CLOCK TOWN

Initially, after an unfortunate encounter with Skullkid, you will discover that Link has been transformed into a Deku Scrub, a plant-like creature. Additionally, the precious ocarina and loyal mare, Epona, were stolen. Here our journey begins.

To get around Clock Town, you must use the launching plants to cross the chasm. These plants catapult Link through the air, allowing him to cross greater distances. Use this skill to reach Clock Town.

Once in town, head to North Clock Town. Here, you should find the Fairy Fountain. During the night, you can find a fairy floating near the chest-shaped store. During the day, you will find a fairy at the Laundry Pool just down a small alley in the center of town. When you find a fairy, take it to your fairy friends to receive the Deku Shoot Bubble skill.

The Deku Shoot Bubble skill allows you to shoot bubbles. Use this new ability to destroy a boy’s balloon in the city. After popping the balloon, talk to him and play hide and seek with your friends. You will find them in the following locations:

  1. Behind the tree in the town square;
  2. Hidden behind the slide in the play area;
  3. Close to the city’s group of dancers;
  4. On the right side of the city, close to the rooftops;
  5. On the balcony on the second floor of the hotel.

After finding them all, you will receive a password. Use this password on the boy blocking an alley to gain access to the observatory.

At the observatory, use the telescope (by pressing the B button) to locate Skullkid. He will be at the top of the city tower. As you leave the observatory, you will see the Moon’s Tear on the ground. Take this gem and return to town.

In town, look for a Deku Scrub near a launcher plant. Give him the Moon’s Tear, then use the blueprint to fly to the city tower.

In the last six hours of the third day, climb the tower to confront Skullkid. Use the bubbles to attack him and recover Link’s Ocarina. Then, play the Song of Time to go back in time to the first day.

On the first day, look for the Happy Mask Man in the city and talk to him. He will teach you the Song of Healing, which allows Link to return to his original human form. As a reward for your transformation, you will receive the Deku Mask.

At 10 am, visit the mayor’s house. There, talk to the couple and you will receive Kafei’s Mask. Then, take another fairy to your fairy friends and receive the Great Fairy Mask. At night, go to the lake and talk to the musician to receive the Bremen Mask.

During midnight on the first day in North Clock Town, witness a robbery. Confront the thief to rescue the victim. As a reward, the lady will give you the Blast Mask. Then, repeat the hide and seek game with the boys to receive a notebook. This notebook will be useful for keeping track of clues and riddles.

The woman in the tent to the right of town is a banker. Interact with it to deposit or withdraw rupees. If you accumulate 200 rupees in your account, you will receive Adult Wallet as a reward.

Finally, exit Clock Town to the south and head towards the swamp. This is where the next part of your adventure awaits.

Remember, Majora’s Mask is a game that unfolds in many paths and puzzles. Keep your eyes open, explore all the possibilities and enjoy your journey.

WOODFALL

As you enter the Woodfall region, you will find a cabin that hosts archery competitions. These challenges are not only a great way to perfect your archery skills, but they also offer useful rewards if you are successful. Practice your goal, reach high scores and earn your rewards.

Leaving this hut, move towards the Tourist Hut. At this stopping point you will find valuable information and useful services to help you on your journey.

However, before visiting the Tourism Hut, it is crucial to stop by the lake. There, you will find a third hut, where a witch who deals in potions resides. Potions play a vital role in the game, aiding in health recovery, among other abilities, so make a point of visiting the witch.

Just next to the witch’s hut is an intriguing cave. The path inside the cave is tortuous and complex, but there is a monkey willing to guide you. Follow the monkey and you will find a second witch. This encounter is important, so make sure you don’t miss it.

After finding the second witch in the cave, return to the first witch’s hut. Now, it’s time to collect the precious item known as the “Bottle”. The Bottle is one of the most versatile items in Majora’s Mask, allowing you to store a variety of things, like potions and fairies. Acquire the Bottle and take it to the witch in the maze you found by following the monkey.

Now that you’ve helped the witches and acquired the Bottle, it’s time to return to the Tourist Shack. Once you get there, talk to the witch again, who, in gratitude for your help, will present you with the Pictograph Box. This photo box is an interesting item that allows you to capture images of your journey, a very fun feature.

Additionally, speaking to the witch in the Tourist Hut also gives you the opportunity to ride a raft. This is a relaxing and delightful experience that offers a bit of relief from the trials and tribulations of the rest of the game.

DEKU PALACE

Here you will find yourself in the form of Deku Scrub. The first step is to approach King Deku and engage in dialogue with him. During this interaction, watch the monkey trapped behind the bars and press the Z button to get a closer look at him.

