Collecting the 1st Spiritual Stone

Kokiri Forest

Leaving his house, he will meet Saria , Link’s best friend, who is happy that he finally got a fairy. Talk to the children in the forest, you will discover that the passage to Deku Tre is being blocked by a grumpy boy called Mido , the leader of the Kokiris. Go to the left of your house and you will find Mido, he will say that it is very dangerous to go forward, only someone with at least a shield and a sword can pass. You must obtain these equipment to pass through Mido. To the right of Link’s house, go up the rise and go straight towards some fences, reaching a small hole in the wall. Enter through it, finding a small maze with a large rolling stone, wait for the stone to pass and go through the maze, reaching a chest. Open it and find the Kokiri Sword .

Go all the way back and go to Mido’s house (in front of the hill), where you will find some Rupees in the chests and if you’re lucky there will be a heart. Walk through the tall grass nearby to get some of these small crystals. Get at least 40 Rupees and run to the village store (In the center of the lake; on the left). When you’re ready, go talk to Mido. Seeing you with a sword and shield, he will allow you to go visit the great Deku Tree. Keep killing the Deku Babas on the way to get a decent amount of Deku Sticks. When she reaches the large tree, she will explain that she is dying, having been cursed by Ganondorf’s unholy magic, which destroys her from the inside out. She asks Link to penetrate inside her and try to prevent this from happening. Enter through the ”mouth” of the tree that has opened.

Inside the Deku Tree

Go forward and climb the stairs on your left. Follow this path and you will soon find a chest containing the Map. Continue, jump over the hole and enter the room. The door will lock behind you. Use your shield to bounce the opponent’s attacked nut to the center so that he starts running across the room. Go to the center where the opponent was then aim at him (Z Button) to make the door unlock. Jump on the platforms, get the Fairy Slingshot inside the chest and turn towards the door. Aim at the stairs and shoot, opening a passage for you to return.

Approach the wall (Where you found the Map) and use your Slingshot to kill the spiders. Go to the top and then keep running until you reach another room. Step on the floor switch to activate the platforms, jump to the other side and get the Compass from the chest, jump to the other side and shoot the spider to get the Gold Skulltula and in the chest there is a Recovery Heart, use the Deku Stick on the torch , turning it on. Then light the unlit torch to open the door. Before continuing, note the Giant Skulltula, which will fall from the ceiling. Kill her with a blow to the abdomen, then jump, aiming for the spider web below. The web will tear and you will fall into a room full of water.

Kill the spider and the Gold Skulltula will appear, there is a switch on the second platform. Step on the Switch and the torch will light up so jump to get your prize. Use the Deku Stick and light it, jump to the next platform. Burn the web to reveal a new passage, go through it.

You’ll encounter another Deku Scrub, who should get his nut busted, hit, and interrogated. It will reveal a sequence for Queen Gohma’s room: 231. Above the door you will find an eye. Hit it to be able to pass.

Dive in and look for a switch, on the left, causing the water to go down for a certain time. Cross quickly. Kill the Giant Skulltula and push the block. Climb up the block and reach the door. Kill the enemies, light the torches and enter the door. Kill the Giant Skulltula. Use the Deku Stick on the torch, lighting it, burning the webs. Enter through the hole.

Push the block until it drops, forming a bridge for you to jump to the platform with a torch. Light a Deku Stick and run back to the web on the ground, hitting it with the stick.

You will encounter three Deku Scrubs at once. You must hit them (Hitting the nuts) the sequence is the one said by the Deku Scrub interrogated some time ago (231) . Look up and get ready for the boss!

Boss: Gohma

To kill her, stand in front of her. She will attack, so get out of her way and attack the boss’s eye that will fall, take the opportunity to punch the boss. When she gets up, she will climb the walls to the ceiling so shoot her with the Slingshot to make her fall . Repeat the sequence until you defeat it.

Then collect the Heart Container. Once outside, the Deku Tree will tell the legend of the Triforce. Before dying, it grants you the protection of Kokiri’s Emerald.

Collecting the 2nd Spiritual Stone

Kokiri Forest

Talk to everyone once the Deku Tree has died. Strangely, Saria cannot be found. Use the right exit where you will find Saria, she will give you the Fairy Ocarina , a way for Link to remember her. Continue through Kokiri Forest, arriving at the Hyrule Fields .

Hyrule Field

An owl will give you a Map of Hyrule . Now, cross the map to the north , reaching the Market (In the lower part of Hyrule Castle). If you try this at night, the city gates will be closed and you will have to face some Stalchilds .

Market & Hyrule Castle

Enter the door and break the pots to get some Rupees. Go straight ahead, if it’s night , you’ll find a singing girl called Malon (in the center). She will say that her father is missing and thinks he must be sleeping somewhere near the castle. Head to Hyrule Castle (South), you will find the Owl again, then talk to the guard and go up to the center of the plant, be spotted by one of the guards, and be thrown towards the main gate . Go back a little and talk to Malon .

She will give you the Weird Egg to help find your father. Climb up the vine again and go through the gates. Now you need to go over the elevations so as not to be caught by the guards protecting the road. Climb up the wall and go down into the river to get past the guards. Use the Weird Egg to wake Talon (Malon’s Father), he will go away then push the boxes into the water. Enter through the hole and move forward, avoiding being seen by the guards. On the second screen, walk on the wood to avoid being seen by the guard. At the end of the path is Princess Zelda.

Talk to her, Zelda will talk about her bad omens and Link’s duty to save Hyrule, as well as other little things (Ganondorf, king of the Gerudos). The princess asks Link to go talk to Impa, her nanny, giving him Zelda’s Letter .

When trying to leave the place, Impa will appear out of nowhere. She will teach you how to play Zelda’s Lullaby on your Ocarina, to be used everywhere with the royal emblem. Then she will escort you out of the castle.

Hyrule Field/Lon Lon Ranch

Go to Lon Lon Ranch (North from left) . Talk to Malon and show him your Ocarina to learn Epona’s Song . Enter the cabin, play the game Talon proposes and receive a marriage proposal for Malon and a Bottle Lon Lon Milk. Drink its contents as soon as necessary. Return to Kokiri Forest, and enter the Lost Woods (Behind Mido’s house) .

Lost Woods

Here you will find Saria. To find it, follow the following route: right, left, right, left, center, left and right . At the end you will find a wolf, defeat him. Past the wolf, you will find a maze full of enemies.

Cross it to find Saria, your dear friend. She will teach you Saria’s Song , after which return to Hyrule Field and head to Kakariko Village (To the left of Hyrule Castle).

Kakariko Village/Graveyard

You will have several things to do in Kakariko. First, try to find the seven chickens to win the Empty Bottle; Go to the cemetery (next door), but only go at night . Push the tombstone with flowers in front and get the Hylian Shield from the chest , go back and at the end of the cemetery, stand in front of the large tombstone, over the royal emblem (The symbol representing the Triforce) and play Zelda’s Lullaby. The tombstone will explode, revealing a passage. Inside, finish off all the Keese (Or run away, as they are dangerous!) to open the door. In the next room, read the inscriptions on the wall and learn the Sun’s Song, the royal family’s secret song. Return to the cemetery, go talk to the guard at the Death Mountain gate and give him Zelda’s Letter , this way he will open the gate for you, as well as asking for a mask.

Death Mountain Trail

Climb the hill, but watch out for enemies. You will see Dodongo’s Cavern , but it will be blocked by a large rock, so you should ignore it for now. Go up the slope, talking to the Gorons. Then go right when the path splits, finding a town… Just watch out for the big rolling Goron that can knock you over.

