Reanimal features a total of 31 achievements for you to unlock throughout the game. Some you’ll earn naturally as you progress through the story, without needing to do anything special. Others are linked to collectible items scattered throughout the levels, requiring you to find everything hidden in each chapter. And there are still those that require specific actions at certain points in the game. Below, you’ll find the complete list with tips on how to unlock each one:

HISTORICAL ACHIEVEMENTS

Home From Home is unlocked at the end of the Dead in the Water chapter, when you open the driver’s side door of the car parked on the slope and put it in neutral, causing it to roll and knock down the gate ahead.

Save Our Skins is earned at the end of The Cleaning House, when you manage to escape the Sniffer aboard the ice cream truck and arrive back at the beach.

Tarred and Feathered is unlocked in After the Flood by freeing your friend from the cage in the lighthouse and managing to escape the bird creature by crossing the barn.

“It’s a Trap!” appears at the end of No Shelter, when you try to rescue your friend who is trapped in the ropes and end up being captured by the spider creatures.

Happy Days is unlocked in Down in a Hole, when you return to the courtyard after saving your friend from Mother’s clutches and reunite with the rest of the group.

Into the Abyss is unlocked at the end of Nobody Left Behind, after helping the girl cross the building and following the lamb through the opening in the wall to the next area.

All is Well is the achievement for completing the game, unlocked by watching the final scenes of the All-Consuming Past chapter.

COLLECTIBLE ACHIEVEMENTS

Hidden Among the Pines requires you to find all the collectibles hidden in the first three chapters of the game, which are Dead in the Water, The Cleaning House, and After the Flood.

Hidden Among Rats is unlocked by collecting all the hidden items in the three intermediate chapters, which are No Shelter, Down in a Hole, and Nobody Left Behind.

Hidden in Rubble requires you to find all the collectibles from the final three chapters, which are The Spoils, The Watcher, and All-Consuming Past.

Prayer for the Dying is earned by locating and lighting the candle on all five animal statues scattered throughout the chapters during a single playthrough.

Beneath the Mask is unlocked by collecting all 18 masks in the game, which are stored in chests, with creatures scattered throughout the levels, or in secret locations.

Proper Gander requires you to tear down all 20 red posters affixed to walls, posts, and other objects throughout all chapters.

Friends Reunited is the achievement tied to the game’s secret ending. To unlock it, you need to open all five coffins during a single playthrough, without restarting the game from scratch.

ACTION ACHIEVEMENTS

Lost at Sea requires you to navigate at least 10,000 meters in total distance with the boat. This distance can be accumulated in both Dead in the Water and After the Flood, so take advantage of this to thoroughly explore the aquatic areas in those two chapters.

Naval Blazing is unlocked by destroying 20 naval mines during a single match. The mines float in the water and only appear when you are using the boat. Use the harpoons to explode each one you find along the way starting from After the Flood.

Dark Tourism is a curious achievement unlocked in Dead in the Water. After exiting the pipe that leads to the railway area, cross the tracks and go past the covered brick wall. You will find a chair with a figure sitting near an edge. Push this chair into the hole to earn the trophy.

Rock ‘n Pop is unlocked in The Cleaning House, inside the movie theater lobby. Pick up a brick from the floor and throw it at the popcorn machine using the attack button.

Scared to Dust is unlocked in No Shelter, inside the clock tower. After entering through the broken glass of the clock face, use the crowbar to destroy all the petrified children scattered throughout the first room.

Long Live the King is also unlocked in No Shelter, in the banquet hall. During the confrontation with the spider creatures in this area, one of them is wearing a crown. Chase this specific creature to where it hides behind a curtain near the window and defeat it to steal the crown and earn the trophy.

Creature Comforts appears in Down in a Hole, in the City of Sand. After your friend lowers a plank for you to cross the gap, follow a frightened pig that appears running and go to the left, passing under the rubble. Approach the pig and interact with it to calm it down.

Lullabye is also unlocked in Down in a Hole. After escaping Mother’s pursuit and reaching the sunlit room, look for a piano in the hallway with stairs outside that space. Interact with the instrument three times in a row to unlock the achievement.

Shot Through the Heart is earned during the fight against Mother in Down in a Hole. Instead of using the spears only against Mother, throw them at the spider creatures that are on the beds around the arena. You need to hit ten of them in total in that same encounter.

Secret Bunker is unlocked in Nobody Left Behind, in the control room with the button panel. Before entering the correct sequence to call in the missile shipment, enter the secret code you found earlier in Dead in the Water, in a room with missile shelves in the yard where you repair the minecart. The code is: middle, down, down, middle. A poster will be printed and the achievement will be unlocked.

Non-Cannonical is unlocked in Nobody Left Behind. After firing the first missile from the cannon to eliminate the creature blocking the path, load a second missile and aim the cannon towards the bunker embedded in the side of the mountain in the background. Shoot this structure to earn the achievement.

“Just Making Sure” is unlocked in The Watcher. After eliminating the gunman using the rocket launcher, find his body lying at the base of the clock tower. Approach and interact with the body to kick it and unlock the achievement.

Destruction Derby is earned in All-Consuming Past. During the tank race, run over every car you encounter along the way. You need to destroy a total of 24 vehicles while still inside the tank.

Friends Like These is unlocked in The Watcher, in the room with the figures tied to the posts. After picking up the weapon from the overturned box, shoot your playmate using the attack button. It’s a humorous achievement with no permanent consequences.

Survival Instinct requires you to let your ally be killed by an enemy during a grab sequence. When an enemy grabs your companion, you have a limited time to hit them and release them. For this achievement, deliberately do nothing and let the time run out. The game will restart at the last checkpoint, but the achievement will already be registered.

Critter Kill Hit is unlocked by defeating all five masked creatures throughout the game. Each one appears in a different chapter: one in The Cleaning House, one in After the Flood, one in No Shelter, one in Nobody Left Behind, and one in The Watcher. Hit each one with your weapon to collect the mask and count the kill.

Take a Load Off requires you to sit on 10 different chairs or surfaces scattered throughout the game. Whenever you find a bench, chair, or any object where the interaction button appears with the option to sit, use it. Accumulate ten different interactions of this type throughout the entire journey to unlock the achievement.