Next, you must stealthily infiltrate the palace’s labyrinthine gardens. Stay hidden, advance carefully and, at the end, locate a hole that leads to the presence of a vendor. Buy magic beans from him and fill your bottle with water.

Then, leave the fortress and follow a trail by the lake. Here, you will need to plant your magic beans in the appropriate soil and use the water you collected to water them. Once the plant germinates and grows, climb it. Use the surrounding launcher plants to advance, and shoot bubbles to eliminate the Dekus until you reach the second floor of the maze. At the end of this section, go through a hole and you will learn the Sonata of Awakening from the monkey.

Finally, it is essential to remember that time is a crucial element in Majora’s Mask. You will only have 72 hours (equivalent to 1m30s in real time) to complete all these objectives, so be aware of the passage of time.

WOODFALL TEMPLE

This challenging stage will take you to the front of the Deku palace. Here, you must find a passage in a rock formation and use the launcher plant to reach it. Fly towards a waterfall, talk to an owl and read an inscription to learn the Song of Soaring.

After mastering this song, fly to the next passage. Then, in the center of the marsh, you will find a tower. Climb onto it, stand on the pedestal and, in Deku Scrub form, play the Sonata of Awakening. This will send you flying to a castle.

This castle is filled with a series of challenges that will require you to shapeshift and utilize a variety of abilities to advance. These challenges include crossing a room full of launching plants, dodging carnivorous plants, getting a silver key, evading turtles, acquiring a map, lighting torches to open doors, fighting a lizard to get the Hero’s Bow, and facing Gekkho to get the Boss Key.

To beat Odolwa, you must learn to avoid his attacks and attack during his pauses. Beating him will earn you the Order to Vow. Capture Princess Deku in one of her bottles and take her to King Deku.

BONUS

As a bonus, next to the entrance to Deku Scrub Village, there is now an open tunnel. Talk to Minister Deku and follow him to the end of the maze to acquire the Mask of Scents.

Also, after midnight on the first day, go to the frozen area outside of Clock Town. There, talk to the dancer on top of the tree, play the Song of Healing and acquire Kamaro’s Mask.

MOUNTAIN VILLAGE

This peaceful mountain village is covered in snow and hides significant challenges. Start by going up the frozen ramp located outside the city. Use your archery skills to shoot a giant stalactite, whose fall into the glacier will create an ice bridge.

With bombs in hand, advance along the path full of snowballs. Strategic use of explosives is crucial to clearing a path through this snowy obstacle. On your journey, you will come across the blacksmith’s hut. Instead of going inside, follow the path behind it, taking you directly to Goron Village.

GORON VILLAGE

Goron Village is a place of imposing rock structures and friendly inhabitants. Here, talk to the owl and look closely at the feathers it drops. They will lead the way across invisible platforms to a hidden cave, where you will find the Lens of Truth.

Equip the Lens of Truth to reveal hidden platforms. Follow the ghost that appears, guiding you across the frozen lake. A ladder in the rock leads to the next segment. Follow the sequence left, right, left until you reach a cave.

Inside the cave, facing a lone tombstone, play the Song of Healing to calm the ghost, who will give you the Goron Mask in thanks. Transform into Goron using the Goron Mask, and pull the tombstone from behind, flooding the cave with hot water. Use your bottle to collect some of the water and take it to the frozen Goron outside the cave to free him.

Collecting more hot water, run to the place with giant snowballs. Use the water to melt the snowball that the fairy tells you, revealing the elder Goron.

In the village, go to the temple entrance. Use the Goron Stomp ability to open the door. Once inside, find and talk to the crying baby Goron, and return to the elder, who will teach you a snippet of a song. In Goron form, play this excerpt to the baby, who, in response, will teach Goron Lullaby.

With this new tune in your repertoire, return to Mountain Village. Go up the ramp in front of the blacksmith’s hut. Use the Goron Roll ability, which will allow you to gain momentum and jump up the ramp.

SNOWHEAD TEMPLE

Your adventure in The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask now takes you to the Snowhead Temple. He begins by equipping the Lens of Truth, allowing him to perceive the giant Goron that guards the castle entrance. In Goron form, he plays the melodious Goron Lullaby to appease the guardian and gain access to the temple.

Once inside the castle, the first task is to move a stone block that blocks your passage. Push it to create a path and go through the door on the right. Remember the Goron’s unique abilities: use the Goron Roll to jump up the ramp, then head left. When entering the next door, pull the stone block until you reveal a Silver Key, which will be used to unlock the castle entrance.