Goron City

Talk to the Gorons, they generally say that Ganondorf sealed the entrance to Dodongo’s Cavern with a large stone. The problem is that Dodongo’s Cavern is the main source of its nutrient food: stones. Everyone is starving and the king, Darunia, has locked himself in her room, waiting for a royal messenger. Go down the stairs to the lowest floor . There, step onto the carpet with the royal family’s insignia and play Zelda’s Lullaby . This will cause the door to open, revealing grumpy Darunia’s room. He says that strange music that seems to come from the forests always cheers him up. And the song he’s referring to is Saria’s Song . Touch it and immediately the king will get up and start dancing. After the embarrassing sequence, he will say that you are a brave boy and that you deserve a reward: the Goron’s Bracelet , which allows you to grab the bombs that are born from the Bomb Flowers. Leave Goron City the same way you entered.

Death Mountain Trail

There is a platform above the sealed entrance to Dodongo’s Cavern, very close to the entrance to Goron City. There is a Bomb Flower and a Goron that teaches you how to use bombs. Pick up the Bomb Flower and throw it , trying to hit the big rock. If it hits you will open the large passage to the cave. Enter the cave.

Dodongo’s Cavern

Get a Bomb Flower and destroy the stone wall. Run forward, jump on the platform and go right. Take one of the Bomb Flowers and place it in front of the stone wall to get the Dungeon Map , throw the other Bomb Flower at the Eye Enemy. Go to the hall and run without stopping, avoiding the Dodongo puppies. At the end there is a switch that remains pressed. Pull the statue over it so you can go through the door.

Time to beat Lizalfos! Use your techniques to take them both down, unlocking the door so you can continue. Take the Bomb Flower and place it in front of the stone door, use Deku Stick on the torches and light the ones without fire.

Back in the main hall, step on the switch to unlock the door in one of the corners of the room. Enter the unlocked door, place a Bomb Flower on the stone wall, fighting with the Armos Statue, to kill this statue just throw a bomb at it, when defeated, it will explode and the door will be unlocked. Take the Compass from the chest , return to the previous screen.

Take the bomb in front of this door and place it in the middle and a little to the left, so a staircase will form. Climb the ladder formed, going through the door at the top.

You don’t need to destroy the Armos in the new room, as there is no need for it. Push the fake Armos from in front of the stairs, allowing you to proceed. At the top there will be a switch to open this room. Step on it, cross the bridge until you reach the next room. Fall into the small maze with walking spikes. At the end there is a blue block against a staircase. Push the box and jump to the side with a Bomb Flower and a chest with some Rupees. Pick up the bomb and aim it at the wall above the stairs. When the bomb flashes red, throw it. If everything goes well, the bomb will blow up the wall, revealing a new path. There is fire on the way so use the Slingshot and shoot the eye above the door. Go forward and you will reach a new room with Lizalfos, but higher up. Beat them and get the Bomb Bag from the chest in the next room. Now you will be able to carry your own bombs. In the next room, step on the switch, if you accidentally fall, it will be easy to reach the second floor as the two platforms on the side act as an elevator.

Throw bombs into the eyes of the Dodongo statue from the holes in the bridge. This way, it will open its mouth and allow you access to new areas. Blow up the wall at the end of the bridge, if your Deku Shield is burnt you will get it from the chest. Enter the door at Dodongo’s mouth, go right and then go down then follow the path on the left. You’ll find some blocks you can climb up to. Go up, destroy the door and go inside, you will find a Skulltula. Continue going up and at the end there is another block, push it to cover the switch (which is just ahead), this will unlock the door, enter the door. If your bomb supply is low, open the nearby chest.

Blow open one last strange door in the floor and go down into a lava pit…

Boss: King Dodongo

Be careful with the fire breath, as it will deplete your energy in two steps. When he lets go, quickly run to his back, or close to the lava. Once it stops rolling, it will open its mouth, allowing you to throw a bomb into it. By doing this, he will swallow the explosive and feel all the pain he deserves, being paralyzed for a while. Attack him with your sword and repeat the sequence to kill him.

Beating King Dodongo, get the Heart Container. Exit and Darunia will appear, giving you Goron’s Ruby, the second Spiritual Stone. Just one more to go. Return to Goron City, near the entrance to Goron City, when the path splits take the left path, burst the rocks and go forward, exchange your Deku Shield for the Hylian Shield. Use the Hylian Shield to protect yourself from rocks and ash. When you reach the point where you have to climb, use the Slingshot to finish off the Skulltulas. Blast the wall to the left of the sign to reach a temple, where you must play Zelda’s Lullaby over the Triforce symbol. This will summon the Great Fairy who will grant you the magic meter and the Sword Slash technique. Talk to Mr. Owl who will give you a ride to the bottom of the mountain, over one of the houses, from where you can get a Heart Piece. Go back to Hyrule Castle, look for a place with the sign ”Dead End”. Blow up the rock to find the second Great Fairy, who will give you the great Din’s Fire spell! These two spells are extremely important for your adventure. So, don’t forget to pick them up.

Go to Zora’s domain, near Kakariko City. Just jump into the nearby river and swim against the tide.

Collecting the 3rd Spiritual Stone

Zora’s River

Blast the rocks and move forward. Take the chicken to cross, you will soon find a large rock formation (Like several bridges), with a waterfall in the background. Play Zelda’s Lullaby on the Ocarina and the waterfall will stop , opening a passage behind it, finding the entrance to Zora’s Domain!

Zora’s Domain

Go ahead, talk to the Zoras. Follow the path to the top, to the ”throne” room where the great king Zora awaits you. He will say Ruto has disappeared! Ruto is the princess of the Zora kingdom. Run to the cave to the left of the throne room and talk to Zora, saying that you want to participate in the diving game. She collects all the Rupees he throws and receives the Silver Scale item . Now you can dive deeper! In the water, look for a passage in front of the waterfall. Use your new diving techniques to get there.

Lake Hylia

When you reach the surface, get out of the water and dive again, trying to collect the submerged pot , releasing some bubbles. Inside it is a note. A message from the princess is written on it. She says: Help me. I am waiting for you inside the belly of Lord Jabu Jabu. She also asks them not to say anything to her father. Return to Zora’s Domain the same way you came.

Zora’s Domain / Zora’s Fountain

Give the pot with the message to King Zora and he will read it. Apart from the situation, he will give way to the lake of Lord Jabu Jabu, an immensely large living creature, resembling a statue. Return to the shallow waters where you went to Lake Hylia, looking for fish. Use your jars to get them , without having to pay a fortune for one of these in the store! Once you have the fish, go to Zora’s Fountain, behind the king. There you will spot Lord Jabu Jabu. Ignore him for now, swim behind him until you reach a small island. Use your bombs to open an entrance. Play Zelda’s Lullaby on the Triforce symbol to receive the Farore’s Wind spell from the third Great Fairy! Go back and use the fish in front of Lord Jabu Jabu so that he opens his mouth and sucks everything in.

Inside Jabu Jabu’s Belly

Go forward, past the Octorocks, to find a locked door. Use your Slingshot to hit Lord Jabu’s bell. The door will open. Quickly cross the room and open the door. You will meet Princess Ruto! She will say that she is fine, and will start wandering around, until she falls into a strange hole. Follow her through the same hole, talking to her again. Do it again and she will grant you the honor of carrying her around like a slave. With no other solution, take it and go through the next door. Jump towards the water and when you fall, throw it to the other side and press the switch to go up into the water. Carry her to the exit Reach the area where you first encountered Ruto. Enter the room, avoid the holes and enter the door there. Turn right and stand on the switch, leave Ruto on it so that her weight keeps it activated. Enter through the door, killing all the creatures in this room.

When they are all destroyed, a large chest will appear and inside there is the Boomerang.

Go back to the room where you first encountered Ruto, pick up Ruto again and go to the opposite side of the room. Place it back on the switch, enter the room and face The Tentacle. Just aim with Z, get closer (Not too much) so he comes down, hit him with the Boomerang, when he goes back to the ceiling, repeat the operation. When you beat him, get the Map from the chest and the passage to the corridor that was previously blocked by the tentacle! Follow it.

