Pull each one to open the path and proceed through the resulting opening.
In the next area, fight the enemies that appear and press B on the available orange cable to drag a large blue block towards you. Climb this block to reach the pipe above and continue moving to the right. At the beginning of the platform, you will find a pipe that gives access to a blue platform. Jump onto it and use the ice power to hit the glowing parts above the “red sea,” creating platforms that allow you to cross to the opposite side. With mind control enabled, direct the scientist in the area to build a plate on the left and push it. Cross the blue platform and destroy the objects on the left to complete a pipe structure. After that, destroy this same structure to generate the pieces that will form a cable for the blue gate. Press B to push it and open the passage. Follow it and go to the left to find a worker. Place Mr. Freeze on the blue platform, switch to the Riddler, and use the mind control power to order the worker to assemble the pieces on the left.
Assemble the available pieces to build the bulk of an elevator, then use Poison Ivy’s power on objects with hearts to transform them into plants. Climb these plants to reach the platform on the right and complete the elevator assembly. Enter the elevator to ascend to the next area and follow the corridor ahead.
Destroy all the plants scattered around the room and build a pink platform on the right side. Go to the left and switch to the Riddler. Use mind control on the man on the platform in that area to make him knock down the statue there. Assemble the fallen pieces to create a mobile structure and take it to the center of the room. You will notice three objects with platforms scattered around the room. Start with the object on the left and, when the red light flashes, jump onto the corresponding platform. Then, go to the pink platform on the right and jump onto it to activate the red light on the object on the right. Jump onto the platform of this second object as well, and to finish the level, simply jump onto the third remaining platform, thus completing this mission.
An Enterprising Theft
To begin, destroy the blue benches on the right and use the pieces to build a green sign. Push it to open the path, go up the escalator, and destroy the objects on the left to reveal four buttons, each a different color. The secret to solving this puzzle is to activate the buttons in the following order: blue, red, yellow, and green. With the door open, go through it and climb the ladder on the left. Eliminate the police officer there and grab the bar on the right to move to the next platform. Assemble the available pieces to create a button and press it to make the green acid appear in the area. Swim to the right and climb onto a platform. Destroy the objects there and assemble the pieces to erect a structure. Push this structure to the niche in the wall to light one of the door lights. After that, swim to the left side of the area, climb onto another platform, and repeat the entire process of assembling and pushing the structure. With both lights on, the door will open. Finish building the gray block and switch to the Riddler. Use the mind control power to command the man behind the glass and make him interact with the green panel next to him. While controlling the robot, navigate the lasers to the right and destroy the panel that keeps them active, turning them off. Return to controlling Two-Face and proceed along the path that has opened.
Proceed to a wide area with a glass dome in the center. Climb the bars at the back of the area, carefully cross the green acid, and shoot the yellow part of the generator. Then, climb down and pull the lever that will be available. Enter the vehicle and drive to the dome.
Go through the dome’s entrance and destroy the objects in the room to collect pieces. Assemble them to build two green plates and push them both. Then, use the Riddler’s mind control power on the man on the other side of the glass to make him activate the lever.
Navigate the cleared path and deal with all enemies that appear. Go to the right, take control of Two-Face, and shoot the green panel in the area. Destroy the objects in the cell and assemble a large yellow block. Push this block to the end of the sequence of blue tiles and destroy the objects in the next area. Build a green sign, push it, and enter the elevator with Two-Face. Switch to the Riddler and push the green sign back to make the elevator go up. With Two-Face on the upper floor, shoot the padlock and pull the lever. Switch back to the Riddler, climb the ladder, and use mind control on the man there to make him pull the lever. Proceed through the door that opens and eliminate any police officers that appear. With Two-Face, shoot the two green panels on the sides of the passage and then the third panel on the left. Proceed to the next area, walk through the green smoke, and pull the lever located there.
Gather the helicopter wreckage scattered on the ground to build a ladder and climb it to reach a new area.