When you find a cracked wall, use a bomb to reveal a secret passage. The next room presents a challenge involving archery skills. Aim for the stalactites hanging from the ceiling and, when you knock them down, use the resulting pillars to proceed. Destroy a snowball at the end of the room to discover a chest containing another Silver Key, which will allow you to exit.

In the next room, use the Goron Stomp to trigger buttons in a certain order: first the yellow button in front of you, allowing you to jump to the pillar you climbed up. Hit the green switch ahead and, back at the previous pillar, use the Goron Stomp to open the next door. Climb onto the green button and jump to the exit.

Returning to the castle entrance, go through the door on the right and fight the frozen monsters to obtain a new Silver Key. Climb the stairs and use the Fire Arrow on the frozen eye to raise a platform. Open the chained door on the third floor (3F) and go upstairs. Defeat Wizrobe using the already known combat technique to obtain the Boss Key.

With the Boss Key in hand, proceed to the central pillar of the castle structure and, as Goron, attack the blue gums with powerful punches. In 3F, destroy the snowballs to find Boss Goht’s room. Use the Fire Arrow to unfreeze Goht and the Goron Roll to knock him down. Avoid his bombs and lightning, destroy vases to recover your magic and attack him whenever you have an opening.

BONUS

After beating Goht, there are several optional tasks that can strengthen your character. Visit the blacksmith and for 100 ruppes he will improve your sword. It will be ready the next day.

Go to Goron Village and enter the cave that was previously frozen. Here, in Goron form, pay 100 ruppes for the Powder Keg. Take the barrel to the place where you saved the elder Goron, go up the slippery ramps and leave the explosive on the rock blocking the passage. In the Goron race, win and get a bottle containing Gold Dust. The next morning, return to the blacksmith to receive the Razor Sword. Give the Gold Dust to the blacksmith, leave your sword to be upgraded, and come back the next morning to get the Gilded Sword.

On the outskirts of Deku Scrub Palace, go to the place where there are electric dragonflies. Go down to the lakeside building, use the fire to burn the web blocking the entrance and discover the Skulltula temple. Your goal here is to collect 30 Skulltulas. Most spiders are visible, but some require specific strategies:

1 – Use the Bottle to catch insects and release them into the holes in the wall to attract the Skulltulas. 2 – Plant Magic Beans in the dirt holes and water them to create floating platforms that will allow you to access higher areas. 3 – Play the Sonata of Awakening to the sleeping Deku Scrub to open an escape passage. 4 – Knock down the beehives from the ceiling to reveal the hidden Skulltulas. 5 – As Goron, punch trees and pots to find more Skulltulas.

After collecting the 30 Skulltulas, talk to the man at the exit of the temple to receive the Mask of Truth.

Finally, return to the still frozen Goron Village. Play the Goron Lullaby for baby Goron. Light the Deku Stick on the torch and use it to light the other eleven torches around the room, making the chandelier spin. Use the ramp and Goron Roll to knock down parts of the chandelier, causing Meat to fall to the ground. Give Meat to the Goron in front of the blacksmith’s hut to receive Don Gero’s Mask, another important piece for your mask collection.

ROMANI FARM

In Romani, follow the side of the main entrance towards the swamp. When you see an imposing rock blocking your path, use the powder keg to detonate it and open a passage. During the first day, look for the young girl on the farm and interact with her. This one will challenge you to ride the horse Epona and hit several moving balloons. When you complete this task, you will learn the melody known as Epona’s Song.

Then look for the chicken coop on the farm. Find the employee and start a conversation with them. Equip yourself with the Bremen Mask and play a song using the B button on the controller. This melody will attract the chicks scattered around the place. Collect them all and as a reward, you will receive the Bunny Hood.

On the second day, pay attention to movements on the farm. At 2am, find the young girl again and follow her to the stable. A horde of creatures will threaten the peace of the place and you must protect the stable, using your bow and arrows. Your map will be a crucial guide in anticipating the direction of attacks. If you hold out until 5:30 am, the girl will give you a bottle as thanks.

Still on the second day, talk to the girl again and wait until 6 pm. From this time on, you will need to protect a cart, using your arrows to fend off thieves who will try to approach it. Complete this path successfully and you will receive Romani’s Mask. As the last challenge on the farm, ride Epona and talk to the milkmen. Beat them in a race and the reward will be Garo’s Mask.

Then, get ready to explore IKANA KANYON.

IKANA KANYON

Position yourself to the left of Clock Town and mount Epona, follow the mountainous path. When you reach the last fence, use the Lens of Truth to reveal the presence of an invisible soldier in the circle of stones. Gift this soldier a red potion to receive the Stone Mask.