Now you will have to defeat those bubbles in 40 seconds, to be faster, kill the bubbles by aiming with Z and launching the Boomerang, finishing them off, one containing the Compass will appear! Now go down the Hall and go through the new door formed, inside there is another tentacle, kill it in the same way as the previous one, making the tentacle in the hall disappear. Go there and go through the new door, seeing a third tentacle. When you beat him, the green tentacle in the holes part will disappear.

Now, go back and fall through the hole on the left, enter the room, kill the enemies and throw the Boomerang at the tentacle then throw Ruto on that platform and it will rise, leaving you with the Big Oto.

Boss: Big Oto

Stay away from him, as his suction attack is very dangerous, especially due to the energy removed. Throw the Boomerang, trying to hit the hole in his back and leaving him paralyzed. Now run up to the sphere on its back and hit it with your sword (Z + A). He will get faster and faster with each hit. Getting it right the last time is almost impossible, but not completely impossible. Five or six paralyzes and he will be dead.

When you beat him, climb onto the central platform. Head towards the door, throw the Boomerang at the red things convulsing so they become paralyzed.

Jump to the second platform that goes down the room below, before the room with the strange holes. This will create a bridge to the door on the other side. But the switch won’t stay down and you no longer have Ruto to use as a weight! Go to the other side of the room and get a box to do this job.

Kill all the Jellyfish with your Boomerang, making it a little more habitable. Get a Skulltula behind the vine then climb up to find a bell, enter the door and you will find the boss.

Boss: Barinade

First finish off the jellyfish/tentacles that circle around the central pillar, which shock you. Get a little closer, not too much, and throw the Boomerang to hit the target. When the tentacles are gone, several smaller jellyfish will run towards the body and begin to swirl around the creature. Just step back and watch the show. After a while, they will get tired and come after you. Aim at them with Z and throw the Boomerang to kill them, while you’re aiming, jump to avoid getting hit by the shocks. Just be careful, as the last one will attach itself to the pillar before it dies. The process starts again. The central pillar will reveal itself and continue to try to hit you with electricity. To escape, just dodge to the sides, moving far away.

Throw your Boomerang to try to hit the pillar, if the pillar is hit it will be paralyzed, flashing blue. Quickly draw your sword, aiming with Z+A and kill the jellyfish. Repeat the operation and soon it will be just you and the pillar, paralyze it and attack it with your sword.

When you beat him, get the Heart Container and she will scold you. Princess Ruto will give you Zora’s Sapphire, the last Spiritual Stone! She says it’s the most important thing she has to give.

With all Spiritual Stones

Go to the Market, as you approach you will witness one of the coolest scenes in the game. Impa takes Zelda from the castle, but before she disappears, the princess throws the Ocarina of Time into the nearby moat. Use your diving techniques and catch her. You now have all the items to open the Temple of Time. Zelda will telepathically teach the Song of Time. Return to the Market and go to the Temple of Time (Next to the Happy Mask Shop, looking like a big church).

Temple of Time

Walk towards the altar and, standing on the carpet, place the amulets and play the Song of Time. Go through the portals until you reach an altar with a sword embedded in it. The Master Sword! Take the.

Link remains dormant for seven long years. Years in which Ganondorf had ruled with the help of the Triforce of Power. But his power is not complete. The Triforce of Courage is still with Link, while the Triforce of Wisdom is with the missing Princess Zelda. The wise Rauru reveals that you need six medallions to reach Ganondorf’s castle. You already have one of them, given by Rauru himself.

Collecting the 2nd Medallion

Market

Hyrule is a very different place after seven years. Ganondorf rules everything, while demons have been released in every field. People fear what might happen. Run out of Market and head to Lon Lon Ranch.

Lon Lon Ranch

The time has come to get Epona. For this you have to have Epona’s Song, obtained from Malon at Lon Lon Ranch seven years ago. As an adult and with at least 70 Ruppes in your pocket, talk to Mr. Ingo, the new owner of the place and pay 10 Ruppes to practice with the horses. Instead of using the horse set aside for you, play Epona’s Song and a mare will appear.

Run with her around the course to train a little until the time runs out. He goes down and talks to Mr. Ingo again, doing the same thing as before. But, instead of running along the path, he talks to Mr. Ingo, standing over Epona (Use Z to aim). He will offer the chance to race against him for 50 Ruppes. If you beat him, Epona is yours! But Ingo is a bit treacherous and will demand two victories from you, trapping you and Epona to never leave the ranch. To do so, simply pick up speed and jump the fence. Alive! You can now summon Epona at any time in the fields of Hyrule by playing Epona’s Song. Go to Kakariko Village.

Kakariko Village

Once here, go to the cemetery and look for the left row of tombstones.

The one with some flowers in front of it is the tomb of Dampé, the former gravedigger. Push it, revealing the tunnel. You will encounter the ghost of Dampé. Race against him and receive the Hookshot as a gift.

At the end of this cave is a blue stone, which can be made smaller if you play the Song of Time. Climb the stairs until you reach the mill. Talk to the organ grinder man and he will mention a little boy with an Ocarina seven years ago who drove him completely crazy with the speed at which the windmill turned. Show your Ocarina and he will teach you the Song of Storms.

Before heading into the forest, you can try to get Biggoron’s Sword and some Heart Pieces . Otherwise, hurry to Kokiri Forest!

Kokiri Forest/Lost Woods

Head to Lost Woods, following the sequence or music, the moment will come when Mido will bar your way. Play Saria’s Song to prove you are Saria’s friend. Only then will he let you pass. You will arrive at the Sacred Forest Meadow, Saria and Link’s secret place. Defeat the Moblins in the maze (Using the Hookshot) until you find the large hammer Moblin that sends waves across the ground that hit Link and cause considerable damage. Beat him by moving forward with all your might and dodging the waves.

You’ll also be able to collect some fairies from the nearby Fairy Fountain, as the challenge ahead is quite tricky. Continue and you will find Sheik, who will teach you the Minuet of Forest (Makes you return to the entrance in this same place.), disappearing shortly after. You will find yourself in front of the Forest Temple. Use the Hookshot and hang from the branch above the entrance. You will be on your way to save your friend.

Forest Temple

Kill the two Wolfs right at the entrance. Then, climb the vines on the side (Use the Hookshot to finish off the Skulltula). At the top, there are some bushes and a chest containing the Small Key . Go back and walk towards the main door. You will soon reach the large hall. After the sequence showing the Poe Sisters stealing the flames, go directly forward, entering the door. Kill the Flaming Skull by putting out its flames with the Hookshot. At the end you will find two Stalfos! Once they are dead, break the pots by finding a fairy. Take it or use it, take it from the chest and the second Small Key will appear . Return to the main room.

In a nearby tunnel there is a blue stone, play the Song of Time to make it disappear, follow the passage created, reaching an outdoor location. Climb the wall to your right (Kill the Skulltulas first). Go up until you find a door inside a small alcove. Inside, kill the Blue Flaming Skull to receive the Dungeon Map in the chest, proceed through the next door. Shoot your Hookshot and hang on the white target, once done, activate the switch. This will cause the water in the well to drain. Go down it and find the third Small Key . Now go back to the great hall.

Go through the locked door directly in front of you, crossing the chamber. Use the Small Key, continue down the hallway with a Giant Skulltula, to the room where you will find a staircase. Climb them and pull the stone block to fill the small area. Push it following the arrows painted on the ground. Go back to where it was originally, following the path to the block. Push it into place. You will hear a sound indicating that you have done everything correctly. Use it as a platform to reach the next part. Push the red stone as far as you can, but you won’t be able to complete the job due to limited space. Go back to where the rock was, where there is a ladder. Go there and climb the ladder, finding a small fence, there is a small alcove that allows you to push the red block! Now go back to the red block and push it following the arrows, you will hear a sound if you did everything right.

Follow the red stone path and you will find a locked door.

Unlock it, reaching the crazy room, where there will be a locked door. Use the Small Key you collected to open it. You will find three Stalfos, different from the others, when killed, they just dismantle themselves. If you take too long to kill the other opponents, it will rebuild itself, they can go over the pit, but you can’t do that. After defeating them, a chest containing the Fairy Bow will appear!