Cross the building’s roof and go down the ladder on the right. Go to the left and jump onto the circular platforms to activate the fan in the way. Jump on it to be propelled to a platform on the next building and switch to Catwoman. Double jump to reach the roof and destroy the available objects to find pieces. Assemble them to build a green plate and push it. Continue to the right and another fan will be blocking the passage. Go down the ladder, break the pieces of wood on the window and pull the lever. Fly over the fan to reach the next roof and pull the levers there. Push the available statue until it falls to the ground and advance to the next area.
Walk to the right and find iron bars scattered near the laser beams. With Catwoman, hang onto these bars and move along them to the other side, where you will find and destroy the panel that controls the beams. Proceed through the unlocked passage and use an explosive penguin on the gate blocking the way. Pull the lever, reach the dinosaur fossils and climb onto one of them. Follow the path to the right, destroy the boxes obstructing the passage and climb the stairs. On the second floor, go to the left and pay attention to the lasers in the way. Destroy the objects near them, assemble a green plate and push it until the statue it carries blocks some of the laser beams. When Catwoman can move forward, push the plate again so that the statue covers other beams. With the path clear, have Catwoman jump over the remaining beam and destroy the generator to deactivate everything.
In this new area you will come across a glass house. Go to the left, double jump to reach the ladder and destroy the blue block fixed to the wall. Complete the ladder assembly and return to controlling the Penguin. Climb the ladder, advance across the platform and destroy another blue block in your path. Pull the available lever and fly to the platform on the other side. Pull another lever there and walk to the smaller entrance of the glass house. Place an explosive penguin inside to complete the mission.
Harboring a Grudge
Start this stage controlling the Penguin’s submarine and move to the purple block on the left. Refill your energy ball supply and use the B button to fire them at the equipment blocking the passage to the right, destroying it. After replenishing your energy balls, switch to the Crocodile and proceed to the left until you encounter a group of police officers. Take them out and use one of the energy balls to eliminate the equipment blocking access to the north.
With the path to the north clear, reach the purple gate at the bottom of this new area. Switch to Penguin and press A to dive with the submarine. Navigate under the gate and press the red button on the left. Then, switch back to Crocodile and activate the red button on the right. This will cause a new purple block to appear in the area. With Penguin, collect more energy balls from this block and start throwing them at the yellow objects floating above the green acid, clearing the area. With the path clear, replenish your energy ball supply and proceed through the open passage. Two more yellow objects will appear ahead, so destroy them as well and continue until you find a gate blocking the path. Shoot energy balls at the two silver cannons nearby to eliminate them, then press the two red buttons in the next area. Replenish your energy balls again and destroy the three cannons ahead. Go through the opening that forms and a short animation will be displayed.
The next challenge is a confrontation against a special police force. As the Crocodile, go to the left and activate the red button at the bottom of the screen. Switch to the Penguin, replenish your energy balls at the purple cube in the background, and begin attacking the main boat from the sides and front. When the boat has only one heart left, drop the energy balls and finish it off using only normal shots. With the police defeated, the mission is complete.
A Daring Rescue
Carefully cross the green acid and break the objects in your path until you gather enough pieces. Assemble them to complete an unfinished machine, activate the lever, and head left. Locate the orange handle on the door blocking the path and pull it hard to remove it. Switch to Penguin mode and use your flight ability to cross to the other side. There, build a ladder and pull the available lever. Climb the ladder you just built, cross the rope to the other side, and proceed along the unlocked path.
Assuming you are the Penguin, step on the yellow circle to propel your jump and land on the platform to the right. Build a support for the rope on that platform and use the flight to reach the platform positioned to the left.
Return to the cart and cross the bridge, destroying the large blocks of ice that are blocking your progress. Park the vehicle on the black and yellow square on the ground and use the surrounding pieces to assemble a lever. Activate it, climb the ladder that appears, and return to the cart. With it, destroy the ice blocks covering the building’s entrance and enter through the door.