During his journey, the hero Link goes beyond his sword skills. He interacts with a series of mutations, taking on the forms and abilities of other creatures. Deku Scrub Link, for example, can float on water and interact in a unique way with others of his species. Goron Link, on the other hand, is capable of destroying monsters and rocks with powerful punches and is the only one who can carry the powder keg bomb. Proceed to IKANA GRAVEYARD.

IKANA GRAVEYARD

At IKANA GRAVEYARD, head up the mountain at night until you see a giant skull. Awaken her with the Sonata of Awakening and chase her, throwing arrows to slow her down. After destroying it, jump over the ledge and collect the Captain’s Hat.

On the first day, visit the cemetery at night. Use the Captain’s Hat and talk to the skulls to open a new passage. Go down this passage, light the three torches present and face the warrior that appears. Attack him when he sticks his ax to the ground to learn the Song of the Storm.

On the third day, repeat the previous steps and follow the open passage. Talk to the gravedigger and allow him to follow you to the dirt mounds. Ask him to dig and reveal four haunts, then challenge the ghost leader. Beat this boss using arrows and you will receive the Bottle as a reward.

GREAT BAY

GREAT BAY is rich in details and challenges. Start by riding in Epona and head to the beach near the town. Take a fast gallop, jumping the fences until you reach the Great Bay region. At the edge of the beach, you’ll find a Zora in trouble, apparently drowned. Drag him to the safe sand and, as a thank you, play the “Song of Healing”. You will be rewarded with Zora’s Mask. Proceed towards ZORA HALL.

ZORA HALL

Find the tunnel on the beach and swim to the island that resembles a fish tail. Neutralize the sentry protecting the underwater passage and enter the Zoras’ refuge. Interact with all the characters in the location and don’t forget to activate the owl statue.

Return to the beach where you started, but this time, swim around the rocks on the right. Your mission is to destroy all wooden signs with skulls on them, both on land and underwater, to reveal a new passage.

You will arrive at GERUDO LAGOON.

GERUDO LAGOON

Here, equip the Stone Mask to become invisible and swim to the left. Use the Goron Stomp attack on the button and, now as Zora, go through the underwater passage that has opened. Use the diving ability to destroy the obstacles and carefully shoot the jewel located at the top, avoiding touching the spikes. Once you reach the jewel, a new passage will open.

In the next environment, step on the button to raise the grate and position yourself on the pipe. Shoot an arrow at the button to be launched to the top floor. Destroy the air mines and press the button to open the door.

In this new area, use the Stone Mask, climb the tower, cross the bridge and enter the door ahead. Shoot an arrow through the grate to hit the hive, scaring away the pirates and getting the Hookshot. With it, get the egg from the aquarium using the bottle and use the Hookshot on the pillars to access passages that lead to the pirate leaders. Collect the three remaining eggs in the other aquariums.

Return to the hut on Great Bay beach and pour the eggs from the bottles into the water tank. Next, move towards the two sharp rocks near the hut and walk underwater. To avoid getting lost in the maze, follow the sequence: first front, third right, first front, first left, first front and head towards the structure.

Destroy the eels that inhabit the holes with your magic and, in the tunnels, collect three more eggs. Then, talk to the scientist as Zora and use the Ocarina to learn “New Wave Bossa Nova”.

BONUS

Head to the Great Bay waterfall, and nearby, use the Hookshot on the trees on the platforms to climb to a passage next to the waterfall. Talk to the beaver and, as Zora, follow it along the underwater path past the 20 rings. On the second attempt, try to go through 25 rings and get a bottle as a reward.

At Great Bay Beach, use a bomb on the crack in the empty house to find another Skulltula Temple. To find 30 spiders, in addition to the visible ones, follow the steps:

1 – Use Hookshot on spiders from a distance; 2 – Burn the webs to open paths; 3 – In the library, knock down the pictures, climb the shelves, push them and pull the drawers; 4 – Look behind the skulls hanging on the walls.

Completing this mission on the 1st day will give you the Giant Wallet.

On the 1st day, visit Clock Town and remember the episode of the robbery that occurred at 0:00 PM. On the 3rd day, go to the right side of the city and buy the All Night Mask for 500 ruppes at the store that opens at night.

GREAT BAY TEMPLE

To start, teleport to Zora Hall. Once there, play “New Wave Bossa Nova” next to the woman, awakening the giant turtle island. Use the Hookshot on the turtle island tree to get a ride to the temple.