Shoot the Poe painting from afar, otherwise he will disappear leaving the screen black. Repeat this for all the paintings (If one of them disappears, you will need to leave the room and repeat from the beginning), until Poe herself appears. If the ghost starts spinning his lamp around like crazy, just dodge sideways. Once hit, it will reappear at any point. Take advantage while it appears to hit it. Repeat until she dies, thus obtaining a new Small Key , go to the room with the three Stalfos, taking the next door. You must repeat the same process (from the paintings to the battle), but this time against a Blue Poe !

He will give you a Compass after being defeated.

Now go back one screen before the crazy hallway. Looking up from the door, you will see an eye, hit it with an arrow, making the room “unfold” now go to the end of the corridor and open the golden chest, getting the Boss Key , but be careful not to be pick it up and return to the start of the Temple of Forest. Now go down through the hole in the floor and kill the Blue Skulls then proceed towards the locked door. Enter the door on the right and you will face a Floormaster! Aim at him and hit him with your arrows or sword. It will split into three pieces.

After finishing Floormaster, a chest will appear containing the second Small Key.

Enter the next door and continue until you reach the locked room, at the top there is an eye, hit it with the arrows and enter. The best way to defeat the giant Deku Baba is to paralyze him with the Hookshot and then use the sword (Z+A). Go back to the red block room and go left, there will be an eye, hit it with your arrows and a chest will appear containing a Bundle of Arrows. Go back to the area before the crazy room and hit the eye again to unwind the room again. Go through it, going down to the Poe area, more precisely to the ex-Stalfos’ room. Go through the Poe room and unlock the locked door. Fall down, grabbing the stairs on the right. Proceed through the corridor with green flame skulls, opening the door with your Key!

This room has a pillar with a torch in the center and four platforms surrounding it. There is an eye nearby, but it is covered in ice. Equip your arrows, climb onto a platform and aim towards the eye, or simply use Din’s Fire to melt the ice . If you are going to use the arrow, it must be fired at the exact moment the torch flame is in front of the target making it a flaming target, but if you use Din’s Fire, just go to the frozen eye platform and use the Din’s Fire.

This will activate the switch and cause the hallway you just came from to curl up. On the way back, fall through the hole in the floor.

Run hard to the switch, staying on it to open the exit and stay protected, as there will be a hole above you. When the ceiling is rising, run to the chest and receive the Bundle of Arrows and you will be safe. Take care of the Skulltulas using your Hookshot so you don’t waste time. Quickly exit the door.

See the figure of Poe. But look carefully and memorize . Now, shoot an arrow at the board , causing blocks to fall from the ceiling. There are figures on them. You must assemble them (by pushing or pulling the blocks) following the board, within 60 seconds. If you fail, the tiles will be reshuffled and you must try again. When you finally succeed, you will face Poe Sister Amy . Use the same techniques as before. When the door is unlocked, go through it, returning to the main hall. With no more doors, run to the center of the room.

But you still need to face the last sister, Meg. She will split into four and circle you. Only the real one takes damage when hit by arrows. Only the one that gives a quick spin is the real one. Quickly aim with Z and fire! After a few shots it will be destroyed. A flying element will appear on the platform so get down.

You must push the wall. With this all the walls will rotate. Keep changing the passages and activating the switches and collecting the items, until you reach the boss’s room. Bring plenty of arrows and fairies.

Boss: Phantom Ganon

Stand in the center of the room and aim with the Fairy Bow. Go look at the paintings. When one of them is surrounded by a purple aura around it, it means that Ganondorf will appear from there . After three hits he will get rid of the horse and start floating on top of you, when he throws a charge at you, counter it with your sword . Sometimes it will bounce back at you, which will require a second attempt.

This can take up to a few minutes, like a tennis match, but eventually one of the two has to make a mistake. And we hope it’s not you, because the damage is very high. When he misses, he will fall to the ground, stunned for a while. Take the opportunity to take out your strongest weapon ( Biggoron’s Sword , if you don’t have one, use the Master Sword) and run towards your opponent, hitting them with everything you have. After about ten hits he was gone.

When you beat him, take the Heart Container, you will see Saria who reveals herself to be one of the six wise women. She gives him the second of the medallions, the Forest Medallion! Return to the Temple of Time.

Collecting the 3rd Medallion

Temple of Time

Go to the altar, where Sheik will be waiting for you. He will teach you the Prelude of Light song and tell you that you can, at any time, rewind time to the moment you touch the Master Sword. Just put the sword back in its resting place. But don’t do that. There is still a lot to do in the future. Go to Goron City .

Goron City

All the Goros have disappeared except one of them, who rolls like crazy on the third floor. Go to the third floor and hit him with a bomb or just place a bomb before he comes and hit him with an arrow, talk to him. When talking to him you will discover that he is Darunia’s son and his name is Link (this name changes depending on how you rename your character).

It informs that Ganondorf released the fire dragon Volvagia, a beast imprisoned by Darunia’s descendants in the Fire Temple and that all the adults went to try to seal Volvagia again. Since none of them have returned so far, he asks you to go to the temple and save them all. To help, he will give you the Goron Tunic that resists fire and grants unlimited time in the temple. Go down the stairs and go to Darunia’s room, as your namesake informed you.

Push the statue and you will find a shortcut to Death Mountain Crater, without having to climb the mountain. Cross the broken bridge with your Hookshot, then encounter Sheik who will teach you the Bolero of Fire, another song for your collection. Climb the large staircase and you will reach the Fire Temple.

Fire Temple

Go up the stairs and go through the door on the left. After the conversation with Darunia, jump on the platforms to the left and you will find a switch. Step on it and free the Goron, talk to him and get a Small Key from the chest in the Goron’s cell . Now return to the entrance of the place and unlock the door on the right, cross the bridge to the wooden platform to the right of the locked door. Soon you will find a wall with a strange part. Blow it up with a bomb and find a cell with a Goron with a Small Key in the chest. Exit the tunnel then cross the chamber until you reach a door with a blue block in front of it. Go through the door and you’ll find another Goron with a Small Key in the chest. With both keys, unlock the door beyond the wooden bridge. Cross the ramp and climb the railing next to the right pillar. Jump onto the pillar, aiming for the Keeses. Push the block onto the pillar of fire, causing it to rise when the volcano erupts. Use your new elevator to get to the top, where there is a locked door. Use your last Small Key on it. Climb up the platforms, killing the Torch Slugs, then jumping to the adjacent area. Push the block off the platform and then reach down and pull it onto the drawing on the floor.

Go back to where the block was and use the new bridge to get to the next area. Climb the grate, the exit is blocked by a large flame, go down a step and throw your Hookshot at the diamond object, quickly climb the grate and enter the door. Now you are in a large maze-like room with huge rocks spinning. Here you need to free two Gorons . The first of them is just to your left, following the wall in this direction finding a Small Key. The second Goron is on the other side in a small alcove finding the second Small Key, in another alcove, blow up the middle wall to reveal a Skulltula . Now go to the locked door (to the right and then north of this alcove) then unlock it. Shoot an arrow at the eye near the ceiling, releasing the barred door. Inside there is a chest with a Dungeon Map , now go out and unlock the door.

In this room, a wall of fire will chase you. So be quick.

Ignore the locked door and follow the path until you find a second door. You are now at the top of the maze. The platform before you, with a Torch Slug, has a large crack in it. Navi says he hears Goron voices there. Blow up the place with a bomb and drop down the grate and move forward. At the bottom there is a Goron and a Small Key. Climb the railing to go back, exploring the other platforms. In one of them you will find a switch that will open a nearby cage, on the other side of the maze. Carefully get there and get the Small Key. Now return to the room with the wall of fire and unlock the door.

Go straight on. Turn left and follow the wall until you find a door with a chest, get the Compass . Go back to where you came from and go left where there is a locked door.