Inside, eliminate any police officers in the area and use explosive penguins to destroy one of the walrus statues nearby. Climb on top of it and advance to the next section, destroying all the objects you find along the way. Assemble the collected pieces to finish the floor and push the light fixture to the end of the path. With Catwoman, interact with the man behind the small window and go through the door on the right.
Walk across the platform until a trap is triggered and causes you to fall. While descending the ramp, collect the items that appear along the way and, upon touching the ground, locate the green plate with an integrated laser and push it so that the beam illuminates two devices simultaneously. After defeating the enemies that appear, assemble the pieces on the right to create another green plate and push it as well to light up two more devices. Continue to the right, switch to Catwoman, and pull the cable from the panel with a red light on. This will make Penguin climb the steps. Walk around the area, passing the large machine in the center, and go left until you find a niche containing purple objects. Break them all and assemble the pieces to create a rope support. As Catwoman, grab onto the pipes on the left, move along them, and cross the rope. Reach the central machine and activate the available levers to complete this part of the level.
Switch to Joker, reach the building door on the left and press B to break it open. Position yourself on the yellow platform and switch back to Harley Quinn. Reach the rail and follow it to the right to enter a new area.
Advance along the tracks and use the double jump to reach the ladder above. Activate the lever to lower the ladder and allow the Joker to climb up as well. Climb to the upper platform, assemble the pieces to build pipes, and hang from them to reach the illuminated figure. Return to the platform with the lever and jump to reach the platform on the right. With the Joker, activate the machine nearby and advance along the path that opens above. Destroy the wooden planks in the path and use the pieces to build some steps and a rope support. Cross the rope and destroy the objects on both platforms to collect more pieces. Assemble them to create pipes and climb up them to the upper platform. Climb the ladders, jump onto the platforms, and activate the lever. Eliminate any enemies that appear, take control of the Joker, and jump to the platform on the right to activate a machine. Enter the tunnel that the cart will release and advance to the next location.
Go down to the ground and fight the enemies you find there. Keep moving forward, pass the carousel, and destroy the objects at the end of the path to assemble a cannon. Go through the door the cannon opens and destroy all the objects in the area. When you notice some lights appearing, leave the building and locate an ice cream truck. Remove it from the path to reveal three colored platforms on the ground. Step on them in this exact order: blue, red, and yellow. Pull the lever and go through the gate that opens.
The boss of this stage is Commissioner Gordon, accompanied by his officers. At the beginning of the fight, attack him repeatedly until he loses two hearts and retreats. Eliminate the officers who exit the van, take control of the Joker, and activate the machine near the crane. Climb the ladder and take control of the crane. Press B to grab a pink teddy bear and throw it at the van to destroy it. Gordon will then reappear in the area. Continue attacking him relentlessly until he disappears again and a new van appears. Repeat the teddy bear process to destroy the second van as well and wait for Gordon to reappear. Deliver the finishing blows until his health bar is depleted and the fight ends.
Biplane Blast
Start by controlling the Penguin’s helicopter and go to the building in the back left of the stage, destroying any structures inside. Aim for the purple lights and press B to pick up a bomb. Move to the right and throw the bomb at the machine near the fans. Switch to the Scarecrow’s twin-engine plane and advance through the stage until you find the structure that releases green energy balls. Collect these balls and launch one directly at the tower with the red tip.
With the path cleared, proceed until you enter a new area and find a large clock blocking the passage. Shoot it repeatedly until you completely destroy it to clear the way. In the next location, pick up more green orbs and use them to destroy the two cannons protecting a metal barrier. Switch to the Joker, pick up a bomb available on the left, and throw it at the barrier to destroy it.
The next confrontation is against a police helicopter. Take on the role of Scarecrow, collect green orbs, and destroy the billboard on the left side of the stage. Switch to Joker, grab a bomb from the accessible area, and throw it at the structure to the left of the police helicopter.