Arriving at the first room of the temple, dive into the water and activate the valve that you will find at the bottom. This will turn on a water jet. Jump into the whirlpool that will appear and enter the middle tunnel. Use the Hookshot on the chest to get the temple map. Keep following the passage at the bottom, where you’ll find a chest with a Silver Key. Then, look for a chest above to find the Compass.

Return to the whirlpool and follow the red tunnel, where you will have to climb through a pipe to face a mini-boss. To beat him, use the Fire Arrows to knock down the bubbles that protect the enemy’s eye and attack them on the ground. When the enemy’s protection decreases, hit the eye directly. Then, stand in a corner, wait for the enemy to roll towards you and hit him in the eye again to get the Ice Arrow.

Return to the location where you purchased the Compass. Use the Ice Arrow in the water to create ice platforms and jump to the passage above. Here, you will face Gekkho. Dodge the bubbles and attack him when you can. When he sticks to the ceiling, hit him with an Ice Arrow to get the Boss Key.

Return to the location where you found the map. Create more ice platforms with your Ice Arrows and get to the door. Lure the gelatinous enemy to the ice platform, use the Ice Arrow on it and climb on it to reach a valve.

Return to the whirlpool, use the Ice Arrow to freeze the waterfall that forms a staircase. Use the ice platforms to reach another valve. Return to the room before the first boss and use the Ice Arrow to freeze the floating enemies, using them as platforms to reach a third valve.

Return to the first room of the temple, use the Hookshot on the ceiling target, fall onto the red pipe and activate the valve next to it. Jump into the water, activate the yellow valve, return to the whirlpool and follow the green tunnel at the bottom. Go up the pipe and activate another valve. This location will be important later, as here you will return to face the boss.

In the whirlpool, follow the middle tunnel and avoid the spikes. Go up the elevator, freeze the waterfall, jump to the elevator next to it and unfreeze. Wait for the propeller to be in a vertical position, fire an Ice Arrow at the waterfall so that the propeller stops in a horizontal position and serves as a bridge. Climb the seesaws, defrost the ceiling pipes to climb to the last valve, and then go to the boss room, Gryorg.

When facing Gryorg, stand at the edge of the platform and shoot an arrow at the monster’s head when he threatens to jump. While he is down, transform into Zora, go down into the water and attack the enemy. Repeat the process carefully, avoiding staying in the water for too long, and return to the center when it attacks the platform. Keep this strategy up until you defeat Gryorg.

IKANA CANYON

Start by climbing to the location where you rescued the invisible soldier earlier. Put on Garo’s Mask and talk to the individual sitting on the rock. It will disappear, leaving a log in its place. Use the Hookshot to reach this log.

Lake monsters can be frozen with the Ice Arrow. Once they are frozen, you can jump over them to reach the platform. Use the Hookshot again to climb the mountain. Enter the cave to the north and escape the wizard chasing you. Play the Song of Storm to drive him away.

In the music house, try to talk to the girl. She will get scared, so keep your distance and wait for her to move away. Take the opportunity to enter the house. In the basement you will find a mummy. Play the Song of Healing for her and you will receive Gibdo’s Mask.

Before proceeding to the next part of the level, make sure to collect the following items: 20 Deku Nuts, 10 Bombs, 5 Magic Beans, 1 Fish in a Bottle, 1 Milk in a Bottle, 1 Empty Bottle and 1 Dynamite.

At Ikana Canyon, go down the shaft on the right. Use Gibdo’s Mask to talk to the mummies. The first mummy will ask for 10 Deku Nuts. Give them and follow the path to the right, where you will find another mummy who will also ask for 10 Deku Nuts. The next obstacle is a wizard, who must be defeated with arrows and captured in a Bottle. Give the Bottle (Poe) to the creature in the second mummy’s room. Afterwards, give the Milk to the last mummy.

In the same room, light the four torches to get the Mirror Shield. Use it to reflect sunlight onto a specific design and clear the passage. Please note that the delivery sequence of items may change.

With Gibdo’s Mask, enter the temple. Shoot a Fire Arrow at the frozen eye on the pillar and head left. Activate the jewel and hide behind the plants to avoid being crushed. Jump to the platform on the right and step on the button to open the door.

Destroy the spiders and air mines. Transform into Deku Scrub and fly to the platform in the corner, where you must activate the button. To go back, use the Lens of Truth to see the invisible platform. On the roof, climb the wall, jump to the platform with the button and press it to enter the temple.

Inside the temple, go through the door on the right, use the Mirror Shield to reflect sunlight at the obstacle and get ready to face Wizrobe again. On the roof, use Dynamite on the crack, reflect the light to destroy the obstacle and face King Yigorse.