Unlock the door. Go forward, you are now on the opposite side of the room from the fire walls. Step on the switch and quickly run to the area previously protected by a wall of fog. The door ahead is fake and will attack you if you try to open the door so leave a bomb in front of the door, now enter the new door. The next boss awaits you.

Boss: Flare Dancer

Aim with Z and try to pull the black ball to the center with your Hookshot. If you do it correctly, the ball will be in front of you. Hit him with your sword until he starts to run away. Then start chasing him around the main. Hit him until he jumps into the fire again, becoming a flame dancer once again and when the dancer runs with the fire, stay on the wall of the pillar to avoid being hit and wait for him to stop.

Repeat the process until it is dead.

Overdue. The flame in the center will disappear, making the platform an elevator to the upper area. Climb the grate on the wall to the right and throw your Hookshot at the diamond object that will deactivate the flame then quickly climb the grate.

You will now be in a semicircular room, with a large hole in the center. Go up the stairs and activate the switch. The flames around the chest above will disappear for a very short time. Use the platforms near the edge of the hole and try not to fall, as the drop is very long. If you manage to do this in time you will soon receive the Megaton Hammer , an item that can serve as a weapon for Link! Go to your right to find a strange block with a face in the center. Go down and smash it with the Megaton Hammer and it will fall down creating a tunnel for you. Go down and break the statue with the Megaton Hammer to reveal a door. Take out the Keeses then smash the strange block with a face, which will turn the floor into a staircase. At the bottom there is a switch that does not stay down. Go back and get a box and put it on top of the switch then go through the door.

Smash the rock with your face and you will fall into a walled maze. The fallen block will serve as a platform for a locked door. Here there is a switch that, as Navi says, is completely rusted . Use your Megaton Hammer and hit him. Enter, run and roll to the edge and then jump over the opening. Play the Song of Time near the blue stone and it will disappear revealing a switch so smash it, causing the Goron below to be freed. Go down and talk to him, he will say that the statue near the temple entrance has a door behind it. Take the Small Key and climb the blue stone, leaving through the door you entered. Go to the platform ahead and smash the block with your face using your Megaton Hammer. This will not only open the beginning of the dungeon, but also create a small bridge to the boss!

The statue that the Goron was talking about is to the right of the stairs, right at the beginning of the temple. Go there and smash the statue using the Megaton Hammer and then go through the door behind it, kill all the creatures to free the door. Exit through the freed door, avoid the spikes to face. Flare Dancer again.

Once you beat him, the door will open and a chest will appear, it just has some bombs. Go out the door and smash the switch to free the Goron, get the Boss Key from the golden chest . Go to the door in the cell, go up the stairs and go to the right and only then enter the boss’s door.

Now you must face the boss, Volvagia Dragon.

Boss: Volvagia

There are several holes in this room filled with lava, Volvagia will come out of one of these holes, making one of her three attacks (even all at once, if she has already received high damage). Sometimes this will feel like a game of hitting the mole in the hole with a hammer. But there is a difference. Volvagia is very smart and can change the hole it appears in at the last moment, making you wander around four or five times! When it comes out with everything and flies, just dodge the rocks (Use your shield) or the breaths (To avoid them, just run after the dragon’s tail). When he sticks his head out of the hole, smash it with the Megaton Hammer, this will make him groggy for a few seconds.

If you’re fast, you can still hit his head a few times and you can also hit him while he’s in the air, use your arrows or your Hookshot.

Take the Heart Container and enter the blue light, meeting Darunia, the king of the Gorons and third fire sage, who will give you the Fire Medallion.

Collecting the 4th Medallion

Death Mountain Crater

After returning from the Council of Sages, return to where you started, but instead of going straight, turn left. Destroy the rocks with the Megaton Hammer and continue in this direction. Suddenly, Navi will fly onto two rocks and start flashing green. Smash them and enter the temple. Play Zelda’s Lullaby over the Triforce symbol and another Great Fairy will appear , she will double your magic meter. Now you must go to Zora’s Domain. Play the Prelude of Light to go to the Temple and then play Epona’s Song to summon Epona then head to Zora’s Domain. When you get to the part where there are some bridges, play Zelda’s Lullaby to open the waterfall.

Zora’s Domain

This is a place that has changed a lot. Instead of running water, everything will be frozen . Just ice, water and solid state. Even King Zora is confined within ice. Go to Zora’s Fountain and jump across the ice platforms until you reach the ice cave.

Ice Cavern

Continue forward until you find the first room where you must defeat the Freezeerds to open the door, just use Din’s Fire to avoid wasting time. Watch out for the blades that circle the room. Go through the door where you must collect all the Silver Ruppes. After everything, exit through the new open door, follow the corridor until you reach a large room. Kill all the creatures and approach the Blue Fire, fill all your bottles with it. Use one on the red stalagnites to get the Dungeon Map from the chest and fill it up again. Now return to the ice propeller room.

Melt the red walls with blue fire , arriving at a room with no exit and another with a Blue Fire torch. Replenish your pots, melt the red stalagnite to get the Piece of Heart and melt the other stalagnite to get the Compass. Fill them up again and head to the other passage with normal ice.

In this room you must collect all the Ruppes within a certain time limit, push the ice block against the stalagnites, climbing on it when necessary. Once the door is unlocked, fill the pot with Blue Fire, you must make one last block sprout in its original position to push it against the ”circle of pillars”. Go up until you find a door.

You will have to face a White Wolf, the only difference between them and normal Wolfs is their color. Therefore, carry out the same procedures as before. Defeating him will give you a chest with Iron Boots , then Sheik will appear and teach you the Serenade of Water that will take you to Lake Hylia, but don’t use it yet.

Use the Iron Boots and fall into the water hole behind the chest. If you need some Blue Fire, go back to the propeller room to refill the full pots. Now exit and go to Zora’s Domain.

Zora’s Domain

Use Blue Fire on King Zora and he will thank you, giving you a Zora’s Tunic , which allows you to stay underwater for long periods of time. He will also say that Princess Ruto went to the Water Temple to try to resolve the situation. Play the Serenade of Water to reach Lake Hylia, which has not been frozen.

Lake Hylia

Drop into the water and equip the Iron Boots and Zora’s Tunic. You will soon find the entrance to the Water Temple. Hit the blue switch with your Hookshot to open the door.

Water Temple

This is one of the most complicated times in the entire game. Be patient and pay close attention. When you’re ready, put the Iron Boots back on and sink, go to the entrance with two torches, one on each side. There you will find Princess Ruto in all her splendour. At least she’s not boring anymore. But she will say that she will marry you, then she will say that you need to kill the boss here to free the people of Zora’s Domain and that it was Sheik who saved her from freezing. Then she will tell you to follow her so take off your boots. At the top there is a Triforce symbol on the wall. Play Zelda’s Lullaby to lower the water level to the bottom. Enter through the door, defeat all Spiked Balls with your Hookshot or sword. A chest will appear containing the Dungeon Map so go back and fall into the hole.

Use Din’s Fire to light the two torches and open the door. Enter the door and kill all the shells by shooting them right into their mouths with your Hookshot, a chest will appear and the Small Key will appear in it. Exit and go to the beginning of the Temple.

Go to the other side of this room, climb onto the block and push the rock all the way to the end and it will fall into the water. Use the Iron Boots to sink down and reach the next area. Hit the diamond object and the water pillar will rise. Use it as a quick platform to the other side. The next room has a large pool with several waterfalls around it and a strong current around it and inside the water you will see a large pipe. Activate your Iron Boots and fall into the pool, hit the Diamond Object in the dragon’s mouth with your Hookshot and the nearby gate will open. Attach your Hookshot to the target on the wall or take off your Iron Boots and quickly go to the other side. Go up and get the Small Key, shoot the diamond object to reopen the gate then go back to the beginning of the Temple.

Go left and unlock the door, now run to the last of the blocks and use your Hookshot to latch onto the nearest target. Play Zelda’s Lullaby near the Triforce symbol to raise the water level halfway and one of the blocks will rise. Use the Iron Boots and fall into the secret entrance below the platform you climbed.