Return to the Scarecrow, pick up a green ball and fire it at the cannon to take one of the opponent’s hearts. Repeat this entire process, this time aiming at the structure on the right side of the helicopter, to eliminate another heart. With only one heart remaining, abandon the bomb and ball strategy and start shooting at the helicopter continuously until you destroy it completely.
The Joker’s Masterpiece
Use the pieces on the left to build an elevator and push the two large blocks to the end of the floors where they are located. Enter the elevator so that Scarecrow can pull the lever and activate it. Press B to make the elevator continue rising and advance along the gray platforms in the way. Reach the balcony and shoot the two supports holding up the large chandelier hanging from the ceiling. Assemble the pieces that fall to build a ramp. Switch to Scarecrow and take him to the small window to the right of the main door to talk to the man there. Go through the door that opens and deal with the police officers who appear. In the next area, build a green sign on the right and push it to open a smaller room. Activate the machine inside to turn off the lasers and deal with any police officers who appear. Proceed along the cleared path until you reach a new location.
Go up the stairs and head left, passing through any green gas in your path. Activate the lever and destroy the object near it to deactivate the lasers in the area. Go to the walls where the lasers were and strike them to make some tiles appear. Place these tiles in the corridor and push the brown object to the end of the path.
Switch to Scarecrow, climb up to reach the upper area and destroy the objects there to collect pieces. Use these pieces to build pipes, hang from them, and use them to jump over the large brown block. Switch characters and push the block to the other side. Return to Scarecrow and jump to the balcony. Assemble the pieces on the right to build a fan and switch to Joker. Climb the ladder, follow the balcony to the right, and reach the upper floor. Assemble the available pieces there to build another fan and go through the door that opens.
In this new area, shoot the two objects near the pedestal and assemble the resulting pieces to create a green plate. Push it and climb onto the pedestal to be elevated to the top of the area. Destroy the objects there and assemble the pieces to build pipes. Return to the lower area and destroy the paintings on the right. With the pipes built, hang from them to reach the lever at the top and pull it. Go down, assemble the pieces that appear in the lower area and activate the available machine. Use the elevator that becomes available to go up and confront the police officers who appear. Destroy the objects on the right to build a platform, jump onto it and cross to the other side of the fence. Advance to the right, activate the lever and push the block to the end of the path.
The ultimate goal of this phase is to destroy three police trucks. The first one is directly in front of you and can be eliminated simply by shooting it. The other two are positioned in the area to the right. Destroy them as well to complete the mission.
Dying of Laughter
Proceed towards the cathedral altar and activate the machine located on the right. Use the pieces that appear to assemble a cart and push it to the end of the available path. Switch to Harley Quinn, jump onto the cart, and use it as momentum to reach the column on the right. From there, jump to the next column and break the brown grate in the way to reveal hidden pieces. Assemble these pieces to build a rope support and hang from it to cross to the other side.
On the next ledge, strike the ladder there to make it descend, then switch to the Joker. Climb up that ladder and activate another available machine. Position yourself on one of the red buttons that appear next to a platform to ascend to the next level.
Move to the right and cross the small bridge in your path. Take control of Harley Quinn and use the double jump to reach the area where police officers are waiting. Advance across the platform and assemble the available pieces to create a rope support.
Switch to the Joker, climb the ladder provided, and traverse the rope to the other side. Activate the machine there and position yourself on the red buttons to advance to the next section.
Cross another bridge ahead and climb the ladder until you find more parts. Assemble them to build some pipes, then switch back to controlling Harley Quinn. Jump to reach the platform on the right and eliminate any police officers there. Use the remaining parts from them to build a small platform and switch back to the Joker. With both characters reunited, activate the machine in the area and go through the door that opens.
Take control of Harley Quinn once more, climb onto the platform to the right and assemble the available pieces to create another platform. Jump onto it so that the Joker can climb to the same level, then return to controlling him. Stand on one of the buttons on the yellow platform to ring the bell and assemble the pieces that appear to build a small tower. With that, you reach the end of the campaign.