During the battle, use the Fire Arrow to destroy the curtains, revealing the skulls. To deal with them, use the Bremen Mask to make the skulls dance, and then defeat them with your sword. When they are down, use the light reflected by the Mirror Shield to destroy them once and for all.

When facing King Yigorse, use the Mirror Shield to reflect sunlight onto him and hit him with the sword. When he falls, use sunlight again to defeat him once and for all. As a reward, you will learn the Elegy of Emptiness.

STONE TOWER

Start by heading back to the shadowy Ikana Canyon, a location we’ve visited before.

Transform into Goron Link using the Goron Mask. This character is known for his strength and endurance, making him ideal for overcoming the physical obstacles that follow. Go up the tunnel on the right. This section requires precision, so be careful not to fall into the cracks.

When faced with the suspended platforms, it is important to take into account that Goron Link is not particularly agile, so it is crucial to use the correct timing and rhythm to jump from one platform to another. Crossing these suspended platforms will require good timing, but it will also be a great opportunity to enjoy the panoramic view of Ikana Canyon.

Use Elegy of Emptiness at this point. This mysterious song has the power to create a soulless clone of yourself that takes the form of the character you’re controlling when you play it. This clone will hold still, which is perfect for holding down push buttons and solving weight-based puzzles. Tap it while standing on the button to create a Link Goron statue, which will hold the button down.

Now it’s time to use Hookshot. This item, which is essential in any Link adventure, allows you to quickly move between different points by grabbing them. Use it to climb higher into the tower. As you go up you will find other buttons. Continue playing the Elegy of Emptiness, switching between Link’s various forms to create dolls of different sizes and weights to press those buttons.

Finally, you’ll reach the top of the tower where you’ll find three buttons. They must be triggered in a specific sequence: right, left and middle. Use the Elegy of Emptiness on each of them, always switching between Link’s forms to create the correct dolls to activate the buttons in the correct sequence.

By pressing the buttons in the correct sequence, you will create a solid bridge to the castle. Cross the newly formed bridge to enter the castle.

STONE TOWER TEMPLE

At the Stone Tower Temple, you should start by entering the door on the right. Once inside, you will come across three buttons. To press all three simultaneously, use Elegy of Emptiness to create puppets. Keep in mind that the larger button requires more weight to press, so leave the Goron Link statue on it.

Look around the room carefully and you’ll notice a cracked wall. Use one of your bombs to blow up this wall and reveal a new path. Inside this new path, find one of the smaller boxes available and place it over the remaining button. Additionally, you will need to use an additional bomb to destroy the brown square on the floor of the room. This will reveal an underground passage.

Descending through this underground passage, you will find deep darkness. Use available light to navigate and find the map. Then transform into Goron Link to use your brute strength to destroy the statues you will encounter. When you destroy these statues, you will be rewarded with a silver key. Use this key to unlock the upstairs door.

On this new floor, you will have to transform into Zora Link. Jump into the lake and let the aquatic plant capture you. The blueprint will launch you directly to the second silver key. Take this key and then head through the underwater tunnel. When you emerge, you will find a walkway. On it, use the light to reflect on the mirror for a few seconds. By doing this, the light will move the blockage out of the way.

Inside the next chest you’ll find, get the compass. Return to the chained door you saw earlier. At this point, it’s time to use the Mask of Stone. Reflect the light back into the mirror for a few seconds and use the light to destroy the blockage in the path. Then transform into Deku Scrub and use the air currents to fly over the lava.

Next, you will face the Garo ghost. During this battle, roll to escape Garo’s attacks, and when he stops to rest, take the opportunity to attack him. When you defeat Garo, you will obtain the Light Arrow.

After the battle, exit the castle and activate the platforms outside. Stop on the third platform and shoot a Light Arrow at the jewel below the castle entrance. This will turn the entire scenario upside down. Now, enter the castle again.

After re-entering the castle, go through the door on the right and use the Light Arrow to remove the next blockage. Continue until you reach the drafty room. Enter the tunnel in this room and activate the switch. Once you’ve done that, go back and get another silver key. Transform back into Deku Scrub and use the air currents to fly to the top of the room. Use the silver key to open the locked door.

Inside this new room, shoot a Light Arrow at the jewel on the wall. This will cause the room to be turned upside down. Transform into Goron Link and cross the lava pool. Then use another Light Arrow to turn the room back to normal.

Now you will have to alternate between turning and turning the room several times, using the Light Arrows to move a large block to a hole in the room. After that, you will have to face Wizrobe. During this confrontation, use the Hookshot to grab the chest that appears during the battle. After defeating Wizrobe, fly across the room and prepare to face a vampire.