At the end of it there is a diamond object. Hit him with your Hookshot. Kill the falling enemies to unlock the gate. Go up and get the Small Key, go back to the tower and exit through the only door, place the Iron Boots and area where Princess Ruto was. Take off your Iron Boots and float. There is a cracked wall, blow it up and get the Small Key and go back to the main room.

With the water half full, you will be able to access a tunnel with some pots. Nail yourself to the targets on the walls and you’ll find a chest surrounded by water. Climb into the water on top of the chest and hit the diamond object with your Hookshot to get the Compass. Return to the central pillar again.

On the other side, with the water still at medium height, you will find a locked door. Open it using one of your three Small Keys. Stand on the water pillar and when a Tekitite jumps at you, kill it, go back to the water pillar and hit the object diamond with your Hookshot. This will take you to another room. Play Zelda’s Lullaby near the Triforce symbol to raise the water to its original point. Now, next to you is a door, across the hall is a tunnel. Enter it and pull the block until it falls into a small hole. Now go back and unlock the door.

In this room you just have to fall and hang onto the targets, kill the Skulltula on the wall. Once done, unlock the door where you must use your last Small Key. You will come across a diamond object in the center of the room. Hit it with your Hookshot, causing the water to rise, as well as the dragon statue in the corner opposite you.

Climb onto it using the Hookshot on the target on its belly. Then hit the diamond object again to lower the water level and the dragon. Use the Hookshot on the wall target and climb onto its head. From there, hit the diamond object again to raise the water and head under you, keep doing this until you reach the next room. Kill the Tekitites, then go over the spikes on the ground using the Like Like as a target for the Hookshot.

The time has come to face the much talked about Dark Link.

Boss: Dark Link

Use your shield to block his attacks and at the exact moment he starts attacking with his sword, use Z + A. If you do it correctly, you will hit your opponent (it’s better if you already have Biggoron’s Sword). Otherwise, he will counterattack in a way you won’t like. If you have magic left, use Din’s Fire to make the battle easier.

Once you beat him, go to the new room and get the Longshot from the chest, with this, you can go twice as far as your old Hookshot. Behind the chest there is a blue block, play the Song of Time to make the block disappear then enter the hole. Now you are in front of a river and inside it, Navi points out something, while several whirlpools can suck you to death. Start swimming and at the end there is an eye in the wall, hit it with your arrow to open the gate then swim there (or use the arrow) before time runs out and get the Small Key from the chest. Fall into the hole behind him that leads to an already explored area then return to the main hall.

Now you need to bring the water level back up to half. Go to the second floor and look for an eye, hit it with your arrows and quickly use the Longshot on the target. At the end you will find the block you pulled into the small hole.

Push it until it stops, go right and get the Small Key from the chest, go back to the main hall again. Equip the Iron Boots and dive, go to the left of the place where you found Princess Ruto, follow the tunnel that leads to an area full of spikes, use your Longshot on the target and open the locked door, kill all the Tektites and cross the water carefully. In the next room, kill all the Stingers with your arrows, in this room there is a Switch that is not activated, go down and blow up the strange walls and go through the hole on the right, push the block onto the switch (in the water), once that is done, the water will rise and follow the passage on the right.

In the next room, kill the Tektites with your arrows, step on the switch and jump on the pillars and go to the other side, now you will see a waterfall that drops some rocks, after the first big rock passes, jump close to the waterfall and get one Gold Skulltula then equip the Iron Boots, go through the tunnel and use your last key to open the locked door, get the Boss Key from the golden chest and in the pots there are fairies, take the opportunity to get them if you don’t have any and only then return to the main hall.

Raise the water to the highest point and return to the highest point of the tower, you will see the Longshot target in the belly of the purple statue. Use the Longshot on the target and get some fairies in the pots and enter the door, dodge the walking spikes and enter the boss’s door, get ready to face it.

Boss: Morpha

When Morpha comes out of the water, hit the ball with the Longshot and attack it until it goes back into the water, then repeat the sequence and the ball will explode.

Once you beat him, equip the Iron Boots and take the Heart Container and you will find Princess Ruto and Fourth Knew who will give you the Water Medallion.

Collecting the 5th Medallion

Lake Hylia

You will be on an island with Sheik and a sign that talks about shooting in the morning light, wait until dawn and shoot at the sun with your arrows and a Fire Arrow will fall from the skies. You will now be able to use fire arrows to light torches. Return to the shrine and put the sword back in its place to become a child again and go to Kakariko Village.

Kakariko Village

Go to the mill and talk to the organ grinder man and play the Song of Storms for him, draining the well outside and making the mill go crazy. Go down the well ladder.

Bottom of the Well

Crawl through the passage and aim for the skull and cross the wall, go forward and cross the wall (which is a false wall), follow the false walls and reach a large room. Fall into the water and follow the current to find the symbol of the royal family, play Zelda’s Lullaby , the water will recede allowing you to explore several other points, in an alcove, light all the torches, in one of the coffins there is a Small Key then Go out, on one of the walls there are those hands, be careful and open the door. At the first false door you pass, go down and get the item from the chest and enter the door to face it.

Boss: Dead Hand

Get grabbed by one of the hands and start moving the directional pad in all directions, pressing A until he lets go and this will attract Dead Hand so when he stops to show his face, draw your sword and attack him (Z+A). This will make him turn around and run away, but don’t follow him as he will cause an explosion. Repeat the operation until he dies.

Once you beat him, a chest will appear with the Lens of Truth , use it to find a Huge Ruppe inside a hidden chest. Go out and use the Lens of Truth to find the Smalls Keys and explore the other areas, then go back to the Temple of Time and get the Master Sword to go back to the future and enter Kakariko Village.

Kakariko Village

You’ll see Sheik get knocked down by an invisible being who will also take care of Link. Sheik will wake you up and teach you the song Nocturne of Shadow , play it to be taken to the fence behind the Graveyard. Go forward and stand in the center of the circle of torches and use Din’s Fire to light all the torches and open a passage to the Shadow Temple.

Shadow Temple

Go forward and use the Longshot on the target then look for the false wall and go through the hallway. Find another fake door and kill the enemies to receive the Dungeon Map . Go back to the room with lots of faces and find the Dead Hand boss room .

Kill him the same way you did child Link . Once you beat him, a chest will appear containing Hover Boots . Go back to the room with several faces and you will see a strange bird statue in the center.

The inscription there says: ”To Make the beak point to the skull of truth”, turn the statue to the skull to the north, when you do this, the door on the other side of the abyss will open. Equip the Hover Boots to get there, go forward and you will have three paths to proceed, one of them you have to blow up so go through the door on the left and collect all the ruppes, being careful with the blades. Enter the door that opened and get the Small Key from the chest, then go back and go to the door on the right then kill the two Mummies and a chest will appear containing a Compass so go back and open the locked door.

Continue forward, be more careful with the Giant Skulltulas that will gradually fall from the ceiling, at the end you will find a large room. Go forward and avoid the guillotines and use the Hover Boots to get to the platform that goes up and down, guiding yourself along the chain and going to the other side, also use the Lens of Truth to see some platforms.

Collect the Silver Ruppes to unlock the door, then go down the hallway to find several spikes coming down from the ceiling. Use the Lens of Truth to find a block hidden behind a false wall. Pull it and use it as an ”umbrella”, get a Bundle of Arrows from the chest and in the other cell get a Gold Skulltula, pull the block to the purple face, climb the block and jump to the other side, use the spikes to get to the other side then step on the switch to make a chest appear, go there and get a Small Key from the chest. Go back and use the Lens of Truth to find an invisible platform then jump until you reach the door. Kill the enemies, be careful with the blade that can be seen by the Lens of Truth, the door will open and kill the Gold Skulltula, get a Blue Ruppe from the chest and get a Bundle of Arrows from the invisible chest, go back and head to the platform that goes up and down and go north, keep jumping on the invisible platforms and enter the door.

