007 First Light features a total of 38 trophies on the PlayStation 5 version and 37 achievements on Xbox and PC. The game is considered a fairly accessible platinum trophy, with an estimated difficulty of around 2 to 3 on a scale of 10, and can be completed in approximately 20 hours. The vast majority of trophies are obtained naturally as you progress through the story, and the rest are related to collectibles, combat, and the online mode called TacSim. No trophy is considered permanently missable, as the game offers chapter selection, allowing you to return to any stage to retrieve what you missed.

The general recommendation is to play the entire campaign from beginning to end while collecting the items scattered throughout the levels. This way, you avoid having to revisit many chapters later, making the process much smoother. After finishing the story, simply dedicate a short time to TacSim to complete the online trophies. In total, there are 92 collectibles distributed throughout the campaign, organized into four categories: Legacy Items, Playing Cards, Souvenirs, and MI6 Information. The touchpad menu allows you to view what you have already collected by type, but without chapter tracking, so it’s worth paying attention during each level.

HISTORY PROGRESSION TROPHIES

These 18 trophies are completely automatic and are unlocked as you finish each chapter or experience specific moments in the narrative. No special action is required, just play. Below is the complete list of what is needed to earn each one:

  • Icebreaker: Complete Chapter 1.
  • From Malta with Love: complete Chapter 5.
  • Shaken, Not Stirred: complete Chapter 6.
  • I Hope You Die: unlocked during Chapter 8, at a specific point in the narrative.
  • Free Fall: Complete Chapter 8.
  • Win, Lose, or Die: unlocked during Chapter 10.
  • Nobody Lives Forever: also unlocked during Chapter 10, at another point in the story.
  • Deadly Trigger: Complete Chapter 11.
  • A Man Hard to Kill: unlocked during Chapter 12.
  • You Only Live Twice: also unlocked during Chapter 12.
  • Agent on Fire: Complete Chapter 12.
  • At the Peak: unlocked during Chapter 13.
  • No Time to Die: Complete Chapter 13.
  • All or Nothing: unlocked during Chapter 15.
  • You Know My Name: Complete Chapter 15.
  • Solo: Complete Chapter 16.
  • The Writing Is on the Wall: Complete Chapter 17.
  • For the King and the Country: conclude Chapter 18.

The platinum trophy, titled My Name is Bond, James Bond, is automatically unlocked once all other trophies have been earned.

COLLECTIBLE TROPHIES

These six trophies require you to find all 92 items scattered throughout the campaign chapters. Each collectible category has its own trophy, and by collecting absolutely all of them, you unlock the overall collector’s trophy. Since the game doesn’t have chapter tracking, only item type tracking, it’s worth consulting a visual guide while playing to avoid missing anything. The good news is that all collectibles are available in the campaign and none of them disappear after completing a level, so chapter selection resolves any unforeseen issues. Check below what is required for each trophy:

  • The World Is Not Enough: collect all the postcards scattered throughout the campaign.
  • For Your Eyes Only: Unlock all the MI6 files found throughout the levels.
  • Recovered Items: gather all the hidden mementos from the sets.
  • Casino Royale: Find all the playing cards distributed throughout the chapters.
  • A Legacy of Espionage: discover all the legacy items featured in the campaign.
  • The Collector’s Habit: collect absolutely all collectibles from the previous four categories to guarantee this final trophy.

COMBAT TROPHIES

These nine trophies require you to perform specific actions during encounters throughout the campaign. They come fairly naturally if you experiment with the different tools the game offers, but some require a little more attention. Carefully read what each one asks for and try to recreate the described situation as soon as you have the opportunity:

  • Soft Landing: grab an enemy and push them off an ledge or uneven surface in the environment.
  • Manual Skill: Hit an enemy with a shot, causing them to drop the weapon without killing them.
  • Positively Shocking: Position yourself so that a shot fired by an enemy armed with a stun gun hits one of their teammates. This type of opponent starts appearing from Chapter 6 onwards.
  • Short Fuse: shoot an enemy the exact moment they throw a grenade. Pay attention to enemy dialogue during combat, as they often shout before throwing the explosive.
  • He Will Survive: Knock out an enemy by aiming and shooting only at his legs until he falls unconscious.
  • Incendiary: grab an enemy by the neck and push them directly against a fire extinguisher located in the environment.
  • Wet Firecracker: Use Bond’s special watch to hack a grenade on the ground before it explodes.
  • Disarming Personality: Use the laser bracelet to disarm an enemy who is holding a weapon.
  • Always Have an Exit: Use any available gadget to escape a confrontation. A smoke bomb is the simplest and most direct way to secure this trophy.

TACSIM TROPHIES

TacSim is the game’s online mode, where you face mission segments with extra challenges and modifiers. It consists of two types of activities: Climbs and Operations. Climbs become available after completing Chapter 6, while Operations are only unlocked after finishing the main story. There are only four trophies in this mode, and the time required to obtain them is very short, around 30 minutes. See what each one requires:

  • A Change of Pace: Complete any Climbing level in TacSim. Each Climbing level lasts between one and three minutes, so this gets done quickly.
  • Readiness Level is Everything: Complete the third level of any available Climb. Despite being a gold trophy, the process is simple given the short time allotted for each level.
  • What if…?: Complete any operation in TacSim. Operations typically last between three and five minutes.
  • Keep Moving Forward: Reach Authorization Level 3 within TacSim. This usually happens naturally by completing Climb objectives and challenges. If you haven’t reached the required level yet, repeat some short Climbs to quickly accumulate XP.