To defeat the vampire, use Light Arrows to scare away the bats and hit the vampire while he is unprotected. When he releases more bats, take the opportunity to hit him again. After defeating the vampire, you will receive the Boss Key.

Go back to the previous room and fly down the side path. Use the Mask of Stone to escape the statues that will attack you. Step on the button and get another silver key. Return to the room with the three hanging air mines and head to the door in the corner of the room. Press the button next to the statue. When a chest appears on the ceiling, use the Hookshot to hit it and open another path.

Now, get ready to face the Golem. The best strategy here is to stay on the corners of the platform and avoid the Golem’s laser beams. When it tries to attack, perform a backflip and counterattack by shooting a Light Arrow into the Golem’s yellowed eye. Repeat this procedure until you beat him, when you do this you will be rewarded with the Giant Mask.

Finally, it’s time to face Twin-Mold. Use the Giant Mask to increase your size and attack the monsters’ tails and heads. After defeating Twin-Mold, return to Ikana. Enter the cave on the right and follow it until you find the fairy fountain. Deliver all fifteen fairies you have collected to the castle to receive the most powerful sword in the game, the Big Fairy Sword.

BONUS

DAY 1: Preparation and first visit to Clock Town

On the first day, start your journey by heading to Clock Town. At midnight, equip Romani’s Mask which allows you to be recognized as an adult member and therefore gain access to the Milk Bar Latte, which is closed to children. Once inside, look for the character known as Gorman, who looks like an egg. Get on stage and play your instruments using the different transformations you have at your disposal. Each transformation mask allows you to play a different instrument: The horns as Goron, the drums as Deku, and the guitar as Zora. Under the lights, play the correct parts of the song, speaking to Gorman after each performance. After completing all parts of the song, Gorman will give you the Circus Leader’s Mask as thanks.

Access to the Stone Tower Temple

After the Milk Bar event, head to the Stone Tower Temple. Enter the door on the right and create a clone to press the three buttons on the floor. Use the Goron mask to transform into Darmani, the Goron warrior, as only he has enough weight to press the larger button. Now, find a bomb and use it to blow up the cracked wall that is hiding a path. Grab one of the smaller boxes nearby and place it on the remaining button. Then, use another bomb to destroy the brown square on the floor and go down through the hole that opened.

First day in East Clock Town and Stock Pot Inn

In East Clock Town, arrange a visit to the Stock Pot Inn at 2pm. Talk to the receptionist and postman who are present. After the postman leaves the location, speak to the receptionist again using Kafei’s Mask. Wait until midnight and enter the hotel again through the balcony door, talk to the clerk at the back to receive the letter addressed to Kafei. Drop this letter into one of the city’s mailboxes.

DAY 2: Delivery of the Pendant of Memories

On the second day, visit the Laundry Pool at 3pm. The postman will arrive to deliver the letter you posted the day before. When Kafei receives the letter, enter her house and obtain the Pendant of Memories. After 4pm, return to the hotel and give the pendant to the receptionist.

DAY 3: Masks and decisions

On the third day, return to Kafei’s house between 1pm and 5pm. There, talk to the shopkeeper and you will receive the Keaton Mask and the Express Mail to Mama. Use the Inverted Song of Time to slow down the flow of time. Now you have two options, which provide different items. However, remember that you can go back in time to choose the other option if you wish.

  1. At the postman’s house at night, deliver the Express Mail to Mama. Follow the postman to the Milk Bar and talk to him to receive the Postman’s Cap.
  2. At 6pm, go to the Milk Bar. Use Kafei’s Mask and talk to Madame Aroma, deliver the Express Mail to Mama to receive an extra Bottle.

Here, you’ll control both Kafei and Link in a puzzle-solving sequence to obtain the mask. The actions are as follows:

  1. Link: step on the button to open the door.
  2. Kafei: push the block to the green button.
  3. Link: destroy the plant.

After completing this mission, return to the hotel in Clock Town, go up the stairs and enter the first door on the right. There you will find Anju, the hotel receptionist, in bed. Wait until the last few hours for Kafei to appear. When the two meet, you will be presented with the Couple’s Mask.

FINAL BATTLE

The first step we must complete is to climb the tower that is located in Clock Town. Climbing this tower can be a challenge in itself, with its winding structure and obstacles positioned along the way that will try to stop you from reaching the top. Get ready for a climb full of action and surprises.

Once at the top of this tower, we need to play the “oath to order” to Skullkid. “Oath to order” is a mysterious and beautiful song that plays a crucial role in the game’s plot. When playing this melody, there must be precise synchronization between each note played, generating a harmony that will resonate in Skullkid’s heart.