Kill the two zombies and a chest will appear containing a Blue Rupee. Collect all the Silver Ruppes using the Lens of Truth to see the spikes and invisible Longshot targets on one of the Ruppes you need to use the Hover Boots. When they are all caught, the door will open and a new room will reveal itself.

Go up the stairs and get the Bom Flower and throw it into the skull that will explode then get the Small Key, go back to the previous room, you can see the locked door, but you can’t get there. Use the Lens of Truth to see the target on the ceiling. Get there with the Longshot and open the locked door.

In this room there are fans that will try to blow you over them, put on the Iron Boots to avoid being carried. Enter the door and kill the two zombies, get a Bundle of Arrows from the invisible chest, go back and enter the invisible door.

Kill the two Mummies for a chest with Ruppes and then blow up the pile of sand, where you will find an invisible chest containing a Small Key, then open the door. Pull and push the block against the stairs (near the door), climb the stairs and play Zelda’s Lullaby on top of the Triforce symbol, making the boat start sailing. On the way you will fight with some Stalfos, at the end you have to jump to the other side, as the boat will crash, go to the door.

This room is full of Floormasters and this room is a big maze, use the Lens of Truth to see the invisible walls, there are three doors, in one of them, three rolling skulls, from where you can get good items, throwing bombs at them and kill the Gold Skulltula. In the other room there is a large amount of blood, use the Lens of Truth to see a Floormaster here, killing her will give you the Small Key in the chest, go out and blow up two wooden walls then enter the door. Use Din’s Fire to blow up the walls then kill the two ReDeads for some ruppes, open the yellow chest containing the Boss Key, return to the boat location. Aim your arrows at the bombs that are surrounding the statue, causing the bombs to explode and the statue to fall, forming a bridge to the other side. Unlock the door, use the Lens of Truth to see the invisible platforms and use the Hover Boots to reach the boss room.

Boss: Bongo Bongo

You will need to paralyze your hands so that the head comes down and attacks you, to see the head you have to use the Lens of Truth. When both hands are far enough away, shoot an arrow into each of them. They will be paralyzed, causing the big head to descend towards you so when it sees you, shoot an arrow or use the Longshot at the red eye and then hit it with the sword. Repeat the process until you kill him.

Once you beat him, grab the Heart Container and head to the white light. Impa, Zelda’s drool is released and reveals her Wise nature. Receive the Shadow Medallion!

Gerudo Valley

This area can be found in the far west of Hyrule Field . Cross the broken bridge using Epona at her maximum speed or with the Longshot, on the target under the rags above the bridge. Explore the area to get two Heart Pieces (one behind the waterfall and one on the other side of the cliff). Go straight on.

Gerudo Fortress

Go up and let one of the guards see you. This way, you will be thrown into a cell with no apparent exit. Look up and you will see a target for Longshot. Use it to get out of there. Go down and go forward, seeing a door on the left. Talk to the man in the cell to find out how he was put there. Then you will be attacked by a Gerudo Guard! She uses two swords, aim at her with Z and circle her, using dodge to dodge her blows and attacking with your sword. When she comes running towards her, dodge to the sides. This way, she will have her back turned so punch her. Once you beat her, she will disappear, leaving a Small Key to use to free the guy from the cell.

Go forward and then go left, through the tunnel. Go right and watch the guard until he turns the corner into the hallway. As soon as this happens, run and take the first fork you see. Follow the wall and erase the guards with your arrows, going through the doors they are guarding. You’ll find a cell with another carpenter inside. Repeat the same procedures as in the previous cell, taking the key and freeing him. Go forward and you will see some vines where you can climb down and reach a door. Another cell with another carpenter, do the same thing as in the previous cells. Enter the door to Link’s left.

A woman will appear saying that you have great thief qualities for a man. For this, he will give you Gerudo’s Membership Card, which will prevent you from being thrown in the cell again! Get out of there, without worrying about being discreet.

This area also has a series of fun games that can yield good items.

You can also try to get through the Gerudo Training Grounds, getting the Ice Arrow . When you have done everything you want, head towards the large closed gate. Go up the stairs and talk to the guard, showing the card, she will open the passage for you then go through the gate.

Kill the two Anubises Bu using Din’s Fire. Collect the Silver Ruppes to form a bridge to the next area. Use Deku Stick to light both torches or use Din’s Fire. In the chest, get a Small Key, then go through the door. Go through the small hole in the wall and unlock the door. Destroy the Skulltulas on the wall with the Boomerang and then go up and kill a Gold Skulltula. Then hit the Diamond Object to get 10 Bombchus in the chest. Aim at the rock and throw a Bombchu. If you aimed correctly, the rock will explode and light will come out. Hitting the sun symbol, causing the door to open, revealing the room’s exit.

Push the Armos Statue to the edge so it falls onto the switch and unlocks the door then go up the stairs and unlock the door. Kill the Beamos. Use Bombchu on them and then collect all the Silver Ruppes, when you do this, one of the torches will light up, use the Deku Stick to light the other torches, receiving the Small Key.

Push the gray block with the sun mark into the sunlight. This will open the next door. Go up the stairs and unlock the door. Fight Iron Knuckle and the door will open, go through the door and open the chest containing the Silver Gauntlets. You will see Nabooru being kidnapped by two witches. Return to the Temple of Time and pick up the Master Sword, going back seven years into the future and then play the Requiem of Spirit to return to the Spirit Temple.

Spirit Temple (Adult Link)

Climb the ladder and push the rock, kill the Beamo with the Bombchu, then hit the Diamond Object with the Longshot, go through the door on the left and fight the Wolfos. Play Zelda’s Lullaby on top of the royal symbol to drop a chest , use the Longshot on the chest containing the Compass. Return to the previous room and go right.

Collect all the Silver Ruppes, while dodging the rocks, play the Song of Time in front of the blue block that will disappear and you can kill a Gold Skulltula and the Ruppe at the top, you have to use the Hover Boots. The door will open and you will find a Like Like, kill it and get a Small Key from the chest. Go back to the room with the Diamond Object and open the locked door, kill the Like Like and climb the wall behind it. At the top, use the Lens of Truth to find a Floormaster, kill him and push the large mirror to illuminate the sun symbols. Hit the northern one and the door will open.

Ignore the Armos Statue and run upstairs. Look at the left hand of the statue where you will find the Triforce symbol, use the Hover Boots to get there, play Zelda’s Lullaby and a chest will fall in her right hand containing a Small Key. Go down, use Din’s Fire to light the torches and a chest will appear containing the Dungeon Map, now unlock the door. Go forward and destroy the enemies to unlock the door, go through it. The switch in this room will not stay on. Then, awaken two Armos Statue and let them follow you. Go up the stairs and fight another Iron Knuckle and the door will open. The prize will be the Mirror Shield , which allows you to counter magical and light attacks. Return to the Armos Statue room, bouncing the light from the sun icon. The door will unlock, allowing you to enter and find a Small Key, use it to unlock the locked door.

Kill the two Beamos with Bombchus or Bombs, look at the big wall.

Use the Longshot to reach the highest point and take him there. Touch Zelda’s Lullaby on the Triforce symbol and the door will open , go through it.

Kill the Torch Slugs, all the doors in this room are fake, but you will only need to kill one of them, the one to the left of the flame covering the chest. Behind there will be an eye, which must be hit by an arrow. This will cause another block of ice to appear in front of the one holding the chest over the flame. Use the Longshot target to get there. Hit the switch to put out the flames then get the Boss Key. Leave the room and follow the hallway, going through the door there.

To open this door, you will have to hit the Diamond Object that is behind some bars. Run to the door and destroy the enemies, destroy the stone to the left of the mirror, if you don’t have bombs, light the sun symbol to get some. Kill the enemy and the mirror must be facing the railing. Now head to the first mirror, illuminating the passage opened by you and your bombs. This will cause the light to hit the second mirror then return to the previous room.

Now that the light is reflecting off the large white circle and the floor, use the reflected light on the sun symbol and the floor below will descend in front of the large statue a few rooms back. The light will still be reflected back to you. Shine light on the statue’s face, causing it to melt. Use the Longshot in the open passage, reaching the boss’s door.

Remember the Triforce symbol on the statue’s right hand? Play Zelda’s Lullaby and a chest will appear, use the Longshot on the target and go up the stairs, use the Longshot on the chest. Behind the chest is a rusty switch, which can be activated with the Megaton Hammer. With that, the door in front of the statue will open. Go there and push the big blocks. At the end, you will see a switch, smash it and the block on the floor will serve as a passage to the beginning. Return to the platform and head to the boss room.

When you go through the door, you will have to fight an Iron Knuckle, who will reveal himself to be brainwashed Nabooru! After the sequence, climb the platforms in the next room and start the boss battle.

Boss: Twinrova

Use your Mirror Shield to block and counter their attacks against each other. When the fire witch fires, aim at the ice witch and vice versa. After they are hit four times, they will come together, forming the powerful witch Twinrova. It releases all types of magic, the Mirror Shield cannot counter it but it can absorb magic, absorb four spells of the same type and then aim at it and a huge blast of fire/ice will hit the enemy, causing him to fall to the ground . Go there and attack her with your sword and soon she will be dead.

Once you beat them, get the Heart Container and Nabooru will reveal herself to be the last of the sages, the Spirit Sage, giving you the Spirit Medallion.

With the Six Medallions

Use the Prelude of Light to return to the Temple of Time, where you will meet Sheik who will reveal who he really is, you will receive the Light Arrows , vital for future battles.

With all the medallions, you better finish the minigames, accumulate weapons, finish the trading sequences, find the Heart Pieces and Golden Skulltulas, get all the magical powers and unlock all the secrets. When everything is over, head to Zelda’s castle which is now Ganondorf’s castle.

Ganon’s Castle

You need to destroy the six barriers that are powering the force field and blocking your path. There are six rooms to enter, each related to one of the Medallions.

Forest Barrier

Kill the Wolf and use Din’s Fire to light the torches . Then use a Fire Arrow to hit the one above the door, unlocking the door.

You need to collect all Ruppes. Go left and use the Hover Boots to reach the platform next to the Beamos. Aim with Z and then throw a bomb at him. Drop down and hit the switch which will activate a Longshot target, allowing you to grab the Ruppe. The last Ruppe is on a small pillar with a fan right in front of it, wait for him to stop and quickly run there. Use the Iron Boots to stop yourself from falling off the platform and through the next door.

Target the Forest Barrier (the green ball in the center of the energy stream) with your Fairy Bow and hit it with a Light Arrow. Saria awakens and destroys the Forest Barrier.

Shadow Barrier

Use the chest on the left platform with a Longshot target containing some Ruppes. Return to the entrance and use the torch on the right with Longshot and light it with a Fire Arrow, forming a series of platforms for the island with Like Like. Kill him and use the Hover Boots to get to the next platform. Now use the Lens of Truth to see another invisible path, it will be rusty and you will use the Megaton Hammer then this will open the exit. Use the Lens of Truth again to see another invisible path. Use the Hover Boots to get to the next switch, which will drop a large chest on the platform after the Like Like, use the chest as a Longshot target, getting the Golden Gauntlets and exit the room. Target the Shadow Barrier then Impa will awaken and destroy the Shadow Barrier.

water barrier

Destroy the two Ice Enemies to open the exit. Place some Blue Fire (there is a torch in the center of the room) and use them to melt the Red Ice parts and go through the door.

Push the block furthest from the entrance into the hole. Push the block that is far from the entrance into the hole and then push the other block towards the boulder and push it to another boulder and then go behind the block and push it into the wall. Use Blue Fire on Red Ice and use Megaton Hammer on the rusty switch.

Head to the door and aim for the Water Barrier. Princess Ruto will awaken and destroy the Water Barrier.

Fire Barrier

Put on the Goron Tunic and equip the Hover Boots then collect all the Silver Ruppes, one of them is under the big black pillar. Now head to the door and aim for the Fire Barrier then Darunia will awaken and destroy the Fire Barrier.

Spirit Barrier

Collect the Silver Ruppes and when they are all collected, the door will open so head through the door. Kill the Torch Slugs and hit the Diamond Object behind the bars and a chest will appear. Send a bombchu to the farthest Diamond Object and the door will open.

Look up. You will see that part of the ceiling is covered in spider webs, use your Fire Arrow, making the light pass through the passage. Use the Mirror Shield and reflect the light to the sun symbol .

Aim at the Spirit Barrier, shooting a Light Arrow at it then, Nabooru will awaken and destroy the Spirit Barrier.

Light Barrier

To open the door to this room, you will have to lift the large pillar with your Golden Gauntlets . Use the Lens of Truth to see the invisible Keeses and Skulltulas and a chest will appear containing a Small Key, three chests are fake and three give you five Bundle Arrows and five Ruppes. Unlock the door and tap Zelda’s Lullaby on the Triforce symbol and a chest will appear containing a Small Key, unlock the door.

You will have to collect all the Silver Ruppes in less than 60 seconds. There is one in each recess in the wall, two in the central tower and one above the tower, which you will need the Longshot to reach. In the next room you will see the Light Barrier, but it is not the real one. Use the Lens of Truth to see the passage that will lead you to the truth.

Aim at the Light Barrier with the Light Arrow at it then Rauru will awaken and destroy the Light Barrier.

Central Tower

With each of the barriers destroyed, the central force field no longer has the energy to maintain itself. Enter the center and kill the Keeses and go up the stairs. You will have to kill two Dinolfos, a new version of the Lizalfos. The door will open, allowing you to climb the stairs again. Now you will have to kill two Stalfos, get the Boss Key from the yellow chest. Go forward and you will have to kill two Iron Knuckles, go up again and you will hear organ music getting louder and louder. Go up more stairs and you will find Princess Zelda. He will also face Ganondorf in his first form. If you have the Goron Sword, use it without mercy to strike him.

Boss: Ganondorf

At the beginning, the battle is very reminiscent of the battle against Phanton Ganondorf, where you and he will be measuring strength and countering magic. Don’t stand on the central platform, it will punch the ground and make you and a few more blocks fall to the floor below. Keep countering the energy blasts until you hit him, when this happens, you will have less than three minutes to hit him with the Light Arrow, causing him to be paralyzed for a few moments. When he gets up, return to the side platforms, when you hit him six times, he will use an incredibly magical charge, forming a black hole, which will fire five to six energies at you so the shield is useless. When he’s charging the magic, shoot a Light Arrow at him, if you’re fast enough, he’ll fall and you can hit him a few more times. After a few hits, it will be time to face his demonic form.

As the newly freed princess said, Ganondorf tries to defeat Link and Zelda by bringing down the tower! Just follow Zelda , who will open all the passages for you. Halfway through, it will be surrounded by flames and you will have to face two Stalfos and near the end you will have to face a ReDead , paralyze it with the Longshot and get out of there as quickly as you can. Some rocks fall from the ceiling.

Boss: Ganon

Right at the beginning you will lose the Master Sword , you will only have your other items to make do with. Shields are useless against the blows that can rip up to four entire hearts out of you. Lure Ganon to a pillar and have him destroy it, revealing good items. To attack him, use the Light Arrow in his face , this will make him roar and retreat a little. He will be paralyzed for a few moments, so take the opportunity to grab your most powerful weapon and strike his tail. Get away from him to avoid swords. After Ganon takes good hits to the tail, Zelda will allow you to pick up the Master Sword. Now get ready, as Ganon is faster, repeat the procedure and if your energy bar runs out, approach Ganon without any weapon and when he attacks, somersault behind him and hit him with the Master Sword. his tail then Zelda will soon paralyze him, giving you the opportunity to finish off Ganon. Link will deliver the final blow. So sit back and watch the end of the best Zelda of all time!