Right after this musical performance, you will be transported to a stunning green plain. Here, the lush, rolling landscape of green grass is broken by the sight of five boys, each wearing one of the sacred masks. This is a unique and enigmatic scene, with a touch of surrealism that highlights the game’s magical atmosphere.

At this point, an important moment of choice presents itself. You have two possible paths to follow: the first path involves fighting for possession of the last mask; the second path takes you directly to face Majora.

If you decide to go the first route, it’s important to note that this requires you to already have all twenty normal masks in your possession. Fighting for the last mask is a final challenge that will test all the skills you have acquired throughout the game. This route is for true completionists who want to get every item and explore every corner of the game world.

If, on the other hand, you choose the second path, you can go directly to the final battle against Majora. To choose this route, you must talk to the boy who is sitting and choose the first option he offers.

BONUS

First, you must look for the boy who wears the Odolwa mask. Finding him is just the beginning – you must then give him any mask you have, on the condition that it is not a transformation mask. After making this switch, you will find the launcher blueprints. These plants act like catapults, launching you over the abyss. When you cross this cliff, you will meet another boy, to whom you must give another mask from your collection.

Next, your target is the boy carrying the Goato mask. When you find him, you must give him two of your masks. After this exchange, it’s time to use the goron roll, an ability acquired with the Goron mask that allows Link to roll at high speed. With this move, you must jump the ramp. On your way, you’ll see chests – don’t worry about the curves, just run into them. After completing this part, you must return to the boy and give him two more masks.

Next is the boy with the Gyorg mask. This step requires you to give him three masks. After this interaction, it’s time to transform into a Zora using the Zora mask and dive. While submerged, you will encounter an underwater maze. The path to follow is: left, left, right and right. Once you have completed this maze, you must return to the surface and give the boy three more masks.

Now, find the boy with the Twin-Mold mask. You must give him four of his masks. After this exchange, prepare for a battle against previously faced bosses. Defeat them and collect the bombchus. Use them to destroy a cracked wall. As you advance into the next room, use another bombchu to destroy the cracked ceiling. On the ceiling, there is an eye that must be shot with a fire arrow. Once this task is complete, give the last four masks to the boy.

Finally, go to the boy with Majora’s mask. When speaking to him, you must select the first option that is offered. As a reward for completing these tasks, you will receive the fierce deity’s mask. This powerful mask transforms Link into a divine form, greatly enhancing his combat abilities. Now, in possession of the Fierce Deity’s Mask, you are ready for the final battle against Majora’s Mask.

MAJORA’S MASK

If you are using the Fierce Deity’s Mask, the final battle against Majora’s Mask will be significantly easier. The Fierce Deity’s Mask transforms Link into a powerful version of himself, providing a significant increase in his offensive capabilities. In this form, his sword has a much greater range and attack power. With the Fierce Deity’s Mask, your strategy should be simple and straightforward: attack Majora’s Mask continuously and with force. Your enhanced form will allow you to overcome any boss form without much difficulty, allowing you to focus on delivering offensive blows without worrying too much about defense.

However, if you choose to face Majora’s Mask without the Fierce Deity’s Mask, the final battle will be more complex and challenging, as Majora’s Mask will go through three different forms, each requiring a specific strategy.

Majora’s mask:

The first form is Majora’s Mask itself. In this phase, you must chase Majora, avoiding her attacks, and when she comes down, hit her from behind. This will knock her down, allowing you to attack again. During this phase, sacred masks will appear as additional enemies. When they appear, focus on one of them and attack when it comes down. Be cautious of magical attacks, use your shield to protect yourself.

Majora’s incarnation:

The second form is Majora’s Incarnation. In this form, the strategy is similar to the first phase. Keep chasing Majora, dodging and blocking his attacks. When she comes down, attack her from behind to knock her down and attack again. Again, when the sacred masks appear, lock your sights on one of them and attack when it comes down, always remembering to use your shield to defend yourself from the spells.

Majora’s Wrath:

The third and final form is Majora’s Wrath. Here, Majora becomes more dangerous and the strategy needs to change. At this stage, it is important to keep your distance, as Majora’s Wrath can deliver powerful whip attacks that deal significant damage. Stay away and use your arrows to attack from a distance. Repeat this process, remaining vigilant and dodging attacks, until you finally manage to exterminate the villain.

After the battle is complete, you will be able to enjoy the conclusion of the adventure, with the ending showing scenes that vary depending on the number of masks you managed to collect during the game. The reward for your bravery and persistence is a beautiful ending that celebrates your journey and the challenges you overcame.
